Responded to ransom notes saying they are willing to pay for her return. A sometimes heated house hearing over immigration enforcement operations, including officers wearing masks during arrests. Acting ICE chief Todd Lyons telling lawmakers the masks are needed for officer safety. This coming as lawmakers are trying to come up with a compromise to fund the Department of Homeland Security for a Friday deadline. The FBI looking into the 2020 vote count in Georgia.

A federal judge unsealed the application the FBI made to obtain a warrant in search of the election center. Earlier this year, the FBI seized hundreds of boxes of ballots. The affidavit cites two federal laws potentially violated, one requiring preservation of election records and another depriving residents of a fair and impartial election process.

Officials in Mobile, Alabama continuing to search for clues in the case of a family last seen more than a week ago.

The FBI and other federal agencies assisting the effort as sheriff's deputies searched two locations in Theodore, Alabama, including a mobile home park about 10 miles from where Aurelia Chalk, her 2 year old son Anthony, and her 17 year old daughter Neruca were last seen January 30th. Friends and family saying it's troubling their cell phones were left behind. There was also blood found throughout their home, signs of a strug and a missing mattress, according to Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch, who confirmed one person was taken into custody for questioning in Baldwin county after a traffic stop. He says as of now, no arrests have been made.

The fda says it'll reassess the safety of the chemical BHA used in foods including potato chips, cereals, frozen meals and meat products. The agency first listed BHA as generally recognized as safe in 1958 and approved it as a food additive in 1961. But since 1991, it's been classified as recently anticipated to be a human carcinogen.
