A week after Hurricane Melissa roared into Jamaica, officials say it ripped the roofs off more than 120,000 buildings, affecting about 90,000 families in the island's western region. About 2500 people are still living in more than 180 shelters. And crews are still clearing roads in an attempt to reach 27 areas still cut off by landslides and flooding. Melissa killed at least 32 people in Jamaica and at least 43 in Haiti. For the second time in less than a year, astronauts are stuck in space. But this time it's not US Astronauts who are stranded.

The six month stay extended for three Chinese astronauts stuck inside their space station. China's space agency says it's concerned the return ship was struck by tiny pieces of space debris, which is an increasing hazard in low Earth orbit. The agency did not give any details about the extent of the damage or what repairs, if any, will be required. The three member Shenzhou 20 team had been scheduled to come back to Earth on Wednesday, but their return is postponed indefinitely. They will have to wait while engineers conduct impact analysis and risk assessments on the damaged spacecraft.
