Creator OpenAI is hit with seven lawsuits by people alleging their loved ones have been harmed by interactions with the artificial intelligence chatbot, which they claim encouraged suicide and harmful behavior. The suits, filed in California, represent four people who died by suicide and three others who experienced psychological trauma following interactions with ChatGPT. The case is alleged that OpenAI rushed the launch of its flagship AI model released in mid 2024, a decision the lawsuit compressed its safety testing. The suits also alleged the company prioritized user engagement and prolonged interactions over safety in the chatbot's design. Lillian Wu, Fox News Consumer sentiment dropped.

To a three year low in November, a month into the government shutdown, led by pessimism in both personal finances and anticipated business conditions. The survey from the University of Michigan showed the index of consumer sentiment was down 6.2% from last month and nearly 30% from a year ago. Honda is recalling hundreds of thousands of cars over a wheel detachment problem.

It's an apparent manufacturing problem that may cause aluminum alloy wheels to detach. Over 400,000 Honda Civics from the 2016 to 2021 model years are affected that have 18 inch aluminum alloy wheels sold as accessories, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Owners of the recalled cars are urged to take them to their local dealers for inspection and a free fix if needed. The recall comes months after Honda announced a separ recall over a brake pedal issue involving some Honda Pilot models.
