On tariffs, the president wants to share some of the billions collected.
Henry Cuellar
You know, we're making so much money with tariffs that we'll also be able to make a nice dividend to middle income people. We're talking about middle income and lower income people. We're not talking about dividends to rich people.

But tonight will be a night rich with awards and appreciation. This year's honorees are Sylvester Stallone, the rock band kiss, singers Gloria Gaynor and George Strait and actor Michael Crawford. Near New Orleans, protesters have been following ICE agents around the town of Kenner warning people agents are there by blowing their whistles and honking their horns.
But GOP Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana tells Fox News the Trump administration is sending in ICE agents to enforce the law.
Henry Cuellar
And all we're doing is enforcing the law. Look, the best way to avoid ICE is don't be in our country illegally, duh.

Meantime, in the Chicago metro area, social media video shows protesters throwing snowballs amid a standoff with federal officers. In the city of Elgin.
Demonstrators shouting as agents deploy tear gas. Some protesters arrested and there was a car crash. And Notre Dame's left out of the playoff while Alabama and Miami get in. And so the fighting Irish say they have turned down an invitation to play in the Pop Tarts bowl in Orlando. America's listening to FOX News.

Greek authorities say at least 18 immigrants died when their inflatable boat capsized south of Crete while trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea. A passing Turkish merchant ship spotted. The half sunken boat was able to rescue two survivors. Searches underway for any missing. Just a few days after President Trump issued a preemptive pardon for embattled Congressman Henry Cuellar, the president's lashing out at the Texas Democrat on truth social media. Cuellar announced he is running for reelection as a Democrat, which prompted the president to blast him for, in his words, continuing to work with the same radical left scum, Cuellar told Fox News.
Henry Cuellar
I'm a Democrat, probably one of the most, if not the most bipartisan Democrat. And as I told some of my Republican friends on the House floor, I vote better than some of the Republicans.

Cuair and his wife Imelda were indicted last year on several counts, including bribery. He has maintained his innocence. An illegal immigrant jailed in Charleston, North Carolina, accused of stabbing someone on the train. This is the second such incident in the city this year.
Fox News Reporter
Sources say he's a two time deported migrant from Honduras who also has quite the long rap sheet already. He's also facing now attempted first degree murder charges and assault with a deadly weapon. The attack happened just two weeks after ICE operations ended in Charlotte. And now President Trump is putting the city back on blast saying, quote, another stabbing by an illegal migrant in Charlotte, North Carolina. What is going on in Charlotte? Democrats are destroying it like everything else, piece by piece.
