Trump administration waiving part of a fine levied against one airline for canceling thousands of flights during a winter storm three years ago.

The U.S. department of Transportation will waive the final $11 million of a fine it once imposed on Southwest Airlines for its canceling of 17,000 flights and subsequent stranding of 2 million passengers in December of 2022 in the midst of a winter storm. Those cancellations were determined to have been caused by Southwest's computerized crew scheduling systems not being able to handle the changes. Southwest agreed to $140 million penalty in its settlement with the Biden administration. Most of it was used to compensate affected travelers. Eben Brown, Fox News.

That's nine years less than numbers from a new study from Money Geek, which researched health care across the nation. It found average life expectancy directly correlates with where you live. A study shows on average, Americans in general pass away sometime in their 70s and on average can expect to reach 76.4 years old. Massachusetts comes in at 79.6, which has the highest insurance coverage rate in the country. At the bottom of the life expectancy list, West Virginia, Alabama, Louisiana and Kentucky.
