The FBI says the investigation expands beyond just this country. That's because the man who came to the US from Afghanistan in 2021 previously worked with the US government, the CIA. In Kandahar, President Trump appeared to indicate he believed the suspect may have mental health issues. He went cuckoo. I mean, he went nuts and that happens. The New York Times spoke to a childhood friend who asked him be identified only as Muhammad because he feared Taliban reprisals, said that the suspect suffered from mental health issues and was disturbed by the casualties his unit had caused.

Authorities in Hong Kong say there's no one trapped alive anymore in the charred ruins of seven apartment buildings engulfed in Wednesday's inferno. Though some people are still unaccounted for. As for those who've been arrested, they were involved in a renovation project at the high rise complex. The first three taken into custody work for a construction company and could face manslaughter charges, suspected of gross negligence.

First responders also say some smoke alarms were not working. Police just confirming a 55 year old American woman believed to be missing in the Caribbean has been found. They're not releasing more details, only that they have made contact with Ann Evans, who was reported missing over a week ago after not returning to her cruise ship.
