A sit down in Scotland. I'm Dave Anthony. FOX News. President Trump at his golf club in Turnberry meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer focused on a lot of issues, including Gaza. It's a terrible situation. The whole thing is terrible. It's been bad for many years. After the US had pulled out of ceasefire talks last week, the president just told reporters Hamas has become very difficult to deal with in the last couple of days. We need to get the hostages out. They've been held for a very, very long time and we must always start from there. But Prime Minister Starmer says at the same time, the situation in Gaza for Palestinian civilians is intolerable. Seeing those images of starving children in particular are revolting. Israel is pausing fighting in some areas of Gaza for hours at a time to let more food in, some by airdrop. They also talked about the war in Ukraine. With President Trump saying he's losing patience with Russia no longer willing to wait for a ceasefire, the 50 day deadline for a truce would have run out in early September. Now President Trump says he might give Vladimir Putin just 10 days to strike a deal. He's got to make a deal. It's too many people to die. It's a really bloody war. We're told to expect an official announcement of a new deadline in the next day or two. If there's no ceasefire, President Trump says he'll hit Russia with secondary tariffs meant to deter other countries from doing business with Moscow. That's Fox's Jonathan Savage. The two leaders also talking trade today after the president at his same golf club yesterday worked out a separate agreement with European Commission President Universal of underlying we're together. The two largest economies worldwide. The deal imposes a 15% tariff on most European imports, lower than the 30% President Trump had threatened. The EU will also buy $750 billion worth of energy from the U.S. on top of investing $600 billion more in America. And the president says the EU agreed to buy military equipment from the U.S. fox's Madeleine Rivera. America's listening to FOX News. Ryan Reynolds here from Mint Mobile.
