His family announced his death in a statement saying Jackson died peacefully this morning surrounded by his family. Family his unwavering commitment to justice, equality and human rights helped shape a global movement for freedom and dignity. A cause of death was not mentioned, but Jackson had been dealing with several health issues.

President Trump has threatened failed talks to get Iran to scale back. Its nuclear program could lead to an attack like last year. Iran has fired off a missile test and its supreme leader just warned of slapping the US down, adding the president cannot depose the Islamic republic. Also in GENEVA Today, more U.S. brokered talks between Russia and Ukraine as their war rages. Ukraine's just bombed Russia's oil refinery across the border, countering what Fox's Jonathan Savage reports.

Ukraine's air force says Russia launched 425 drones and missiles overnight. The vast majority are said to have been shot down, but 13 targets were hit. The barrage forced neighboring Poland to stop flights at two airports near the Ukrainian border.

Those flights have since resumed. Police officers dead in Indiana shot in Beech Grove in the Indianapolis area in an attack that left another officer wounded. The suspected gunman captured. Late last night in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, a gunman opened fire at a high school hockey game killing two people, critically wounding three others. Then he shot and killed himself. More than 40 cases of measles have been reported at Ave Maria University in southwestern Florida. The Florida Department of Health recently updated its data to show 46 confirmed measles cases across Collier county, with the university serving as the primary site for the cluster. The outbreak at the Catholic college comes amid a broader national increase in measles cases, with 2,280 confirmed infections nationwide in 2025.
