He spoke with Emperor Naruhito after landing in Tokyo today. Hurricane Melissa is about 135 miles from Jamaica and could be the strongest on record to ever make landfall there. A category 5.

What are our big concerns? Obviously, when you talk about winds at 160 miles an hour, that's one of the big concerns. We're looking at maybe a wall of water 13ft hitting this. We're also going to be seeing maybe rainfall totals getting up into the 30 to 40 inch range.

The Department of Agriculture posting a notice on its website saying federal food aid like SNAP will not go out on November 1st. The USDA will not be tapping roughly $5 billion in contingency funds saying, quote, bottom line, the well is run dry. About 1 in 8Americans use SNAP to buy groceries. Congress remains at a standstill on a deal to reopen the government as Democrats have made health care provisions a key sticking point to get their votes on any. Governor Mike Brauns called a special legislative session to redraw congressional maps in Republicans favor as part of President Trump's push for new maps ahead of next year's midterm elections. Two of what are thought to be four thieves responsible have been arrested and are in police custody. The suspects are being grilled at a police headquarters in Paris after at least one tried to fly out of the country. Both are from a rough area in the Paris outskirts of known to police with robbery records. Those are the two suspects. They're still on the loose. Also apparently still missing, $100 million worth of French crown jewels, making the search an intensifying race against time. The fear the crooks will break up the jewels and sell them off. The hope they see the value in what they have.

That's Fox's great Palkot outside the museum. Israel's foreign minister says Turkish troops will not be part of any international peace force to oversee a ceasefire in Gaza because of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's long standing hostility toward Israel. Zoran Mamdani, the Democrats candidate for mayor in New York held the biggest rally of the campaign so far. About 10,000 people there to see him and a couple of left wing all stars.

The crowd when we were in there out in Queens went wild. They were screaming, chanting and very excited when Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Senator Bernie Sanders came out on that stage.

And as the stars of the Democratic Party, the trio greeting thousands at a nearly packed Queens stadium, which holds around 13,000 people. And the topic was affordability. They say everything from coffee to your rent is too expensive in the Big Apple. Voters say they want free child care, free buses and who do they want to pay for it? The rich.
