This breaking development comes after yesterday Providence police asked the public to help identify a second person captured also on surveillance video nearly passing the person of interest on the sidewalk. The police said if people would come forward and help identify the two people, they'd get the break they needed.

Fox's CB Cotton in Providence. Retired NASCAR star Greg Biffle and his family have died in a plane crash in North Carolina. The Cessna C550 erupted into flames when it hit the ground while trying to land at Statesville regional airport, about 45 miles north of Charlotte.

Biffle, who was 55, was named the 1998 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year and won the 2000 series championship in the Xfinity series. 66 year old andrew dykes pleading not guilty to the 1997 killing of tanya denise jackson in a nassau county, new york court. The retired army veteran will remain in custody until he returns to court in January the defense noting they'll likely challenge DNA evidence allegedly linking him to the case. Jackson, a 26 year old mother and army veteran's body was found near Lakeview, New York in 1997. The remains of her two year old daughter were found in Gilgo Beach 14 years later, but both bodies weren't identified by DNA until this year. Prosecutors allege Dykes and Jackson had a relationship while stationed at the same military base. Dykes has not been charged in the toddler's killing.
