Andrew Manbatten Windsor was arrested this morning at his home on the Royal Sandringham estate. Police are investigating potential misconduct in public office. Documents in the Jeffrey Epstein file suggest the former Duke of York passed on confidential information to the billionaire sex offender while working as a trade envoy. King Charles, who last year stripped Andrew of his royal titles and forced him to move home, has issued a statement. He says the authorities have his full support and the law must take its course.

The original intent of the board, which will be chaired indefinitely by Trump, was to oversee the Gaza reconstruction, but has taken on a broader mandate of resolving global crises. Some see it as an attempt by the US to sidestep the United Nations. Several notable absences are expected, including Britain, France, Norway and the Vatican, all of which have declined invitations to participate.
