Axing the tax or in this case, the tariff. I'm Daria Alminger, Fox News. The White House is turning its focus on affordability. President Trump signing an executive order to bring down the costs on some things that you probably buy at the grocery store. Fox's Madeline Rivera with details.

So they are scrapping tariffs on things like coffee, tea, cocoa, spices, bananas, oranges, tomatoes and beef. The White House has also been floating several ideas about how they can drive down prices for Americans. They've talked about 50 year mortgage plans for lower monthly payments and giving out $2,000 checks from tariff revenues. Democrats, meantime, say the partial rollback of one of the president's signature policies shows they know they've made a mistake. Democratic Virginia Congressman Don Beyer says in a statement President Trump is finally admitting what we always knew. His tariffs are raising prices for the American people.

Immigration enforcement operations are underway in Charlotte, North Carolina. Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Trisha McLaughlin confirming that operations have started in the state's largest city.
