Tyler Boyer is the chief operating officer at Turning Point usa, the conservative group Kirk co founded. He'll be there later today when President Trump will posthumously award Kirk with the nation's highest civilian honor.

President Trump expects a packed house. He and Kirk enjoyed a mutually uplifting relationship. It was the president who first confirmed Kirk's death and on that same day announced plans to award him with the medal of freedom.

And Erica Kirk will attend this celebration of life today. Friday marked the one month point since her husband's assassination in Pennsylvania.

The man who firebombed the governor's mansion in April, Cody Ballmer, just pleaded guilty to attempted murder, arson and other charges. Governor Josh Shapiro and his family were home, not hurt at the time. A day after Hamas released all the living hostages, it still hasn't turned over the bodies of 24 others, only returning the remains of four.

So far, we've also begun to learn a little bit more about what some of those hostages went through, including one man who said he was basically chained in the same spot in an underground tunnel for almost the entire two years where he says he lost all sense of space and time. Now all 20 of the freed hostages overnighted in hospitals, many of them choosing to stay outside or on balconies to try and see the stars at night after two years in captivity.

Fox's Stephen on day 14 of the government shutdown, there's another funding vote in the Senate, but it may fail. Like all the earlier ones tend to stand off.

Republicans say they want to negotiate with Democrats over health care concessions, but only after the government reopens. Democrats don't trust Republicans, though, to follow through and compromise.
