Now overnight, the United States unleashed powerful strikes against the Iranian regime. U.S. central Command says a variety of targets were hit, including Iranian surveillance sites and air defense systems. Speaking from the Situation Room overnight, President Trump told Fox News 49 Tomahawk missiles hit locations as close as 40 miles from the capital of Tehran. Positions were also targeted along the southwestern part of the country.

That's Fox's Trey Youngst in Tel Aviv. Of course, the conflict's driven up oil and gas prices and overall inflation. The producer price index for May rose more than expected, up 1.1%. The PPI measures prices at the wholesale level. The increase was more than estimated. Fox's Jenny Cosol the annual wholesale inflation rate also more than expected, six and a half percent, the most since November 2022. Back to the president. on Wall street, despite the report showing bigger than expected wholesale inflation in May, stocks are rebounding from the massive sell off triggered by yesterday's update on a spike in consumer prices. The Dow is getting back more than a third of those losses, rising 365 points. The NASDAQ is up 282, the S&P 500 adding 56 points. The price of oil is down almost 1%. WTI back to about 89 bucks a barrel. Gas is also down a few pennies today. AAA's national average for regular $4.12 per gallon. That is 44 cents less than the peak of the Iran conflict surge last month.
