And the Minneapolis school system, which has been closed for two days now, says it will offer families remote learning as ICE operations and protests continue. More sanctions enforcement in the Caribbean as US Forces seize another oil tanker in.

The fifth seizure of a sanctioned oil tanker in recent weeks. The the military says Marines and sailors work with the Department of Homeland Security to seize the oil tanker in the Caribbean without incident. In a post on X US Southern Command saying, quote, once again, our joint interagency forces sent a clear message this morning. There is no safe haven for criminals.

Federal prosecutors are looking into payments involving New York's attorney general and her longtime hairdresser.

The investigation is still in its early stages, but federal prosecutors say they want to talk to Ayasota Marsh, a hairdresser who has known New York Attorney General Letitia James for years. Last month, Marsh was indicted in the US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and charged with bank fraud and aggravated identity theft in connection with a Land Rover purchased about three years ago. It's the latest effort by the Trump administration to pursue James, a longtime nemesis of President Trump who was indicted last year in a criminal investigation centered on her purchase of a Virginia home in 2020. A judge tossed the charges and two separate grand juries rejected subsequent efforts to charge James. In New York City, Tonya J. Powers, FOX News.

Defense attorneys for accused killer Luigi Mangione are trying to get a charge that could lead to the death penalty tossed out on a technicality, arguing that a stalking allegation doesn't meet a requirement for underlying violence. Today's hearing is in federal court. They've also been fighting in state court to have evidence excluded, including a gun found in a backpack. When Mangione was arrested in Pennsylvania several days after health care executive Brian Thompson was shot and killed in in New York City, a day of mourning in Switzerland after the deadly New Year's Eve fire at a ski resort.

Then, church bells across the nation for five minutes, remembering the 40 dead that burned so severe. Officials needed families to supply DNA samples just to identify some victims. 116 people were injured and dozens are still hospitalized.
