Federal law enforcement sources tell Fox News Digital the suspect was 21 year old Nasir Bess from Maryland. Bess allegedly had encountered Secret Service at least twice last year and had a history of mental health issues. Court records state Best was charged in July with trying to enter a restricted area near the White House. Authorities say Best told them he was Jesus Christ and that he wanted to get arrested. Best was also reportedly detained by Secret Service the previous month for flagging down agents and making threats. The president saying on Truth Social the gunman near the White House had a violent history and possible obsession with our country's most cherished structure.

President Trump says a peace deal between the US And Iran has been largely negotiated following a call with leaders of several countries in the Middle east over the weekend. And he's winning praise from Republicans, including Indiana Congressman Marlon Stutzman.

We were told that there were multiple victims. There was active shots being fired. After officers arrived, our SWAT team was called.

County Sheriff Wesley Doolittle says the victims were hospitalized with minor injuries there. There's no word on a motive. Police say one of the victims is a neighbor of the suspect. The suspect is a 60 year old man who surrendered to police about an hour after the incident began. Chris DiMaio, Fox News.

The outlawed Balaq Liberation army, or BLA, which demands independence from Pakistan's central government, has claimed responsibility for a powerful bomb explosion near a railway track in southern Pakistan. The device exploded as a passenger drain carrying security personnel to passed through the city of Kedah today. Officials say at least 23 people were killed, over 70 wounded, 20 critically. Although Pakistani authorities say they've quelled the insurgency, violence does continue. 28 Boy Scouts on a river trip were rescued from fast moving flood waters in West Virginia yesterday.
