Multi pack carton sizes of Ritz cracker sandwiches are part of a voluntary recall that because peanut butter sandwiches might have been mislabeled as cheese, though the outer packaging carton correctly says contains peanuts. Parent company Mondelez says the filled crackers were manufactured in the US for national distribution. The recall involves a variety of package sizes. The mislabeling could result in a life threatening allergic reaction to people who are allergic or have severe sensitivity to peanuts. Mondelez says no other Ritz or other products are included in the recall and anyone with questions can contact the company.
