Earlier, seven Republicans in the Senate sided with Democrats to kill a package of six bills that included funding for the Department of Homeland Security. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham voted for the legislation, but said he does agree that reforms are needed for ice. Sean Grayson gets a 20 year prison sentence for the murder of son. She reported a possible prowler outside her home in Springfield, Illinois. Inside with another deputy, Grayson orders Massie to remove a pot of hot water from the stove and put it down. She says, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. He threatens to shoot her. She says, I'm sorry, puts her hands up and ducks behind a counter. He approaches, there's confusion. And then she's shot in the face. Grayson says he thought Massey was going to throw hot water at him. The other deputy testified there was no threat. Massie was 36 years old, black, a single mother with mental health problems that had been reported to police. Grayson is white, 31, convicted in October of second degree murder.
