Three others who protested in that church had already been arrested and charged. Those angry about immigration enforcement and the deadly shootings related to it are calling on people across America today to ICE out in protest. Don't go to work or school. Don't shop. As the cleanup continues in some areas from that massive snow and ice storm last weekend from New Mexico to Maine, another storm is coming to the East Coast.

Really kind of the bullseye for this new snow system is going to be the Carolinas. You're looking at winter storm warnings there, North Carolina, South Carolina, stretching up into Virginia.

Health experts are warning residents in places like Tennessee and Mississippi that with yet another blast of extremely cold weather comes the risk of hypothermia. The warning is specific to communities enduring power outages and homes going without proper heating in the midst of sustained extraordinary cold weather not normally felt in places with warmer climates. Cold exposure can be deadly, certainly even for usually healthy people when enduring that cold for days on end. And while generators can power things like space heaters, carbon monoxide poisoning is also a major cause of death in these situations. Leaders of the Alberta Prosperity Project want Alberta, a western province with a lot of oil production, to break away from Canada. They say they've met with Trump administration officials in D.C. three times since last April with a plan to ask next for $500 billion in credit to help fund the province. If an independence referendum is called and it passes. Prime Minister Mark Carney tells reporters, we expect the US Administration to respect Canadian sovereignty and says President Trump has never brought up the issue of Alberta independence with him.
