Tyler Robinson appeared virtually for this hearing which established who will defend him and what will happen next. Much of what will take place will involve discovery, the sharing of evidence between both sides. Prosecutors describe what they have to present at trial as voluminous. Robinson has been in custody since September 12, two days after local and federal investigators say he fired the shot that killed Charlie Kirk at a Utah Valley University event. Prosecutors say the death penalty will be on the table at trial. The next hearing is October 30th. Robinson is expected to be there in person.
