Affordability. I'm Chris Foster, FOX News. That continues to be the word in national politics. And President Trump gives a speech about his economic agenda today in Pennsylvania.
Mark Meredith
President Trump spent a lot of time on the campaign trail talking about bringing down the cost of living. Today he will be in Pennsylvania giving a speech to remind voters that he hasn't forgotten about his campaign pledge. You can call it affordability or anything you want, but the Democrats caused the affordability problem and we're the ones that are fixing it. So it's a very simple statement and they caused it. We're fixing it. The president's focus on the American consumer coming one day after he announced the government's going to spend $12 billion to issue American farmers one time payments amid a dismal year in farming. The trade war with China amid many other countries also having weak demand for some agricultural products.

Fox's Mark Meredith. Ukraine is presenting the United States with a revised plan for peace with Russia.
Jonathan Savage
This new offer comes after talks between Ukraine's president, Vladimir Volodymyr Zelensky and the leaders of the UK France and Germany. President Zelensky says the Revised plan comprises 20 points. But on the most difficult issue, giving up territory to Russia, there's still no agreement. The United States wants Ukraine to hand over land, but the Ukrainian leader says he's constitutionally barred from doing so.

The mother of White House press Secretary Caroline Levitt's nephew has been ordered released from immigration detention while she fights potential deportation. 33 year old Bruna Ferreira, who was previously engaged to Levitt's brother Michael, was driving to pick up their 11 year old son in New Hampshire when she was arrested by ICE agents in Massachusetts last month. Her attorney says the longtime Massachusetts resident was moved to a detention facility in Louisiana. A Homeland Security spokesperson in an email calling Ferreira a criminal illegal alien, saying she'd been arrested for battery, an allegation her attorney denies. Lillian Wu, FOX News.

The Catholic Church of New York says it'll set up a fund for sexual abuse victims.
Ainsley Earhart
In a statement, Cardinal Timothy Dolan said the archdiocese will pay for the $300 million fund with budget cuts and selling off assets like its former headquarters in Manhattan. There are roughly 1300 outstanding claims against the archdiocese. Thousands of sexual abuse claims have been filed since New York lawmakers passed so called look back laws in 2019 and 2022 that allowed people to file claims even if the statute of limitations had run out. Jeff Anderson, who represents 300 of those who have filed claims, says the fund is a, quote, step in the right direction, but that no agreement has been made. In New York, Tanya J. Powers, FOX News.
