One person in critical condition after a shooting involving border patrol near the U. S. Mexico border. The Pima County Sheriff's Department says it's working with the FBI in U.S. customs and Border Protection in response to the shooting. The FBI says it's investigating what it says was an assault on a federal officer and that the subject's in custody. The area is a common path for drug smugglers and migrants who cross the border illegally. NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy says if the recommendations on aircraft safety had been implemented, last year's crash between a military helicopter and a passenger jet likely wouldn't have happened.

A lawsuit against the federal government filed by families of men from Trinidad killed in a military strike.
Gernall Scott, FOX News Reporter
The families in their filing called the attack that killed their relatives manifestly unlawful, defined in military code as an obviously illegal act. The lawsuit alleges that there is no current conflict declared by Congress and that the premeditated killings are unjustified. Dozens of strikes have occurred in Caribbean and eastern Pacific waters. More than 120 people have been killed as a result. The Department of War said it won't comment on active cases, but the Trump administration has previously called it an effort to combat narco terrorism. This lawsuit is believed to be the first to challenge the US Boat strikes in front of a judge. Gernall Scott, FOX News.

President Donald Trump
All of the Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh physical stores are closing as early as Sunday as Amazon focuses on Whole Foods and online same day delivery. The company is planning to open more than 100 new Whole Foods markets over the next few years.
