President Trump has been focused on taking down what he calls domestic terrorism networks in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination and he has been focusing on left leaning groups. The president saying on Truth Social that he is directing his Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to provide troops to Portland and any other ICE facilities that he says are are under siege from attack by antifa and other domestic terrorists. He says he's authorizing full force if necessary. The city's mayor reported seeing armored vehicles and more federal agents in the city. He says they did not ask them to come.

Domestic violence has included attacks on ICE agents and the assassination of Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk. A tropical storm and possible future hurricane could hit the Carolinas next week. Fox Weather's Mike Sideel in Folly Beach, South Carolina.

It will become Tropical Storm Imelda and then forecast to become a minimal hurricane by the early part of the week. It's going to take from now until Tuesday to get it due east of Jacksonville. So we're a long way from anything here in South Carolina. But the track comes up, stalls and then goes right out to sea. Landfall now is looking less and less likely but we will still have impacts. Even though the Carolina coast is not in the cone, you can still have impacts outside of the cone. One of those is rainfall. Flood watches will probably go up and there'll be some flash flooding. Winds may gust a hurricane force 74 miles an hour. This is all going to be ironed out in the coming days.

The Justice Department went after Comey over the objections of queer prosecutors. And the local US Attorney, who was then replaced Russia's defense minister addressed the UN Today, warning Europe of possible reprisals if countries get involved in Ukraine. Here's fox's Stephanie Bennett.

He said Russia has been and remains open to negotiations on eliminating the root causes of the conflict. But Russia's security and vital interests must be reliably agreed, he said. He also spoke on accusations against Russia of planning to attack NATO countries after many have accused Moscow of violating their airspace with jets and drones in recent weeks, which the Kremlin has denied. President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social that he thinks Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and win all of Ukraine back.
