A high stakes meeting. I'm Lisa Licera, Fox News. President Trump on his way to China to meet with its leader. And Iran likely to be a main focus.

President Trump says he expects to have a long conversation with President Xi Jinping about the war in Iran.

China is a major buyer of Iranian oil and the administration has sought to use Beijing to pressure Iran to make a peace deal. Still, before leaving the White House, President Trump said he is not asking for China to intervene in negotiations, adding the US doesn't need any help with Iran.

Officials also say that right now there are no signs of a larger hantavirus outbreak.

Excluding food and energy, the CPI for the year ending in April rose 3.8%, up 2.8 for core CPI. On an annual basis. Both annual readings were higher than forecast. The Iran conflict pushed prices higher, especially for gasoline, jet fuel and diesel fuel. A man has pled guilty to a vehicle break in in Atlanta that police say resulted in the theft of unreleased music by Beyonce.
