Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist and singer Lindsay Buckingham was attacked and covered in an unknown substance by a woman in Santa Monica.

Law enforcement authorities described the woman as a stalking suspect. While the suspect ran away after the attack, she was reportedly identified by police. However, no arrest was made as of Wednesday. Authorities also said that Buckingham is familiar with the woman from prior incidents. A Las Vegas showgirl is suing Taylor Swift, claiming the branding surrounding her album the Life of a Showgirl is too close to her work. Marin Wade says in her federal lawsuit that she began writing a newspaper column called Confessions of a showgirl in 2014 and turned it into a live touring show, and that Swift's team knowingly stepped on her trademark and the popularity of Swift erased her brand.
