Researchers at Mount Sinai found children exposed to acetaminophen during pregnancy may be more likely to develop neurodevelopmental disorders like autism and adhd. But another study from the Journal of the American Medical association in 2024 concluded the opposite, stating using the drug while pregnant was not associated with an increased risk of autism. Ken View, the owner of Tylenol, says in a statement, we believe independent, sound science clearly shows that taking acetaminophen does not cause autism.

Later today, President Trump will go to the United nations, where tomorrow he'll address the General Assembly. And Israel is under more pressure there as the war in Gaza rages.

Stocks are mixed on Wall Street. The dow is dropping 145 points. The S&P 500 is down 3 both off of the record highs Friday. The Nasdaq is up 25 points, adding to Friday's all time high. The price of oil down almost a half dollar, still above 62 bucks a barrel. Gas is unchanged today, keeping AAA's national average for regular $3.18 a gallon, 4 cents more than a month ago, 2 cents less than a year ago. Will banks be sending letters to senators today?

Two of the Senate's most vocal bank critics, progressives Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, have set today as the deadline to answer questions after sending Letters to the CEOs JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and others. They claim the banks are spending billions on stock buybacks and bonuses for top executives after passing a stress test meant to ensure economic stability. The senators would like to see more lending to small businesses and families. Warren Ann Sanders sent a letter back in September and it's unclear if the CEOs plan to respond.
