Guards opened fire and the truck then sped off. DHS says the driver parked the U Haul a few blocks away and was later found with stomach wounds. They are currently being held for a mental health evaluation. A bystander was also treated and released after being struck by a fragment. President Trump did put a surge of federal troops to the Bay Area on hold, but that did not stop protesters.
