West Virginia and Idaho laws banning transgender girls and women from female sports teams do not violate the U.S. constitution's Equal Protection clause. More than two dozen states have similar laws and the court's decision will likely settle disputes in those cases as well. Writing for the majority, Justice Brett Kavanaugh lays out an interest in protecting biological females to ensure competitive fairness. The court's conservative majority joined Kavanaugh. The three liberal justices signed on to an opinion, agreeing in part and dissenting in part with the majority.

A California mother facing charges in connection with her son's e motorcycle crash that killed an elderly man.

51 year old Tommy Jo Major faces charges including involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment. Orange county Prosecutors allege her 14 year old son was illegally riding an E motorcycle in April when he crashed into 81 year old Ed Ashman, a Vietnam War veteran and substitute teacher. Ashman died from his injuries. Officials say they warned Major on body worn camera last year that she could face criminal charges for her son's riding. California Attorney General Rob Bonta recently issuing a consumer alert stressing under state law, two wheeled vehicles that go more than 28 miles per hour with pedal assistance or 20 miles per hour with a throttle are classified as mopeds or motorcycles, which have age restrictions and require a license. There's a massive recall of several ford vehicles.

Nearly 742,000 vehicles need a tweak to clear up the issue with the park system that could allow them to roll away that from federal regulators. The vehicle is equipped with park by wire functionality and 10 R80 transmissions. Lincoln Navigator and Expedition model years 2018 to 2021. Explorer and Lincoln Aviator model years 2020 to 20 F150 pickup trucks model years 2020 to 2021. Drivers will see a wrench warning light on their dashboard and the vehicle's electronic parking brake will also automatically apply if it does not go into park mode when commanded. That from NHTSA.
