Dow futures down almost 400 points the morning after plunging nearly 800amid uncertainty about the economy and future interest rate cuts. Now that the government is back open.

He says Halligan was appointed as interim U.S. attorney in eastern Virginia, and after 120 days, her time was up. Attorney General Pam Bondi appointing her as a special attorney, he argued, was insufficient. An attorney for New York Attorney General Letitia James argued Halligan was a private person when she presented cases to the grand jury. The judge, Cameron Curry, was brought in from South Carolina to hear the case as a neutral party. She asked attorneys for Comey and James if they'd seen the memo written by the prior U.S. attorney about why his office declined to bring charges against Comey and James.
