This is a FOX News alert. The manhunt is over for the suspected Brown University shooter. I'm Dave Anthony. He's dead. And it turns out he did more than murder two students and wound nine others in Saturday's shooting in Providence.

Authorities identify the shooter as Claudio Neves Valente from Portugal. He went to Brown university for a PhD physics program in the early 2000s but never graduated. Before that, he went to school in Lisbon and his classmate was MIT Professor Nuno. Authorities say Nevis Valente murdered his former classmate at his home outside of Boston.

That happened Monday. Fox's Nate Foy was in Salem, New Hampshire, where Valente was found dead in a storage unit. He'd shot himself. Valente came into the US in 2017 through a green card visa lottery that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has put on hold. Posting on X last night. They want to ensure no more Americans are harmed by this disastrous program. The Justice Department's on deadline, mandated by Congress to turn over more files from the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking investigation. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch tells FO this morning they'll turn over hundreds of thousands of items today. And those documents will come in all different forms, photographs and other materials associated with all of the investigations. President Trump will go to Rocky Mountain, North Carolina, tonight to talk up what he says is a strong economy.

The remarks are probably going to echo what he said in his speech to the nation earlier this week. And we might even also see graphs and charts again showing the difference between the price of goods as he continues to relay this message that he's inherited a mess and he's trying to fix.

Federal investigators are North Carolina coming through the wreckage of yesterday's Cessna plane crash in Statesville that went down in flames after some sort of issue on board right after takeoff. Seven people were killed, including retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, his wife and their two kids.

Biffle, who was 55, was named the 1998 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year and won the 2000 series championship. In the Xfinity series, Biffle won the 2001 Rookie of the Year and the 2002 championship, becoming the first driver to win championships in both the Xfinity and Truck series. He spent 14 full time seasons competing in the Cup Series and while he failed to win a championship, he earned 19 victories and 515 starts while finishing in the top 10 of the standings six times.
