The president also revealed the US has been taking out millions of barrels of oil from Iran after the consumer price index rose to more than 4% year over year last month. President Trump is downplaying inflation worries.

The lawyer for Carmelo Anthony, the Texas teen convicted of murdering a fellow teen at a track meet in Frisco, Texas, last year, says he will appeal.

The jury sentenced Carmelo Anthony to 35 years behind bars for fatally stabbing 17 year old Austin Metcalf during a high school track meet. Both the DA and lead prosecutor told me they were satisfied with the sentence even though Anthony faced up to 99 years behind bars. They also said that they were prepared for Anthony to take the stand and they hope that he would.

Prosecutors had accused Anthony of trying to provoke Metcalf after being asked to leave Metcalfe's team's tent multiple times. Carmelo Anthony will have to serve a minimum of half his sentence.
