He'll become the first Muslim mayor of the city and its youngest in more than a century, defeating former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who ran as an independent. So it comes down to these younger voters in New York City saying they don't care about the Democratic establishment. They reject a moderate Democrat like Cuomo and tell me they'd rather go with somebody who's new. Fox's Alexis McAdams in Brooklyn. In New Jersey, Democrat Mikey Sherrill is elected governor. U.S. marshals said he was living under the alias Justin Phillips in New York, while a spokesperson for the State University of New York at Canton confirmed that a student enrolled under the name Justin Phillips was arrested last week.
