As I get ready to wrap up the third season of FredTalx, I leave you with this gift- a bonus episode. This episode was taken from a panel I participated on, along with three other Black men, hosted by Jessica (of Jess Talks). I enjoyed meeting these brothas and being a part of my sister's show. Listen in as we confirm, debunk and wrestle with some ideas projected onto Black Men. *of course, the ideas presented in this episode are not the full representation of Black Male Thought; these are OUR own thoughts and you'll notice that even among us panelist, we don't 100% with each position held by another brother. We understand we are not a monolith and leave space for diversity of thought.

In this second episode in the BREAUX Capital Series, I continue the conversation with Ras who keeps it all the way one hunnid. This episode is replete with bars too! Yo! It's my pleasure to share this conversation AND this organization with you all. In this episode (which is the first installment of the BREAUX Capital series), I chop it up with serial entrepreneur and BREAUX Capital Co-founder, Ras Asan. In this first episode, we're just vibin' and warming up. You'll hear that it has that barbershop conversational vibe...or that front porch drinking lemonade vibe but the BARS are laced throughout. Be sure to stay with us so you can pick up what we're laying down. BREAUX Capital is the first financial technology startup designed for Black Millennials. "Finding Your Purpose" is a topic that has been addressed over and over again. There have been conferences, books and volumes of other types of work performed in an attempt to help people crystallize and realize their purpose. It's only right that I chime in as well. In this episode I caution against being too rigid and narrow in our understanding of our purpose as our purpose is more dynamic than static. Take a listen. Yoooo! I have a confession. This was supposed to be published as the first episode for this season. For some reason, the schedule got mixed up BUT being that this is half time (6 months in), all the principles are just as relevant. Forgive my tardiness. In this episode, we disrupt the grind to make sure we have properly assessed how much ground we've already covered. This will help to ensure we don't faint along the way. We might be surprised to discover we may ALREADY be where we are going. Enjoy. I'm willing to bet a vegan cheeseburger y'all ain't heard too many pastors keep it all the way "one hunnid" with you like my sister, Shaunee Brannan. The previous episodes were a build up to this episode. Y'all...THIS is the one. If you haven't discerned it already, this episode will highlight Shaunee's inner strength and her heart for God and people. Because of the experiences she has persevered through, she is able to meet women at whatever station they are at, walk with them and give them a nudge to get to where God would have them arrive.
