Az Fudd
Hey guys. Welcome back to another episode of FUD around and find out. I'm here with my girl Ashanti.
Ashanti Plummer
Hey guys. So today we have Ask Me Anything AKA Ask a Anything episode.
Az Fudd
So we got Ask Us Anything period.
Ashanti Plummer
Okay Ask Us Anything episode. And so we have a couple great questions from the listeners and the fans. So let's jump right into it. So our first topics are my personal favorite. It's about fashion and I know you love it too. So as a tall girl, where are your favorite places to get clothes?
Az Fudd
Some of my favorite places to get clothes would be American Eagle because they have tall girl jeans. The mall closest to campus has garage and cotton on. So those are my go to there. But then I don't love shopping but when I'm online I'm more of like a skims. I like mesh keys has cute stuff. Aldo. If I'm looking for like cuter shoes, honor the gift. I'm kind of just all over the place.
What are your go to places? You're actually a tall girl. So where do you shop?
Ashanti Plummer
I like Akira. My favorite is actually in Miami location in Miami, but we also have one here in New York. I like asos. I like fashion Nova. Now I know people are against fast fashion. However I need something to touch my ankles, you know what I'm saying? So. And I also like thrifting. You will be surprised the things that you get and a lot of people repurpose things and make things longer for girlies like us.
Az Fudd
And so I really want to go thrifting. Are you going thrifting with me?
Ashanti Plummer
Yes, absolutely. Especially in New York on oh my goodness. People get like give away like their nice, nice clothing and I guess it's just like it's been sitting there or they have a lot. So definitely we can definitely go thrifting for sure.
Az Fudd
Okay.
Ashanti Plummer
So you mentioned Aldo, one of your favorite shoe places. Are there any other shoe places you like especially for us who have you know, 11 plus size feet?
Az Fudd
I feel like they have the most options. I have a couple heels from Steve Madden but like those are, those are my go to. Yeah, I'm really just a running shoe girl.
Ashanti Plummer
That's good though. Steve Madden definitely comes in clutch. They usually have like a cute heel or boot. Akira. Once again, Akira. Just call me. But they also have larger shoe sizes and then I'm like a sneaker girl too. So can't go wrong with some like Jordans or something like that.
Az Fudd
Oh yeah, I've got 100 pairs of babes.
Ashanti Plummer
Do you have a lot of custom clothing or do you get your things tailored?
Az Fudd
No, no, I'm really low maintenance. Even if it doesn't fit right, I'm still going to wear it because what do I look like spending my time going to get it tailored and I don't have enough energy and patience for that.
Ashanti Plummer
It's okay. You could listen right off the rack. If it works, it works. And who's going to tell you otherwise? It's whatever makes you.
Az Fudd
I wear it long, I'll wear it short, I'll wear it wrinkled.
Ashanti Plummer
Yo, heavy on. Wear it wrinkle. My mom anytime. She used to be like iron steam your clothes. I'm like, I don't care. I don't care. I'm just gonna wear it. It's a new trend now.
Az Fudd
My mom was the I don't care. So I didn't grow up learning how to iron. I think I ironed my first shirt this summer for Paige, and then it was actually like, a shirt that she wore under a jacket. So she made me iron her white shirt just for the shirt to not even be seen.
Ashanti Plummer
Wow.
Az Fudd
And that might be my one and only time ironing.
Ashanti Plummer
It's okay. Steamer is the way to go now. Anyways, we gonna work on that. But so I saw a video online. You got a custom, like, Paige jersey fit. Tell us about that. That was fire.
Az Fudd
Yeah. So Kristin Juszczyk actually made me that custom Paige outfit. The halter top with the jeans. It's super cute. I actually think she just came out with a whole collection, a new collection, which I had a couple friends who knew about her brand and told me to reach out and talked about kind of her story and how she started, like, making her own stuff for her husband's football games and was making it for other wags on the team. And I thought that's really cool that she started as just like a little in home, making it for her friends, for the girlies, and now she has a whole business, and I think that's just incredible. But she is so talented. So it's. I'm so excited to hopefully wear that soon. Oh, yeah.
Ashanti Plummer
Shout out. Kristin. Listen, I need a custom AZ so I can show up to the games representing properly. Thank you.
Az Fudd
If you pulled up to gamble in a custom AZ outfit.
Ashanti Plummer
You think I won't?
Az Fudd
I know. I don't know why I said that, because I know you will. I'm gonna lose it.
Ashanti Plummer
Absolutely. Girl, I get your face right here.
Az Fudd
Oh, no.
Ashanti Plummer
Put around, find out. Number 35, don't play. I'll be representing at the games.
Az Fudd
I don't know if I'm excited or scared.
Ashanti Plummer
Both.
Are there any other customs or people you want to collaborate with when it comes to clothes?
Az Fudd
There definitely are. I feel like with fashion, it's just so, like, you can do whatever you want. So I feel like I want to test so many things out. Obviously, in college, I feel like just I'm so busy, and I mean, I have nowhere to go. We don't do pre game fits, tunnel fits, anything like that. So I don't have any reason to, you know, put on a fit show out. So I feel like next year I'm really excited to kind of experiment with just a lot of different things and see What I like, what I gravitate towards to, but I feel like it's a very, like, it's a learning experience. You gotta try things to learn what your style is and what you're comfortable in.
Ashanti Plummer
Absolutely. Well, I'm excited to see for this upcoming style season what you end up landing on because like I said before, I haven't seen you in anything bad ever.
Az Fudd
So thank you.
Ashanti Plummer
You be putting that thing on and honestly, it's whatever makes you feel good. Like you mentioned, like, who cares whether they like it or not, as long as you like it and you get to experiment with what works best for you.
So if you were going to make a fashion line, what trends and styles would you want to see?
Az Fudd
I feel like I'm really, I love a good crop, but I'm really into like a halter or like, I love like my collarbones, like my shoulders. I love letting this show. Like, I hate, I hate turtlenecks. I don't love long sleeves because they're always too tight on my arms.
Ashanti Plummer
Okay.
Az Fudd
Games.
So definitely it'd be more of like crop, halter top, tank top, that kind of thing. Oriented in my miniskirt era. Even though it's like fall now and you can't really wear mini skirt and fall, there'd be some mini skirts.
Ashanti Plummer
You could put some tights under it if you, if you're good with tights, you could still rock a mini skirt in the fall. Boom.
Az Fudd
Okay.
Ashanti Plummer
I don't think I've worn tight since middle school, but.
Get some flesh colored thick ones. You're not even going to know that you have them on.
Az Fudd
Okay. And my go to is like a baggy sweatpant and a crop. So definitely some cute. Like, what are they? Like just like loose sweatpants? Like not joggers. Not joggers.
Ashanti Plummer
No to the joggers. Pack them up.
Az Fudd
Mm. Mm. Leave those in high school.
Ashanti Plummer
So if you could pick any WNBA player to style you for a week, who would it be and why?
Az Fudd
I'm picking Paige. She's.
Ashanti Plummer
I.
Az Fudd
She knows what I like to wear and I could honestly just go in her closet and dress myself. Actually, I wouldn't do that. I would still make her dress me. But she has great style and she's someone that like other players, they dress really well, but I don't know if it's really them or their stylist or Paige. She doesn't need a stylist. She could dress herself for the rest of her life and be set.
Ashanti Plummer
That's a good point. That is a good point what I immediately think of and she's not in the wnba but Teyana Taylor, she's always been fly. Like I'm sure people have styled her. I know that for a fact. But I remember watching her when she had like a sweet 16 on like TV when my super sweet 16 was super popular. And just even from then, her own personal style has always been like out there. She's from Harlem. And you know, I'm also from Harlem. So I was, I always looked up to her when it comes to her personal style and I know that she can make something out of anything in the wnba. I really like. I love when the tall, you know, girly girls pop out the tall baddies. So like Ray Burrell, Angel Rhys. I also love a more tomboy style as well.
Az Fudd
Yeah.
Ashanti Plummer
So if people from the Dove style meeting, it'd be them or their stylist. Whoever, whoever. Whoever they work with need that, need that.

Okay, so let's pivot into some basketball questions from the fans. The first one is, do you think basketball is an art form?
Az Fudd
I do think basketball is an art form. I feel like it's a way to express yourself and I feel like that's what art is all about. Yeah, express yourself, show your love and your passion for the game. I definitely think basketball is an art. Do you think so?
Ashanti Plummer
Absolutely. I think, you know, it's like you mentioned a way to express yourself. It's kind of like a dance. There's like a rhythm to the game and I. And yeah, the way one person plays it. No people play it exactly the same. So it definitely is an art form to me. Okay, our next question. What kind of team building exercises do you and your teammates do off the court?
Az Fudd
Team building exercises? I Feel like we just hang out all the time. We live together. We're always. When you get home from practice, there's always. Whether it's a movie night, a game night, just hanging out, recapping your day and workouts and how hard things were. We're always together by choice, so I feel like that's when we really bond outside of practice and on the court. But CD does. She has CD games, so she. She is so creative. I. Or she just watches way too much TikTok and Instagram Reels. Who knows? I think it's a combination of both. But she'll come up with the most random games, and everything always has a theme. So if it's. It'll be Christmas related, you know, Thanksgiving, whatever, holiday related, or it'll be. I don't know. But she'll split us up in teams, and it will be like the Olympics last summer. We had the Olympic Games over the summer, and so there was like, we had these little, like, met or, like, suction cup dart games. We had water Olympics outside on the turf, and there was like, a slip and slide and water balloons, and it was just all these. She comes up with all these games, and we'll play those, and they get super competitive. Even though sometimes people are like, oh, we don't want to play these games. At the end of the day, they're always competitive. You always want to win. But those games are so much fun, and those definitely, you know, bring us together and make us fight.
Ashanti Plummer
That sounds so fun. First of all, I love a theme. Next, it sounds like the CD Olympics. Like that. That's amazing and definitely is a way to build trust and camaraderie outside of basketball.
Az Fudd
So.
Ashanti Plummer
Yeah. That's awesome. Another question we have is, do you think it's important for teammates on a great team to like each other?
Az Fudd
Of course. I definitely think it's important.
Ashanti Plummer
I mean.
Az Fudd
I mean, I'm. I think I'm biased. I think I've been super lucky and super blessed to have been on teams where we've always liked each other, and it's never been an issue. There's never been drama or jealousy or anything that's gotten in between us. So I've never really had to deal with being on a team of people who don't get, like, genuinely get along. But I definitely think that makes, you know, your bond on the court stronger. When you genuinely love your teammates and you trust them and, you know, like, the. These are your ride or dies, like, you're gonna run through a wall for them and they'll run for a wall for you and that makes, you know, what you do on the court even more special.
Ashanti Plummer
I love that.
Az Fudd
Did you have.
Ashanti Plummer
I actually have been lucky enough where it. We've had drama on some of the teams, but I haven't always been like, directly involved, which is really nice, like when it's not involving you specifically. But sometimes it can impact the team chemistry. If you guys are not all, you know, doing your best. But I think that you can still have some success if you guys have a focus of the same goal. And even if you don't necessarily like each other, you can work together to achieve that goal. And you're making sure that whatever the situation is isn't bigger than the main thing.
Az Fudd
Right.
Ashanti Plummer
So if it's winning a championship or winning a conference or winning a game.
Az Fudd
Right.
Ashanti Plummer
Letting that be the focus and not letting the petty stuff or the drama get in the way. So, yeah, I would prefer to be on a team where people, you know, genuinely like each other, but if not, at least we're all focused on the goal of whatever we're trying to achieve.
Az Fudd
Yeah. Yeah. I feel like, like I said, I'm super lucky and I. But I feel like it's rare to be in a situation like that. Like when you're with a girl of, in a group of girls, women, 12 to 15 of them, it's rare that you're going to find a group that everyone gets along. But if you're mature enough to know at the end of the day, you guys are working for the same goal and put your off court disagreements and views aside. Like when you're on the court, you only have one common goal and you work towards that and it's fine, but can't bring that stuff on the court.
Ashanti Plummer
Come on, leader.
If you could have a do over of one moment in your basketball career, what would it be?
Az Fudd
I wouldn't do anything differently because I don't believe in everything happens for a reason, so.
Ashanti Plummer
Agree.
Az Fudd
I really, I really strongly believe that everything happens for a reason and everything is an opportunity to learn from. But I think I do. Over my entire freshman year, I'd be the redo the whole thing.
Ashanti Plummer
Let's just run that back, run that back, run that back.
Az Fudd
But like, I don't really think I would because I definitely learned a lot from that year of what not to do, how not to play, how not to act. But that. What about you?
Ashanti Plummer
Um, I. I'm in alignment with you when it comes to. I think everything happens for a reason. Who knows? One different situation. And we wouldn't be here to do this pod together. But seriously. Yeah, I think that I wouldn't do anything over. There are things, horrible things. Like, you know, we both tore our ACLs and stuff like that. Like, of course we wish that didn't happen. However it led to you being a National champion and Most outstanding player, you know what I mean? It's led to a lot of amazing accomplishments and connections that I have and job opportunities that I have now. So really thankful. Even though it's not always, you know, pretty imperfect.
Az Fudd
Definitely not always pretty imperfect.
Ashanti Plummer
Okay, favorite moment so far from the 2025, 2026.
Az Fudd
Hmm.
Ashanti Plummer
It can be anything. Doesn't have to be basketball. I know you guys spend a lot of time off the court bonding as well. I know my favorite moments is watching y' all on TikTok. Y' all be killing me. I literally cackle out loud when I see y' all videos. Y' all are funny.
Az Fudd
I think one of my favorite moments was this summer. We went to our doctor's house, and she has a lake house and she's a boat. And we went to go or I. A few of us went wake surfing. But just being on the water, it was a beautiful day. Paddleboarding, just lounging on floaties. Gandy has a camera, so she was taking photos. It was just a chill day, relaxing day off the court outside of our usual environment on campus, in the apartment. So it was just. It was a chill day, but it was filled with good memories.
Ashanti Plummer
One of our listeners asked, is this season the most confident you've ever felt about yourself?
Az Fudd
Yeah, going into a season, this is the most confident I felt in the five years I've been here. So that's a good sign.
Ashanti Plummer
I can't wait to see what happens. If you could build your perfect basketball player, what athlete traits would you choose?
Az Fudd
Hmm. Do I have, like, a limit of traits that I can use?
Ashanti Plummer
Nope, no limit.
Az Fudd
Okay, I'm gonna go with. We're gonna start with. They're gonna be discipline.
Ashanti Plummer
Great.
Az Fudd
A great three point shot, a great pull up.
Ashanti Plummer
Come on, shooter.
Az Fudd
Great passer. Like, how many things can I say? Am I just gonna say all the great things about basketball?
Ashanti Plummer
I mean, if I had to build.
Az Fudd
My basketball player, I would lockdown defender.
Ashanti Plummer
Like the ultimate hoopa. Mentally tough.
Az Fudd
Yeah, mentally tough. Can move off the ball. Good screener, high iq, high iq, rebounding.
I'll leave that to Ashanti.
Ashanti Plummer
I'm crying. I'm crying. Leave that to your big man. Okay. If you were on a three on three Team, what players would you pick to play with you?
Az Fudd
I'm picking Sarah Strong. There's just any players I want. Yeah. All right, I'm going Sarah Strong. So I'm picking three. I'm picking four. With the sub.
Ashanti Plummer
Let's say. Let's say you're picking with the sub.
Az Fudd
Okay, I'm going Sarah Strong. Me. Paige Beckers. Kk.
Ashanti Plummer
Aw, let me pick my team. Maya Moore.
Sue Bird. Brianna Stewart. Me.
Az Fudd
That's a pretty good team.
Ashanti Plummer
I'm be cheering. Go to Go Go.
Y' all need water towels.
Come on now. Okay. If you could create your own WNBA team. Oh my goodness. Who would your starting five be and what would the team name be?
Az Fudd
Guys are overestimating my creativity. My on the spot creativity.
Okay, my starting five, it's gonna be.
Paige, Nafisa. Stewie. Are you thinking about yours while I'm. While I'm doing mine?
Ashanti Plummer
Oh, don't clock me.
Az Fudd
Okay, good. Start thinking. You should usually go first with these because I need an extra second to.
Ashanti Plummer
Think if I go first. I'm taking your players. Nafiza coming with me. Paige coming with me. You coming with me?
Az Fudd
Paige. Paige, Nafisa, Stewie. Okay, I need a point guard. Caitlyn Chen.
Ashanti Plummer
Cute.
Little Yukon reunion.
Az Fudd
And we're gonna add. We're gonna add Tina Charles.
Ashanti Plummer
Oh, okay. Solid.
Az Fudd
And your team. I know what our team name is.
Ashanti Plummer
How about yeah, you know me. Anything with fashion.
Az Fudd
All right. I'm thinking about my team name while.
Ashanti Plummer
You come with my team name.
Az Fudd
Your team? Yeah.
Ashanti Plummer
Okay.
My team. And we want to win. I'm getting everyone out of retirement. Like my previous three on three team. I'm coming with Maya Moore.
Dt. Sue Bird. I'mma pick up. Were you on your own team?
Az Fudd
No, I thought we were doing current players.
Ashanti Plummer
Nah, nah, nah. I'm picking up.
Az Fudd
Just do whatever you want to do.
Ashanti Plummer
I'm picking up azfut. Yeah. My sharpshooter. I don't know who my fifth person would be. You, girl. No.
You ain't gonna have me out there running back and forth. No, ma'. Am. Those days are over. My fifth person is going to be whoever want to try out. No, I'm just kidding. You had a team name. And I'll say my last player.
Az Fudd
My team name is gonna be God.
Okay, they're all UConn players. It's gonna be old skis. The old Huskies.
Ashanti Plummer
Oh, okay. I have to say old Skis. Yo. That's funny. Old Skis. My team name is gonna be Curly sue. Just cause I can.
Az Fudd
I thought you were gonna hit us with a Renee. Curly Sue Labu.
Ashanti Plummer
Boo. A Ladudoo.
Basketball Lulu Player. Doo Doo. That's my team name. And my fifth and final player will be.
What's the girl who is a bayla who's like 6 9? She plays on like Brittany Griner. There you go. My goodness, I cannot think of her name. Okay, my fifth player will be Brittney Griner.
Az Fudd
Perfect. Perfect.
Ashanti Plummer
She's standing right in the middle.
Az Fudd
But hands up, Swat it all.

Okay, so we are now going to talk about some life questions. They're general questions. The first one is how do you stay locked in when you're doubting yourself?
Az Fudd
That's a great question. And that is still something that I'm working on. And I worked a lot on last season. Like, if it's in the moment, well, before games, I would make, like, I'd go in my notes and I would make like a, I guess a list. I would do, like, affirmations or things that I wanted to focus on that game. I find when I'm focused on, you know, my teammates, then it makes it harder for me to focus on, like, oh, I just missed that shot. Oh, I'm not playing well. Oh, like, focus on myself. When I'm focused on, like, oh, KK just made a great pass. Sarah made this amazing shot. Ice just did this. Then it takes, you know, my. My focus off myself and then, like, on what everyone else is doing. And then I'm not worrying about myself that in the moment. But I also think, like, writing that list of, like, affirmations, like, I'M gonna play well. I'm good at this. I know how to do this. I believe in myself. Little things like that. I think that self talk is such a powerful tool. And naturally, at least for me, naturally, it's easy for me to be like, to judge myself instead of, you know, just observe. Instead of being like, oh, I missed this shot. I need to hold my follow through. Sometimes it's like, oh, I missed this shot. I'm done shooting today. Like those illogical things you tell yourself, but, like, they really go a long way. So trying to really be intentional about my self talk and what I say to myself and then focusing on my teammates to kind of take my attention.
Ashanti Plummer
Away from myself as well, that's really good and selfless.
Az Fudd
What do you do?
Ashanti Plummer
If I start to doubt myself? I pray. I journal. I take time to meditate, to figure out, like, where is this bad feeling coming from? Like, don't you know who you are, girl? And you're not here by, you know, mistakes. So I just remind myself that, you know, of my purpose and it recenters me. So that's what I do. If I ever start down to myself, I'm like, oh, girl, look in the mirror.
Az Fudd
I love that.
Ashanti Plummer
What would you title this chapter of your life? That feels like such a deep question. So good. Good job, listeners.
Az Fudd
There's so many different ways I could go with this. Okay. Like last year I was asked this question and I said the chapter would be titled Staying present right now. I would say the chapter that I'm in would be, I'd say finding my purpose.
Ashanti Plummer
That's really good. Indeed.
Az Fudd
What chapter are you in right now?
Ashanti Plummer
This chapter is Steward. Well, so the things that I have in all different aspects of my life, I'm trying to make sure that I show up and give 100% and take care of all the things that I've been, you know, given or earned. So, Stuart.
Az Fudd
Well, Stuart.
Ashanti Plummer
Well, next question is something you believe everyone should try once in their life.
Az Fudd
Pineapple on pizza, cottage cheese.
What else can I say?
Ashanti Plummer
No, that's valid. If that's what you feel, then that's what you feel. What should they try once in their life? They should leave their home country. Everyone should leave their home country. Get outside of the United States if this is where you are. Get outside of Jamaica if that's where you are. Travel. I know some people are luckier than others, but if it means beating your feet, getting on the train, do whatever you gotta do, I advise everyone to try to get out their country.
Az Fudd
I definitely agree.
Ashanti Plummer
With that, what's something you've always been afraid to try but have always wanted to?
Az Fudd
I mean, there are lots of things that I am afraid to try. I definitely am shy and care too much about what other people think. I'm trying to work on that. But if like we're in public, there's no way I'm just going to go put myself out there in a lot of situations. So there's a lot of things like that that I wish I could just, you know, be carefree and just go do whatever I feel. I'm trying to think of a specific example.
Ashanti Plummer
I don't know.
Az Fudd
Okay, you go first.
Ashanti Plummer
Something I've always wanted to try but been afraid to. I immediately go to food.
A lot of people eat like very interesting cuisines. And one of the things I saw was like a chocolate cricket.
And I'm not really. I don't really experiment too much when it comes to eating. Like I can try a bunch of different things, but they have to like. Like I could try pineapple on pizza, even though I have my.
Az Fudd
Yeah, bugs is a whole different level.
Ashanti Plummer
But I wanna, I'm afraid, but I wanna try something crazy like that. But in like where it makes sense. Like, not like go catch a cricket, put it in chocolate, more like people actually sell that in other countries and stuff like that. So like a cuisine that a cow.
Az Fudd
Tongue, goat testicles.
Chicken feet. Have you had chicken feet?
Ashanti Plummer
Oh, you know what?
Az Fudd
I was too scared to try that.
Ashanti Plummer
Chicken feet, that's like, you know, a Southern black delicacy. And I have family members in the south who make that. But I ain't eat it. And you know what? Maybe that's on my list because I'm definitely afraid it'd be looking at me like this. If you're listening, I got my hand crunched up like I'm holding a soccer ball with my fingertips.
Az Fudd
So.
Ashanti Plummer
Yeah. If you found out that your current life has only been a dream, would you choose to wake up or stay in? Okay, listeners, great question.
Az Fudd
I mean, obviously I'm gonna wake up so I can live my real life. I'm just gonna hope that when I go back to sleep I continue on with this dream because it's incredible.
Ashanti Plummer
That's great. Yeah, I'm the same. I wanna know what's actually happening. But I. This is a really great dream. So I hope we can tap back in.
Az Fudd
Yeah, no, take some notes from the dream. Apply it to my real life.
Ashanti Plummer
Right. Where am I actually? So we can get to the dream.
Az Fudd
Exactly.
Ashanti Plummer
If you can open up your own restaurant. What would be on the menu? Pick an item for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Az Fudd
Do you want to go first? Yeah. Actually not. Do you? Please go first. Give me a second to think.
Ashanti Plummer
Okay, I got you. So my breakfast, lunch, and dinner will all be breakfast at my restaurant. And for breakfast, we're gonna do a large pancake. You ever. You ever been a golden diner in New York? It's like, go on, TikTok, girl. It is amazing. It's a big, fluffy, delicious pancake. So I would have something like that for breakfast with a side of protein. But I don't eat meat. I'm a pescatarian. So I would do, like, a beyond sausage or beyond bacon vibe. Oh, excuse me, man, she gave me a look.
So that's what my breakfast would be. My lunch would be a sandwich. So, like, fake bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant, and hash browns. Oof. Would go so crazy. And then my dinner would be a salmon, like, croquette, like, little salmon bites with probably, like, eggs and more fake meat. How about you?
Az Fudd
Fake meat is killing me. Okay, for breakfast, we're gonna have breakfast. Okay, for breakfast, we're gonna have. We're gonna have cottage cheese, scrambled eggs with chicken, apple sausage.
It's gonna be some avocado. You know, on the side you're gonna have piece of toast, and you're gonna have mashed berries as your jam. Not, like, you know, the fake stuff with all the extra added sugar.
Ashanti Plummer
Come on.
Az Fudd
So that's for breakfast. And then you're also gonna have your option if you want coffee or tea on the side with that or fresh juice. Those are your options. Yes.
For lunch, we're gonna have. Oh, I just came up with a better idea. Okay, for lunch, we're gonna have. It's gonna be a quinoa. Like, it's gonna be, like, a salad grain bowl. Greens and grain bowl. So we're gonna have. It's gonna be quinoa, mixed greens, and. Oh, I forgot. For breakfast, you're also gonna have sauteed spinach on the side because you need some greens in there. Now, for lunch, your quinoa grain bowl or your greens and grain bowl. You're gonna have quinoa mixed greens, scoop of cottage cheese for some extra protein.
Ashanti Plummer
Where are the cottage cheese brands? Because at this point, sponsor her, please.
Az Fudd
Some chicken. You know, like, nicely seasoned chicken chopped up.
And then it'll be, like, not Chipotle, but, like, you'll have your option to add, like, if you. You want some, like, tomatoes, some cherry tomatoes, if you want onions, if you want corn, if you want more avocado, like, we're gonna leave that up to you. But all of those are available as options. And it's gonna be a nice little. The dressing is gonna be like, fresh olive oil and this mango vinaigrette for dinner.
Ashanti Plummer
Oh, my goodness.
Az Fudd
We're gonna have steak, sweet potatoes, and.
Grilled veggies. Because that sounds really good right now.
Ashanti Plummer
This could be like a legit restaurant. Hold on. I'm like, breakfast all day. And she's like, let me feel your body. Let me give you some options here. No, that sounds great. We gotta get you a menu. Where those Connecticut restaurants at? We gotta get the AZ menu. I love that.
Az Fudd
Oh, wait. I made cottage cheese cookies this weekend.
Ashanti Plummer
That is something I'm. Wait.
Az Fudd
Actually, I've been doing a lot of baking these last few days. I made cottage cheese cookies a couple days ago. Better than you would think. And then last night, KK and I baked these banana brownies again, actually, pretty good. And then I also made these honey chocolate chip cookies, which, like, probably only I will eat them because they're not, like, you know, the rest of my teammates, a little pickier. But the brownies, really good. And no refined sugar. Only honey or maple syrup in all of them. And the chocolate chip cookies or in the chocolate chips. But I need to. I want to bake you something and make you try it.
Ashanti Plummer
No. Yeah, I would love it. I wouldn't. I feel like all these snacks that you can, like, make, like a little, I don't know, like a. In season, go to menu. Like, I love this. All your baked goods and your meals.
Az Fudd
I'm trying to write it all down so I can keep track.
Ashanti Plummer
No, please do. Or just keep saying it on the pod and we'll just paste it together at the end of the year.
Az Fudd
Just clip it all together.
Ashanti Plummer
Yeah. Somebody. Somebody will do it. We love you, team. Our next question is. This will make me laugh.
Az Fudd
Do you believe in aliens 100%. Like you're telling me in this galaxy, in this entire Milky Way galaxy, I don't even know which one's bigger. I think galaxy's bigger. Milky Way is the galaxy where. I don't know. Regardless, there are definitely other living creatures on other planets. There's no way that we are the only living beings.
Ashanti Plummer
I'm in agreeance. There's something out there.
Az Fudd
There are.
Ashanti Plummer
And some of their relatives are walking to Earth with us. Do you think that any of the aliens have contacted us?
Az Fudd
You know what? Yeah, probably. And I'm sure it just. As, you know, dumb humans. It just went right over our head, and we didn't even realize. You think that there are aliens walking among us right now?
Ashanti Plummer
Yes.
Az Fudd
Okay.
Ashanti Plummer
Yep. Mm. There's some aliens I've seen on the subway coming here today.
Az Fudd
Oh, there's definitely. If there are aliens among us, they're definitely in New York. 100%.
Ashanti Plummer
They're in New York every day.
Az Fudd
Okay.
Ashanti Plummer
As someone who is a student of business, is there a company whose business model inspires you?
Az Fudd
Yes, I. Madison Reed. Their. Their business model, their company that inspires me. Their values. Wanting to put out the best products, not just the best, you know, like, oh, we've got the best hair color. We got the best this. But, like, the best quality, the best product for you, for your body, for their customers, but then also just their values and their beliefs, how they want to empower women, how they want you to leave their color bars feeling confident and beautiful. And then it's like the little things that you might not know about their company that, you know, like, they pay their hair colorists a bigger percentage than I think, like, any other color bar in salon. So just the way that they run their business and that they're trying to empower their customers, their employees, everything, I love that. And I think that other businesses need to step up because they show that it is possible to be successful, be empowering, be inspiring. So I think it's really impressive.
Ashanti Plummer
Yeah, for sure. Come on, step it up. Treat your customers well and your employees. If you weren't a student athlete and had time to do an internship, where would you want to do it?
Az Fudd
I'm actually doing an internship for class credit next semester with Madison Reed, and I'm really excited to do that.
Ashanti Plummer
Perfect.
Az Fudd
So, yeah, it should be fun. I am actually really excited. I feel like sometimes classes, at least for me being in business, like, the classes, I learn a lot. But most of the time, when you get your mba, like, you're years into having a real. Like, everyone I'm in class with has years of experience in whatever industry they're in under their belt, and they're going in to, like, master their craft. Like, I have no idea what it's truly like in the business world. So being able to, like, apply a little bit of what I'm learning to some real world stuff I'm excited for.
Ashanti Plummer
Yeah. And especially with a wonderful company like Madison Reed.
Az Fudd
Were you able. Ever able to do internships when you were applying?
Ashanti Plummer
I did. It is, but I had to to graduate.
And so I actually Interned at this place called Hurricane Alley, and I was a marketing intern there. So we just worked on, you know, promotion stuff, and that was interesting. It was at a. Hurricane Alley is a. Like, a water park, so. Oh, it was.
Az Fudd
I was gonna get bowling.
Ashanti Plummer
No.
Oh, my goodness.
Strike here.
No. So it's a water park, and that was interesting. I never had a job before then, and so that was different. Not as far as, like, showing up on time. Cause you learned that in practice and all that kind of stuff. A lot of things actually transfer over from basketball into the workforce, but it was really different. Like, you know, being in an office every day. At that moment, I realized I need to do things where I'm able to move around. So I learned a lot from that internship. But, yeah, that was crazy. All right, our last question. If you could take over any company tomorrow, what would it be, and what would you do differently? Don't say Madison Reed.
Az Fudd
No, I can't take Amy's job. She's too good at it.
Okay, wait, this is a good question. I've never thought about this before. If I could take over any company, I'm taking over Good Culture Cottage cheese and sending it to a free cottage cheese to everyone.
Ashanti Plummer
You know what? That is really on par. Azfud.
Yes. Yes.
Az Fudd
Shanti, you have to answer.
Ashanti Plummer
If I could take over any company tomorrow, I would take over Amazon. Actually, I would take over Sephora, Ulta, Amazon. All these places so I can get it for free. And to pay their employees more.
Az Fudd
I like the sound of that.
Ashanti Plummer
Yep.
Az Fudd
I'll also pay my employees more. Like more cottage cheese.
Ashanti Plummer
Happy employees create productive employees.
Az Fudd
Now it's time for FUD and games. Ashanti, what games do we have today?
Ashanti Plummer
So we're gonna play. What are the odds on a scale of 1 through 10, what are the odds of these things happening? First one. What are the odds that UConn wins the Big East?
Az Fudd
10 period.
Ashanti Plummer
What are the odds you get time to take a vacation this year?
Az Fudd
This year? As in, like, the calendar year? Like the end of 2020 5. End of 20? 23. 6.
Ashanti Plummer
Let's say you get till June or.
Az Fudd
Like, from here until next September or whatever month this is.
Ashanti Plummer
You get till June. End. End of or April? End of the season, Will you get a vacation?
Az Fudd
We're adding zero to the scale, and the answer is zero.
Ashanti Plummer
Okay. What are the odds you read ten books during the basketball season?
Az Fudd
Ten. Zero.
Ashanti Plummer
Ten of them.
Az Fudd
Things like three. Three. Okay. No, my answer is zero. My answer is zero. There's no way I'm doing That.
Ashanti Plummer
Oh, zero.
Az Fudd
I'm saying maybe like three books. Ten? Impossible.
Ashanti Plummer
Okay, so might get three books, but.
Az Fudd
The odds are zero.
Ashanti Plummer
What are the odds that Tim and Jose could beat you and your mom in a two on two?
Az Fudd
Negative ten. Not a chance.
Ashanti Plummer
Okay, but what would the score be?
Az Fudd
They can even have John on their team.
What are we playing to? 11.
Ashanti Plummer
Yeah, we're playing to 11. What are they. You heard it here. 11. 3. Y' all better get into practice, brothers. What are the odds that Tupac is still alive?
Az Fudd
I give that one like a four.
Ashanti Plummer
Okay. Anything happened? Okay, so that's the end of what are the odds? We're moving on to another game. It's UConn. Superlatives. Ready? Mm. Best dressed.
Az Fudd
Ayanna.
Ashanti Plummer
Mm. Okay. Most likely to be late to practice.
Az Fudd
Kelis.
Ashanti Plummer
Poor baby. Most likely to be president.
Az Fudd
Ashlyn Shade.
Ashanti Plummer
Most likely to go viral.
Az Fudd
Kk.
Ashanti Plummer
Mm. Most likely to win a reality show.
Az Fudd
Ooh, Also kk.
Ashanti Plummer
Most likely to end up in jail.
Az Fudd
Um, yeah, probably Kelis. I'm gonna put her in jail myself.
Ashanti Plummer
Most likely to laugh at their own jokes.
Az Fudd
Morgan Shelley.
Ashanti Plummer
Most likely to win at trivia.
Az Fudd
Gandy.
Ashanti Plummer
All right, that's a wrap, everyone.
