Completely unfiltered.
A
Grow your business, grow your life. Now here's your host, Brian Fullerton.
B
Ms. Britt, can you see Liz?
C
I can see Liz.
B
There you go. There you go.
D
I have a lag in mine so I can hear her.
B
All right, so Ms. Brittany, I think you are live and in charge and single.
D
Some marriage.
B
It's a couple's conference, so. All right, so TogetherTheTrades.com and then Brittany's, you know, on the market, you know, I guess because unless Caleb's coming,
C
I don't either.
D
Cool.
B
That's funny.
D
He says, how do I join?
B
That must be Britney.
C
No, that was me. I couldn't figure out how to get in.
B
Oh yeah, no, no. So if you guys are joining us, this is our attempt at doing a live stream.
D
We don't usually do live on Instagram.
B
No, TikTok, not so much. But if you guys don't know we have a marriage conference. We want to get on here and talk about it for 15, 20 minutes. We have a, another conference together trades that's coming up in July and this is our fifth, sixth, sixth, sixth, sixth annual conference. So we're really excited about that. We're going to. Hold on. Drum roll, please. Don't destroy the song or anything. Drum roll. Where are we going?
D
Oh, they already know Grand Canyon.
B
Well, yeah, for anybody who doesn't know the Grand Canyon.
D
Yes, the grandest of canyons.
B
Going to Flagstaff copper mines. Makes sense. We're going to Flagstaff. Beautiful area. And we are really excited. So we're flying into Phoenix. I think the almonds, I think they're
D
flying into Phoenix too.
B
You guys flying into Phoenix too?
C
We are, yeah. It's a two hour drive from Phoenix if you want to fly from there. There's less options if you fly into Flagstaff directly as far as flight options, but it's only a 30 minute drive, so. So it's kind of up to whatever you'd like to do.
B
Good.
C
So we're really excited. It's the first time we've been to that area of the country. We've been to Big sky before and pretty much everywhere else, including a cruise. But this was a request from everybody, so.
B
Yeah. And every year it's a traveling event. So we take a poll and the inmates are in charge of the prison. And we all decided to go west. Seems like everybody likes going west to the Grand Canyon, which is really exciting. So does anybody know the dates? And we're gonna talk a little bit about the schedule and the speakers and the theme and some ideas. I think the girls are probably a little bit more privy on some of the scheduling and logistics, I think.
D
Because you missed the meeting while doing morning rollout this morning.
B
Yes.
D
Sign.
B
Yeah. So let's start off with the high level. For anybody who doesn't know TogetherTrace.com get your ticket. We've got a great promo actually going on today we wanna share with you guys. But first things first. When's the actual date?
D
So typically people recommend. We recommend that people fly in on Thursdays. That would be Thursday, July 16th. So that you're, you know, waking up there instead of trying to do a red eye and everything. Because we actually start pretty early on Thursday. Friday morning.
B
Friday morning.
D
So if you get on Thursday, we have like a little get together that we do. Nothing super official, just like a hangout session, fireside chat kind of vibe. And then Friday morning we kick things off right at 7:30. And from there it is Mr. Brian and Liz.
B
Mr. Brian and Liz, a break.
D
And then we have Casey from Marriage365 speaking. And then Marty and Lisa Grunder. And then we have a break. And then a hoedown.
B
That's right. We also have lmn, who's sponsoring Granum is sponsoring Friday session, which is really cool. Shout out to lmn. Check promo code Brian. Promo code Almond. But then, so that's day one, which we're really excited about. And maybe if Brittany wants to roll into day two, that'd be cool.
C
Yeah, I actually didn't have that up. Okay, so day two. Day two, we actually have. So the marriage 365. I don't know if anybody's heard of them. You can follow them on Instagram and get a lot of different tips. And they have some fun videos on there for you to watch. So they're coming back for another round of speaking. Day two sponsored by Vermeer. So we're happy to have them back. I think they've been at every together in the trade so far, so we're really appreciative of that partnership.
B
Yeah, yeah. Thank you to Vermeer, if you guys happen to be watching this in the ethos of the blogosphere. So that's going to be very good.
C
One new thing we're doing this year is we're actually doing a men's and women's breakout. So we've never been able to or had the space to separate everybody. Brian and Caleb are going to take the guys out and kind of do a group where I'm going to call it a group therapy session. It's going to be talking about like the weight of what it's like to be an entrepreneur and to be a dad and to be a husband and manage all of that. And then Liz and I are going to take the women and we have our own topic over there, just talking about motherhood and juggling and not feeling neglected and speaking up for yourself and communicating your needs. So we're gonna do that and then we're gonna bring everybody back together and do like a high level overview so people can share or I guess the hosts can share information. That way everything can stay anonymous.
D
We won't put anybody on the spot that doesn't want to be right.
C
Yeah, yeah.
B
I'm sure all the women, I'm sure all the women will get together talking about how they gotta fix the bed, coffee.
D
Because like women, we're perfect. We don't have anything to pick.
B
That's what I figured.
E
Yeah.
B
And I. The men will talk about fixing the women. All the women will talk about fixing the magnet. We'll all solve this bad boy, you know, together.
C
So, yeah, I think Caleb did that reference on the podcast that we recorded yesterday. He's like, yeah, I'm the one with the problem. I always have scaffolding around me. And you're perfect. You never have an issue.
B
Sounds like the same dynamic in our relationship. So that's perfect.
C
So it's all very relatable.
B
Yes, exactly, exactly. So TogetherTrades.com if you guys are just new to the live stream, by the way, comment down below, let me know where you guys are joining us from. If you guys are in the field, if you're in the office, if you're at the gym, our guys are wrapping up here. We've got another hour and then they're finishing up two mulch jobs, one new commercial site to mow, which has need a double triple cut. So our guys will be rolling back in here in about an hour, which is really exciting.
D
Someone wants to know if you're gonna have peanut butter hands again this year.
B
No official announcements on any peanut butter hands.
D
This is so gross.
B
I'll still never forget. I'll still never forget what that experience was like. Maybe we'll bring run it back with something else. Maybe we'll get some other condiments involved. But maybe, maybe not.
D
Not that kind of.
C
I don't think it's necessary.
B
Yeah, not without a disclaimer or a warning label on my speech. But anyway, so that was, that was really fun.
D
We also have a very fun doing. And tell them about the promotion Britney, that we're doing the Mother's Day.
B
Oh yeah.
D
Not a giveaway.
B
It's like a promotion. It's an incentive.
D
Incentive.
B
Incentive.
D
If you buy your tickets between now and Saturday, we will comp your first hotel room stay the first night stay
B
at the host hotel.
D
At the host hotel. Which is really cool. Something we've never done before. But just a little something special for Mother's Day. And we know that you guys like to wait until last minute to get your Mother's Day gifts. So if you are sitting around and you haven't gotten your wife anything for Mother's Day, you're looking for something. This would be a very good gift to get her some time away together. Just you two. We know it's like at the end of busy season that it's actually intentionally put on this time of year because we know personally we need to take some time away and realign and so what better excuse than getting a gift for Mother's Day? Maybe a little write off actually.
B
That's right. That's right. Talk with your tax professional. But yeah, it's what, a $200 value plus or minus. That's really cool. So if you guys haven't got your tickets together, now's the time to book them because that's all going to be going offline here in another couple of weeks as we basically wrap up all of our finals are due. Headcount, food count, hotel rooms. If you ever plan an event, you know, it's a lot of logistics to make this stuff happen. So for all of you that have been there are deciding to come, we are super excited to host you. Have you there. I can't wait to hang out, network, pour into each other. It'll be a really, really fun time. And, and honestly I think we're actually staying an extra day, right?
D
I don't know.
B
I think we're coming in A day early or staying a day later, whatever it is, because we want to go to the Grand Canyon again. Because I just know one day is not going to be as much time as I would like. So we're going to stay for an extra day, which will be really cool. But if you guys have never been, we really encourage you to go. It's been a great time. Where the whole idea of the event was to just strengthen our relationships out there as couples. We're running businesses. You've got kids. Some spouses work in the business, some don't. Some have a career, some don't. Some are stay at home moms and dads, some aren't. So there's literally every relationship dynamic, every family dynamic out there present and represented at the event. We've had, we've had single people there, we've had folks that have exited relationships that want to improve themselves for the next one, you know, and why make that investment into themselves? That's actually really cool. We've had, you know, proposals. We've had proposals there.
D
They now have a baby, which I think it's like they've gotten proposed married now, baby, like it's such a cool.
B
We've had, we've had boyfriend girlfriends to engaged to newlyweds. We've had people that have been there for. Married for 10, 25 years. 10 to 30 years, which is awesome.
D
And Marty Grunder, I'm. I'm so excited to hear from him. He's like somebody in the industry that has been married happily for as long as they have been together is impressive is what I'm finding. To build a business that big, to still be married and to be married happily is like happily married a unicorn. So I want to know.
B
Yeah, so that'll be really, really cool. And if you guys don't know, Marty Grunder, he's like a legend in the industry. So we're excited and honored to have him on in as one of our big dog guests, if you will. And again, can't thank all the speakers and sponsors and Marriage365. Everybody's coming on in. It's going to be a really, really good time. We're doing our best to make it a fun time, you know, and we'd love to hang out with you guys there. And I think we have the whole hotel to ourselves. Right? Like the whole, for the most part, the whole conference has that hotel. So that'll be really cool. And people are going to obviously be linking up to make excursions to the Grand Canyon and other sightseeing. Things.
D
Right across the street is a train, actually, if you wanted to take a train, which I think we might do, right to the Grand Canyon, which is, I think, unique and fun.
B
You know, I like trains.
D
Special interest.
B
Boy, we didn't have that back when I grew up. Now let me get back to my training anyway, so it'll be a good time. Brittany, what are you and Caleb, if Caleb was here, what do you think he would say? He's mostly.
C
Well, he is our on site ambassador, so he is excited to jump back into that role. But, yeah, we're. We flew into Phoenix purposely just for the drive. We love driving out west and just seeing the different terrain. So we're doing that and we fly out, I think, Sunday afternoon. But I think we might try to go a little off course. Like we might drive through Flagstaff on our way home. We've been out in that area a lot. What this is for us is it's usually just like a. Just simply a break. And like some of the hardest times of the season, and you work so hard, and you're just clawing your way to June, and then it's like a welcome break before everybody goes back to school and everybody starts into the crazy fall season. So I know every year we just are really. We've really appreciated this forced opportunity. Like, this forced opportunity to take time.
B
There you go. That's cool. That's cool. What's. What's. What's some of the best things that you've gotten out of some of the most recent years? Quality time. Any. Any, like, education or nugget or networking event, you know, or anything specific that stands out.
C
Every year we learn how to be better people to each other. Right? Like, we. We learn, I mean, essentially, like, what we're missing. Right. Because a lot of times we'll have the same argument over and over and over again. And then I hear you and Liz talking, and I realize that, hey, they're having the same argument we did. And look how they pulled themselves out of that. And so on site, Ambassador is here to. Ambassador.
B
Oh, I'm here to Ambassador.
C
You have to. You're live.
B
Just so you know, don't say anything crazy.
C
So. Yeah, so every year we pull something different just based on the season of life that we're in.
B
Well, that's cool. Yeah, I love it. I love it. Well, we're super excited to hang out with you guys and everybody else. There's a lot of folks that are just regulars. Like, you've been to all. All of them, which is really cool. It's a tight group. It's, it's definitely. We all have history. We all have a lot of inside jokes and inside laughs for sure. Like kind of like what happens at trade stays at trades. Because some of the stories that people share and tell are very vulnerable and hilarious. And I guarantee you, if anything, you'll at least come away with some good laughs.
D
If anything is entertaining.
B
If anything is entertaining, for sure. We don't pretend to have it all figured out by any means. There's another coup that has really helped us steward the event. Tandem marriage. They, they've come to almost all of them as well and they, there are some of those folks that are the credentialed folks that give us a lot of those tools in the tool belt Brady was referencing. And they're great people in general. Just, just beautiful people. This year we have a couple other great guests. Like we said, we're kind of changing up the rotation to keep it fresh. So yeah, that's, that's kind of the whole ball of wax right there.
D
Yes, we do have just future focus that like if you've been on the fence about attending the event or if you've attended it in the past and you'd like to attend it again, we are going to be pivoting the next couple years to more of like a regional vibe, little pop ups attached to other events instead of these big more retreat based events just to kind of realign with what we think we can do to reach the most amount of people and going to events that we know you guys are already at. Like we're talking the talks with Equip right now, something in the works, doing something there on the big stage, which is really exciting, but just changing it up. So if you've been kind of on the fence and you're like, I don't know, I'll make the next one, you know, it might be a while until there is another big retreat focused one like this. Well, we're still going to be out there going and you know, have lots of these little pop ups but it's not going to be a over the span of a couple day thing. It's going to be a couple hours attached to another event most likely.
B
What, what, what Liz is saying is make sure you come to this one because it's going to be one of the, the bigger last hurrahs. And then every two or three years we're still kind of flushing this out, but we'll, we'll probably do an event like every three or so years. But we've been to Yellowstone, went to the silos, we went to All Peak Sky Montana. We went down on a cruise, went to Nashville. I think some people are still paying for Nashville. That was a, that was a wild, wild couple of days. But it was really good and so we'd love to have you guys. Long story short, not to be too cheesy here, but we do have a get your tickets by Saturday. If you sign up between now and then you get a free hotel room for one night, which is really cool. That's a couple hundred dollar value so we'll make sure to comp you on that. A couple hundred value.
C
Whatever the name is you get if you buy your ticket between now and Saturday we comp your first night hotel which I believe is 219 or something like that.
B
So there you go. Togethertrace.com guys get your ticket. We'd love to have you there. We'll, we'll give the rest of the time, I guess to Caleb. Brittany, I think we've said our part but anything else you guys want to add or. Caleb, what's your, what's your favorite $0.02 of the whole, whole shindig?
E
If I had to say anything, it's always just awesome getting together with other couples that are interested in going forward, working on themselves. That's my people. I like people that are pushing and working on self improvement. Right. And so I always love being around people that are, they're aiming up and so that's my favorite thing of the whole event is being around people that are aiming up and in this case it's aiming up in your relationship and your marriage. And I think that's like awesome and of course that's like the best thing about it. So if I had to put a vote in for that, that's my, my
D
favorite aspect of it, the association.
B
Yeah, I like it. All right, well let's bring it home.
D
Are we missing anything? Brittany?
B
I think that's a lot of the. Did we miss anything? Ms. Britt or Caleb? You guys want to add?
C
Just, just to reiterate, this is,
B
this
E
is the last one of this, of this nature. Like the pop ups like Liz mentioned pivot into some smaller regional events. But this is the last big shindig of together in the trades as we know it currently ever again shifting and evolving and aiming, aiming up in different ways. And so this is just a pivot for us and they'll still be bringing forward, you know, whatever we end up doing, you know, going forward is still aimed at The.
B
The.
E
The idea of helping people are working together and try not to homicide each other because they do that. So.
B
Which has never been on the table for us.
D
Just.
B
We're clear.
D
I don't know that podcast yesterday.
B
Although yesterday's podcast probably me toeing the line. So, guys, we'd love to have you. A lot of great, funny comments that you guys are. We got a little bit of a delay because of Liz's phone patching into the live. But appreciate the love the. The encouraging words. The. Why'd you touch that? No, I'm just kidding. It's very brittle around here. Everything's put together by duct tape. But appreciate all the kind words that you guys have. You're doing great here. Oh, my God. Who's that? What is she doing? Okay, okay, let's not touch any of this. So if you can tell we run our marriage is about as successful as we run our technology, you can tell that it's going to be a good time. So we're really excited to hang out with you guys. Long story short, get your tickets. For real. Don't. I've had probably three or four different couple or guys that I've talked to, and they're like, man, it's always a good. Like, I love what you guys are doing. More people need that. We need to go to that. We're going to catch that one year. And I'm like, dude, like, this is the year.
D
This is the year to catch it.
B
You know, this is the year to catch it because we're going to make a pivot from here and do it every couple of years or at other smaller events and pop up. So that being said, we'd love to have you guys together. Trades.com. get your ticket. Great Mother's Day gift as well for all of you guys that, unlike myself, haven't planned ahead, obviously, you know, for Mother's Day. When is Mother's Day?
E
Saturday.
B
It's Saturday. Because I knew that question.
D
Sunday.
B
Sunday. I'm sorry, that say Saturday. It's Sunday, so make sure you guys get all that done.
C
And Caleb already told me he got me tickets to together in the trades so he doesn't have to.
B
I'm a romantic. What can I say? That's a great husband right there. But for all other guys that might be struggling or maybe, you know, a. A guy out there that could be struggling at 11:59 at Saturday night, maybe drop him a link to the ketheringtrades.com and he'll surprise his wife and they'll go on a little, little rodeo and a little adventure out west. It's always a good time. It's always a good time. So that's all we got. You know, we, we appreciate you guys hopping on here for a couple quick minutes.
D
We love this community. Like we, like we said, we've been, we've really come to know a lot of you that attend these events over and over. Just very quickly. Just wanted to say thank you guys for supporting the event in the way that you have over the years.
C
It's.
D
Yeah, it's really formed just such a good bond. Good community bond.
F
Yeah.
B
And we've seen so many people grow and mature and enter different seasons and phases of their life. No different than what we have. I mean, the first one we did, we didn't have kids.
D
I was pregnant.
B
You were pregnant? Yeah. That's crazy. So now we have three little gremlins running around and it's crazy. The almonds have eclipsed the seven figure business. Obviously have multiple kids, building a home, doing a lot. Like we're all in different seasons. So it's always fun to hang out with other folks that are doing life with you, like Caleb said. So. All right, that's, that's my final two cents. Togethertrace.com Caleb I'll let you guys wrap it up with anything we might have missed.
C
No, I think that's it.
E
Thank you, folks.
B
Sweet. All right, gang. Well over now, Ticketontrace.com if I haven't said it five other times before, get your tickets and we hope to see another 10 couples there by the end of this weekend. All right, over now, everybody have a great day and we'll catch up with all you guys here on the next one. Bye, guys.
