I think it's. Especially when the light hits for sure. Because I've seen pictures and so I like. It's giving.

[Brooke]

Thank you. I'm actually so happy with it. So we did semi permanent color. I kind of lost my voice also. That's why it's a little hoarse.

[Danielle]

You're partying, so.

[Brooke]

Yeah. But I, like, feel, you know, like, the first day of, like, losing my voice, I was like, I can't. But today I'm like, I'm okay. I'm okay.

[Danielle]

Because Mads was like, I know you. I'm nervous.

Yeah. So did a little red tint. Inspired, I'll say it by. I don't even follow her. I just, like, stop a TikTok of her. Stassi baby.

Because there's, like, Dua Lipa red, which is, like, really red, and I feel like she's kind of like the, like, one level down from it, and that's like, my goal. So now I'm going to go back in for permanent color in two weeks and, like, really lean in and do it.

So are you going to do a little darker or just. This will be more.

[Brooke]

More like, red. Like, it will look. Because right now is red in the light.

[Danielle]

Yes. But, like, because you want it to be read always. Yeah, I get that.

[Brooke]

I want to, like, if I'm going to do it, I want to do it.

[Danielle]

Oh, I'm so ready.

Yeah. I showed my mom a picture of Dua Lipa. I was like, not this red or whatever. You know how nice. Like, Mom's always.

[Danielle]

Yeah.

She's like, you're prettier than her. I was like, mom, it's. That's very nice of you, but I was like, this is. That's like, as if it's like a random girl that I just like, oh, this girl Susie from down the block.

[Danielle]

Oh, you're pretty than her. Don't even worry about it.

[Brooke]

It's like, that wasn't what I was asking, but it's really funny.

[Danielle]

I'm really excited. It's so pretty right now, especially with the light hitting on it. So it's gonna be so exciting when, like, no matter what lighting you're in, it's like.

[Brooke]

Yeah, yeah. When I'm like, out in the sunlight, I'm like, wow, I really like this color, but it's just essentially like a tint on my right. Like, she didn't.

[Danielle]

Yeah.

[Brooke]

Damage my actual hair. We don't have to, like, bleach it. It's confusing how she's gonna do it because I was like, don't I have to lighter to go?

[Danielle]

I, I. Yeah, I don't know. I feel like, why would they bleach it? Because you're not going. Like, you're keeping your dark. You're just adding.

[Brooke]

Yeah.

[Danielle]

Into it. But yeah. I also don't know how that part works.

[Brooke]

I just always assume that when you get your hair dyed, you have to get it. But I don't know anything about. I asked Madge. She's like, we talked about this on our podcast episode together. I was like, I'm so sorry.

[Danielle]

Oh, sorry. I do forget. I did not take notes.

[Brooke]

Yeah. I have to go back and reference it. That's really funny. So I have. But let's talk about you. You just got back from Florida, boots on the ground.

[Danielle]

How crazy. About a week ago, I was like, all right, headed down, help some aftermath. Check in, check in. Little check in.

[Brooke]

And then.

[Danielle]

And then Hurricane Milton was on the way.

[Brooke]

Did you. When did that.

[Danielle]

Like, I did not know, like, when I was going down. I had no idea that Hurricane Milton or at that point. At that point, mind you, it was trop. A tropical storm. And I remember on Friday, I got there on Thursday. On Friday, I went over to my neighbor's house who their whole. Their first floor was their living room, their bedroom, like, completely gutted. And we were like doing their laundry and stuff. So we were going back and forth and she kept saying, you know, there's that other storm out there. She was like, tell your mom. Because my mom is so. Like, you know, it's gonna be fine. Like, there's.

[Brooke]

Yeah.

[Danielle]

So my mom didn't tell me. Like, I didn't know. Like, I wasn't looking because I was just focused on Hurricane Helene. And. Yeah. So then we were just watching it the next few days, and then we were like, this is actually happening right now. Meanwhile, our whole neighborhood is still today full of debris. Like, everyone's stuff is still out front from, like, taking their things out of the flood or the flooded houses. So. But you know what? I am so happy I went home. Like, I am. So that was such a, like, last minute decision. Like, a few hours before we came here and recorded, I was like, something is telling me I need to go home. And I think my mom was feeling it too, because I had talked Dr. And I'm so glad I went. I got to, you know, see my family, help clean up, see my neighbors, give hugs, all the things. And then also I just realized how much my family was underplaying to me. Like when we were in Alabama, I remember I was like, yeah, they were fully underplaying to me what was happening in our community because they didn't want to bother you.

[Brooke]

Or, like, what was.

[Danielle]

Because they knew how excited we were to be going there for this. You know, I have been talking about it for weeks, which was really kind, but I literally scolded them. I said, never do that again, because I would have flown directly from Alabama that Sunday had I known. And that's on me, too. But I've learned my lesson from that. And, yeah, so was there. I actually did get to go a little bright spot slash sad spot. I'd said I was going to my old high school for a celebration of Life funeral. So special. I also. It was just so nice to be able to go back to my school, and I hadn't been there in so long, my high school flooded. I didn't know that.

[Brooke]

Oh, really?

[Danielle]

Yeah. And they're not even near the I. It was wild. But that actually was really nice. And, like, me and my mom walked around the whole school, and so that was good. And then Sunday, we kind of had, like, a little gathering with, like, our neighbors, because a lot of them didn't have their kitchens. So we, like, catered a ton of food. But it was, like, weird vibes because it was supposed to be, like, a celebration. Like, okay. Like, we're, you know, we're gonna be okay.

[Brooke]

We're gonna be okay.

[Danielle]

We're restoring. And then, like, the news was, like, really happening that day that it was like a Category 2 hurricane, and we were all like, all right, gotta go. Like, the party lasted about an hour.

[Brooke]

And a half because everyone has to handle.

[Danielle]

We had to handle, so.

[Brooke]

Oh, my gosh.

[Danielle]

But I am so grateful for my brother for being down there. And, I mean, as this episodes out, like, honestly, I have no idea. So I don't want to give. There's not much to say right now because currently we're just waiting for it to hit, which is just such a weird thing.

[Brooke]

Yeah.

[Danielle]

But thank you guys all so much for your sweet messages and praying. Like, it's unfortunate, like, right now in this moment, I don't know, like, exactly how to help because it hasn't happened yet. But maybe we could put a few links in the description for you guys, like we did last week. But. Yeah.

Like, it's been the best. There's no. I mean, your family's house is in Orlando, too, and it's now going. My mom and Michael went there, but now I'm like, are you guys gonna, like, it's just. I mean, that'll just be, like, lots of rain and wind, hopefully, but.

[Brooke]

And you just have to be in like a structure that was built like, to code or whatever.

[Danielle]

Right.

[Brooke]

Like, those are better. Like, then, I mean, not that that's the only thing you could do.

[Danielle]

It's good to be in like, big structures and like, houses that, you know, maybe have hurricane windows or more cement rather than wood. I don't even know. I have. My poor father. I called him last night. Like, I just need to stop watching the news. Like, I never watch the news. And this week I decided.

[Brooke]

I mean, how could you not? Like, it's so close to. I mean, it's all over my feed everywhere.

[Danielle]

That's what I was thinking too. Like when we were younger, like, we've had hurricanes come. Not like this since living in that house. But social media, like, wasn't. Oh my God. I. I'm like seeing meteorologists cry. Like, I'm like, I need to get off this app. Like, just because there is nothing to do right now. So hopefully.

[Brooke]

And they did the b. And they're going to be safe. Like, your family will be safe, you know?

[Danielle]

Yeah. Yeah. I felt good. My dad was like, not anxious at all. He was like, you know, we literally just. Brett, like a few months ago got a new roof and a brand new deck. Like our. I didn't even show you. We like, renovated our back deck. And if we hadn't in the last hurricane, it definitely would have ruined our, like, our house. Like, the back balcony would have like, fallen. Oh, my brother said so it's really good that both of those things just happened. So I'm like, trying to remind myself that my dad just got a few hurricane windows. So I just feel so lucky and like, privileged.

[Brooke]

Yes.

[Danielle]

Have those things in, in place. It's just so scary. Cuz we're on the water.

[Brooke]

Oh my gosh.

[Danielle]

But I. My dad was like, please stop stressing out. There's nothing for you to do. You're stressing me out. And when my dad said that, I was like, all right, I'll shut up. Like, I don't want to, like, make him more nervous than he probably. He's trying to make us feel calm. And I really appreciate that. So anyway.

[Brooke]

But he also probably wants to be your dad and be like, it's taken care of. And like, I. I get that. It's like the line between like, the parent, whatever.

[Danielle]

Totally.

[Brooke]

Yeah. I have had that with my parents. We had a big thing a few years ago, like when I was in college. It wasn't even a thing. Just something happened I feel like with my brother, with my family, and I found out about it, like, days later, and I was like, that's when we, like, restructured the family communication. I was like, look, I know I'm not physically here with you, but, like, I want to know. I want to be in the know. Like, if you're telling Sal something big, you got to tell me, like, kind of like, I don't want to say at the same time, like, in the same. Like, wow.

[Danielle]

Yeah. So the same thing where they, like, almost want to protect you, you're not there.

[Brooke]

Yeah. Or they're like, oh, it's not the right time for me to tell her. Like, I want to wait till we have a phone call or, like, she's busy with T or whatever the excuse was. Which is valid. And, like, totally valid.

[Danielle]

You know why they think that.

[Brooke]

But I. We had a whole thing, so now it's like, almost like a running joke. They'll call me the bike, because we know you like to know.

[Danielle]

Wait, that's actually funny because I remember a few months ago, your mom called you to tell you some not news, and you were like, oh. But you're like. I bet you were also like, okay, I did tell her because.

[Brooke]

Yeah, because we know you like to be in the loop or whatever. Yeah.

[Danielle]

Yeah. Wow. Yeah. Maybe I need to have a chit chat, so. But it's all because they're looking out for you, and they. For sure, you can't feel guilty because you knew, like, they were, like, thinking they were trying to be positive.

[Brooke]

Of course.

[Danielle]

So.

[Brooke]

But I'm just so sorry. I mean, that's not even, like, enough. I'm hoping that everything's okay, though. And I just text.

[Danielle]

Like, there's literally nothing to do, so I'm just trying to do my day. It's. It's, like, so beautiful here. I'm like, this is crazy how, like, up here is so nice and down there. But anyways, there's nothing more to say right now because by the time this episode's up, something's already happened, so who knows? But I do feel like we have so much to catch up on.

[Brooke]

So much.

[Danielle]

Because you had a banger this week.

[Brooke]

A banger.

[Danielle]

And let me tell you, I think I was texting everyone at that party. Send me photos. Send me.

[Brooke]

Like, I was next to Delaney, and she was like, I was texting. Delaney was asking for live updates. I was like, send her a picture of this. Send her a picture of this.

[Danielle]

Yeah, I'm glad, because I literally was like, I so Many of my people on Find My Friends were just all at your apartment. I was like, kat, Margo, Brooke. Oh, my God, I've got crazy. So how was it? Like, how was the lead up to the day? Like, the prep? You did way more than I even knew. Like the matchboxes.

[Brooke]

Yeah, I try. I. I wanted to, like, sneaky. Lean in.

[Danielle]

Yeah, a little bit.

[Brooke]

Yeah. I didn't want to make it like, you can't advertise. You know, I gotta manage the expectation. Well, how could I do? So I had a housewarming party finally. I feel like this was a big. Even my therapist was like, you know, you gotta celebrate. Like, you did this. Like, it's so housewarming. I was like, you know, it's. It's been months, but it's like, it took some time to get a little set up. My parents came. Ben's parents came. Yeah.

[Danielle]

They went to dinner before, right?

[Brooke]

They went to dinner before. Just the four of them. I was definitely, like, we did have done dinner, like, Ben and I, of.

[Danielle]

Course, and all of them.

[Brooke]

But they. They went to dinner, like, themselves before.

[Danielle]

And that's crazy.

[Brooke]

Yeah, I know. And apparently went great, which was good. Ben's sister and her husband came, and then my brother and his brought some friends. So they met for the first time, the boy. Because, like, have. Has your brother ever met Ryan sister?

[Danielle]

Yes. Like, Georgia.

[Brooke]

Oh, okay.

[Danielle]

Like, this would make.

[Brooke]

Because, like, I was like, wow, these are, like, such important people in my life. Like, I was trying to think contextually, like, when they would have ever.

[Danielle]

So Sal hadn't met Ben's parents, you're saying?

[Brooke]

Or his sister. Yeah. Yeah. So, like, all of the families got to me. But it wasn't like, just a family party. It was really for friends because I was like, oh, should I invite, like, should we invite Ben's grandparents? Like, should we? Yeah. Like, I wasn't sure how deep to go. It's also an apartment party. Like, I can't fit. Like, it was full.

[Danielle]

Brian said it was. It was a packed house.

[Brooke]

Everyone wanted to be in one room.

[Danielle]

I know. I thought you opened the doors to the other room. I did. Why would people. They want.

[Brooke]

And everyone got a tour. Like, people came in. Like, Ben would give them the tour. And, like, it was really. It was great. And I figured, like, maybe some people hang out in the second bed.

[Danielle]

Yeah.

[Brooke]

Like, we have a couch in there or in the hallway. Everyone wanted to be in the one central room. So it was like, at one point, it was like, body on body. I was like, wow, it is tight in here. I feel like I took a few notes about it. Oh. So in terms of the food, what I did so well. I was raised by my parents who they have parties, I will say, like, often. And I still. Yeah. And I thought that this was like, once again, things you think that are like normal and everyone does. Growing up, they had like big themed parties, like, for no reason. Like, they just had like a white party for like end of the summer, like, whatever. But like big done up, you know, like just fun party people. So I guess I was. I had people to consult, I guess about like, what to do. You guys told me Katie and Danielle, when we were on Nantucket, they were like, I was telling them about my party and I was excited. And I forget who it was. You were.

[Danielle]

I said, I said, are you going to hire a bartender? And you were like, I was thinking about it or something.

[Brooke]

I had that thought because that's what my parents do for their parties. They also get wait staff to like pass around the apps and stuff, which is so nice because then you can actually enjoy your party. Like, yeah, I don't have to be like, there's stuff in the oven. Like, you know, let me get it. Serve everybody.

[Danielle]

That would be so you. So this last for sure.

[Brooke]

And I knew that it was so many different groups of people coming and I was like, you know, I should. But I just didn't look into, like, who to hire. Katie had like a red cont and they were amazing. I have to say. Game changer. So you recommend 100%. I love, obviously for like a party of a certain size, like, if you're having 20 people, like, it does not make sense.

[Danielle]

That's a waste of money.

[Brooke]

Yeah. At first, when there wasn't like enough people in, the bartender was there. I felt like, awkward.

[Danielle]

Like, I was like, oh.

[Brooke]

I swear.

[Danielle]

Yeah, I swear.

I took like literally two photos. But those are always the best nights.

So I, like, took the phone call of the UberEats guy in the hallway and I shut the door and it was silent. Like, I heard nothing. I was like, this is amazing. It must be soundproof in there.

I'm so glad. And did you tell your doorman beforehand or.

Okay. This was another thing. So Ben said, we're having a few people over.

It's like, mean girls. Like, I got enough cheese and crackers for eight people. No, we were having. Which, like, we're not going to get kicked out for having a part. Like, you're allowed to have a party.

Yeah. I mean, you own that place. Like, yeah.

I mean, noise complaint valid. But you're allowed to be like, yeah, but I guess people were showing up and I don't know what they were saying. If they were like, I'm here for Ben and Brooke, or if they were like, I'm here for the party. And he was sending people to, like, the party room. Yeah. He was like, go to the 32nd floor. So then they would show up at the 32nd floor. The 32nd floor was some sort of Columbia University party, like a student club. Like, they rented out the space. So people were showing up. They were like, I don't think this is Ben and Brooks housewarming party.

They seem a little younger than Brooke and Ben.

And apparently they had a DJ and a bartender, too. I didn't get to check it out, but so they rented out, like, the space.

So people were like, I got sent to the 32nd floor, but I made it here now.

Well, that's good. Because it was it at an apartment or was the 32nd floor?

Was like it's a space like rent out.

Seriously, don't. Especially alcohol. I was like, this was a party to clear out the alcohol.

The lore behind the coffee table is that I wanted this exact table that I saw on Pinterest and it, you know, usually on Pinterest you click on it and it takes you to the website. That was like the point of Pinterest back in the day. Well, this one it did not, but it Was this beautiful. It was like half the inspiration for my whole apartment, this one photo. And maybe we could put that photo in the newsletter and what you guys should subscribe to. Oh, yes, down below. What is the URL again?

But basically my interior designer, Sierra did a. I didn't even think to do this. A reverse image search and found it on this like random website. And she sent it to me. And she was. And it wasn't a cheap coffee table. And she was like, this look seems to be the exact one because the photo on Pinterest was the photo that this website used. But it was like everything was in Dutch. It was in Amsterdam. We were emailing with this woman back and forth. Like I had to like pay the customs fee to her, like, or whatever. It was like a whole thing. And then they sent me a photo. It wasn't custom made. Well, they make it to order and they sent a photo. And it didn't look like the one in it. Basically the one in the photo had a split in the wood, like, and I really liked that split. And the one they sent me was just kind of a slab of wood. And they, they said, they said, do you like this? And old Danielle would be like, yeah, it's fine.

[Brooke]

Like I said, the picture.

[Danielle]

A picture, a picture. If they sent it, I was gonna be like it. Here it is. No, no, no. They sent a photo via email. And I was just like, oh, my God. I. It's not the foot. Like I want to split in the wood. And they were like, no problem at all. We will make a new one. And I'm sure they'll sell that one. But they. So now they have two ready to go. But then they made a new one. It took a couple more weeks, but it was so worth it for me just to have that little split in the wooden. I was really proud of myself because. Just because it wasn't cheap.

[Brooke]

Yeah, you're leaning in and you and your custom order. When you're going through those efforts, you want it to be perfect.

[Danielle]

Yeah. So I'm really happy with it. This one has no drawers or anything. Like, my Last coffee table, but I did that because my console under my tv, it has so much more storage. So I was able to put the things that were in my last coffee table, like, in there. Like, all my candles now are hidden. They're not.

[Brooke]

Wow.

[Danielle]

Under. Speaking of candles, I'm, like, having this thing with candles right now.

[Brooke]

Obsessed with them. Or like.

[Danielle]

Well, I love candles. You know that, like, as soon as my eyes crack open, I light a candle. And as a part of my family, as a whole's, like, you know, the seed oils.

Oh, yeah.

I'm starting to, like, realize that maybe I shouldn't be burning these candles all the time, which I already, like, kind.

Of knew, because it's in the air.

It's just in the air. And I don't typically get soy candles. That's not to say I'm gonna stop, but I've definitely been. And not like, as soon as my eyes crack open, I'm like, burning a candle anymore. It's more like, okay for a few hours when someone comes over, or like, when I really want to set the tone, which is really sad. But I'm realizing, like, you know, like, I got a real plant now. I got an air filter. I'm like, you know, let me just make the air a little better. I'm having this come to moment.

It's like an air purifier.

[Danielle]

An air purifier. I forget what I said. But, yeah, an air purifier. I have to set it up still.

Yeah, I know. You've had those for a while.

Ever since the wildfires, like, last year when that went crazy.

Yeah. Ben always had one. And I'm not gonna lie, I was like, that's a little weird. But ever since we met, he was like, it's really important. It's really important. And, like, he's right. And I was like, okay, whatever. And then that happened. And I was like, wow, there is a cloud of black dust in my apartment.

That's when, like, when you start to see it.

Yeah.

So that. Or like, I guess. Do you have a fan? Do you have any fans on the ceiling?

No.

In your place? Neither. But I remember, like, in college, I had a fan on the ceiling, and you'd clean it off. You're like, oh, that's like, every time you turn your fan on, that's the dust and the.

Yeah, the.

Oh, it's terrible.

But I feel like with the air purifiers, they diminish the scent of your candles. I feel like I've noticed that.

I don't need it, but like, I did buy that for my clothes. But I'm really proud of myself. So I might have to wait till October, till November to do that.

I am just so happy with the way my hair has been looking and growing, and it's just feeling so amazing. I have been adding in a little bit of color to my hair. If, you know, you know, I'm going red. I started with, like, semi permanent color, but now I'm going to do permanent color. And I want to keep my hair healthy and long and luscious. Yeah. So I feel like I'll, like, have it forever. I have the. This, like, medium shoulder bag from Prada. I think it's sold out. I would like everywhere, from what I understand. Like, Chocolate brown. And I've just. I knew I would wear it a lot, but it's. It's truly just every day.

I've also been loving the lip liner. I have always. I don't stray from lips. Today I'm wearing this crazy lip. I forgot I was putting on a red shirt. And then I have, like, this reddish orange lip because, like, NARS sent me this really pretty shade. It's actually called no shame. It's like, because Katie was wearing in on Nantucket, this burnt orange red. And I was like, oh, that's fun. But then I put on the shirt, but I was late, so I was like, you know what? We're just gonna keep it anyways. I like switching up the lip color. This lip liner I discovered during fashion Week by Makeup by Mario. I pretty much don't stray away from the makeup forever. Wherever Walnut lip liner, which is so great. But this Mario lip liner in the color tan, it's so it. I feel like it's really close to my lip color. It's just like a tan shade that you can put on and then like a clear gloss. It looks so she love. So been loving that lip liner. If you're on the hunt for, like, something that's not. This isn't pinky at all. It's like, tan. So, like.

[Brooke]

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm on the hunt for a nude that doesn't wash me out, which I feel like the makeup forever's. They have some.

[Danielle]

Yeah. They have so many.

[Brooke]

Yeah. Which I have. But I'm like, open to others.

I have been doing a little bit more eyeliner these days. Like, liquid liner. The house labs. Liquid liner is so good.

Do I need that? I've been trying to find a good one.

It's the. It's so smooth.

Like, you don't have to, like, go over. No, I hate when you have to do that.

[Brooke]

It's the pet. The shape of the pen is great. Like, you know, a little. I'm still trying to work on, like, the.

Sometimes I go too far and like, I'm like, oh, like now I gotta work backwards and kind of try to like.

Yeah.

Restructure. But I feel like when I'm on camera or like, if I have an event or something, I always like the way my eyes look when I do liquid liner and. Yeah, like a wing. I feel like it makes your eyes look Bigger.

[Danielle]

Like, definitely.

[Brooke]

So when we record, I feel like I try to do that because I'm like, oh, wow. I actually.

[Danielle]

Like, she's awake.

[Brooke]

Yeah. Yeah, exactly. I feel like it's kind of fall, too. Like a little sweater and winged liner.

[Danielle]

Yes, definitely. It's very Taylor Swift.

[Brooke]

Yeah. A little wing. I think that's what I'm, like, trying to work on these days. Like, I'm like, it doesn't have to be this big, exaggerated, like, huge flick. Like, it could almost be so small that, like, if you see it, you see it. If you don't.

[Danielle]

Yeah. Like, you don't even need to see it. It's just, like, it opens up your eyes and you don't even realize it.

[Brooke]

Yeah.

That's really nice.

I love that liner. I'm, like, so obsessed with liner right now. I don't know how to do it. But every time I've got my makeup done, I'm like, please put lots of liner on the. On the waterline, everything. I'm like, just line me out.

[Brooke]

Yeah, line me up.

[Danielle]

Whatever that means. Obsessed. I literally talk about this every single year whenever we talk about fall favorites. But, like, I will say it again. It is this perfume by the brand Replica, Maison Margiela's brand. It's Autumn Vibes. I know I've talked about it before. I actually saved the note. Well, not the notes, but Autumn Vibes is woody and spicy with resinous and earthy inflections. It literally smells like you're walking through an autumn forest. Like, but, like, you know, not too naturey. Yeah, there's some spice in there, but I only use it during the fall, and it's a really fun, like, nostalgia. You know, we always. Yeah, it's a really nice scent. I do suggest smelling it, like going to Sephora or something. Smelling. Because it's. It's unique. But I love it so much.

[Brooke]

When I was on my. The Frenchie trip, we were outside and talking about, like, campfires, and they were like. I was like, damn, I wish that we could encapsulate that scent. And Donna Hansen. Yes.

[Danielle]

Did you smell it?

She had it on her, and she had me smell it. I was like, wow, that really does smell me. Is it called Fireplace?

[Danielle]

I think it's called by the.

No, of course you know them. But yeah. Wow. I just assumed.

Yeah. Speaking of sense. And it is a candle. But I also have the spray.

Oh I'm by the way. They're all over my apartment.

[Brooke]

Okay, good. It's the banana pudding candle and just banana pudding scent from Boy Mills. It's sweet but not like oh wow, there's a. Yeah. Sugar cookie like right here in the open. Like it's.

[Danielle]

I do love those though.

[Brooke]

It's. It. Honestly they sent me like a like a travel size like of it on and I get so many compliments especially.

[Danielle]

So you wear it and then I've been wearing it.

[Brooke]

The candle. I love it because it's like I keep in my kitchen. It feels so cozy and fall.

[Danielle]

That's nice.

[Brooke]

But then I feel like when I wear it I'm like, wow. I feel so like feminine and sweet.

[Danielle]

Yeah.

Yeah. Oh, I have.

It's just a good scent. I really like it.

So it's like cake bakery. Ish. But like.

Yeah. The wearable. Not like.

Like not vanilla frosting. Cupcake bath and body works. Like it's not like that. No, it's more like. And it doesn't smell like food either. I guess I should say because sometimes I feel like it could replicate a food scent too much. And you're like. Okay.

I don't ever understand. Like I've gotten a coffee candle before and I guess like if you want to light it in the morning for a little. But I'm like where are we going with this.

[Brooke]

Yeah. Stuff.

[Danielle]

Or like I've seen pizza candles before.

[Brooke]

That's too much though.

The thing with the coffee candle is like I would just rather the scent of the fresh coffee.

Yeah. Like if you brew an espresso or keurig, you get that scent.

That's so true. Yeah. You never really know.

Yeah.

Okay, I'll do one more. Oh, headbands. And not particularly I like those head like just normal headbands but the cotton ones.

[Brooke]

The ear surgery.

[Danielle]

Yeah, the ear surgery. Brooks Ear surgery. Headbands. Love. I never really loved how they looked on my short hair. Cuz I felt like it just pulled up my hair and then I had no hair. But with the extensions, it's a really great lifesaver on those days where, like, the front pieces are a little greasy. I really like the look. I think it's cute if you put a little. Literally, like, I got your surgery, like, on my ears a little bit. I think it's so cute. All the girlies are wearing them, and I just feel so cute. And I just love having my hair out of my face. And I. I haven't been able to do a slick back since I've gotten my extensions, which I knew, but, man, do I miss that. So the headbands make me feel included A little. A little.

So I need to get back on them. I feel like since I got my surgery, I was like, why would I ever wear headband again? Because, like, I.

No, that would make sense. You're, like, triggered.

But now I think fast and it's. I mean, it's practical as we go into the winter, in the fall. Yeah, too.

[Danielle]

Because it keeps you warm, your ears warm. I bet they have special thermal ones.

[Brooke]

They've thermal everything. Yeah. No spend. I know. It's like, prime as we're recording this. It's like prime days.

I know it must be hard for you with no spend.

It's really hard just linking things that.
