Garage Fly Radio began with a friendship that lasted a lifetime.
In 1995, two best friends — Jukebox and Steve — were practicing with their band in Steve's garage when a stubborn fly kept landing on their guitars and microphones. Laughing, Steve suddenly blurted out the name that stuck forever: “Garage Fly.”
They knew right then it was something special.
Though life later took them in different directions, their friendship never changed — months or years apart felt like no time at all.
After Steve passed away in August 2022, Jukebox carried their shared dream forward.
In 2024, Garage Fly Radio was born in Steve's honor — a tribute to a name he created and a friendship that shaped everything.
Today, Jukebox and his wife Boz keep the legacy alive through the music they love and the artists they champion.

This episode is a personal journey through the German disco and club scene of the 1980s, as Boz lived it growing up in Germany. There's no commentary once the music begins — just one story, told through rhythm, movement, and memory. Press play and step onto the dance floor with Boz.

This episode is a little different — and intentionally so. For this spiritual conversation, I chose everyday music instead of traditional Christian music. Songs people already know. Songs that have lived alongside us through joy, grief, questions, and long nights. Because faith doesn't only meet us in church. It meets us in the car, in the kitchen, in the quiet moments when we're just trying to get through the day. This episode is not a sermon. It's not a prediction. It's a conversation — about seasons, suffering, pressure, doubt, love, and hope. It's for the believer who is tired. For the seeker who is questioning. For anyone who still feels a stirring but doesn't quite know what to do with it yet. The music in this episode was chosen to speak to the heart when words fall short — familiar songs that remind us we're human first, and never alone. If you've been feeling something shifting…If faith has felt harder to recognize lately…If love still matters to you… This space is for you.
