They got a lot of crusty veterans that they brought in and, you know, created this nucleus of about seven guys is all they have. But that, that guard, that Tibbs, his first guy. First guy that Tibbs brought in there and he wanted him so bad. Brunson. He hired his dad as an assistant coach. And does Tibbs get a ring? He might not get a ring, but he got a $30 million buyout.

That's true.

I got a great ring story. It was told to me by someone who does a lot of reading, so I tend to believe it. That Patrick Ewing was called and said, we want you in the front office for this year. We think we got a shot and you deserve a ring. And he's getting one.

with a. I'm glad Carolina won. I don't like the Vegas outfit. I don't like anything about it. I don't like a team in Vegas. I don't like the fact they've in the finals three times in 10 years. I don't like anything about it. Anything.

They did. It tells you about the old NHL. A decade ago, they wanted money so bad, they let him have a great team. And expansion. They don't. You're not supposed to get a great team in expansion.

Yeah, I have your New York details. By the way. I was incorrect. One person was fatally shot, three others left in critical condition. And Times Square, as the city's massive post game celebrations became chaotic. Overall, the New York Police Department reported 63 arrests, 10 injured officers, and at least four stabbings across the five boroughs.

In other words, it wasn't really an unusual night. That's New York. I mean, what the hell?

[Gladden]

You know, every time I look at Madison Square Garden, I get nervous.

I don't like arenas built on top of something. It's on top of Penn Central, and

When he gathers the team. Yeah. Then afterwards and then. And everything that's done. When there's meetings on the mounds, he gives a grade. Oh, no. To how well those meetings went.

Oh, no. Scott Forbes is the head baseball coach for your North Carolina.

Targeting. Grading. Grading. Grading dugout meetings. Look that up. Something like gravy. Grading. Grading meetings in the dugout. Something like that.

Those SEC teams have quaint little ballparks.

North Carolina head coach Scott Forbes handles dugout meetings by calling them to shift the team's energy, loosen up players and refocus their approach. Rather than using a formal grading system, he avoids addressing the team after every loss, instead using these moments to remind players to have a short memory and trust their preference.

I'm not. I won't go to a game at Target Field, which is five minutes away, but damn it, I'm going to go to Vegas to watch my football.

I thought East Rutherford, D.C. the old D.C. stadium. And then. And I went one other place, Boston, I guess. And then I was. Then went to LA for the last weekend. You know that the Brazilians were fun, though, because there was a lot of them dressed up like Carmen Miranda, walking around with their hats full of feet, stuff like that. And you know, up here they're kind of scantily clad. Case. And you couldn't tell whether boys or girls too.

Some of those Vegas hockey fans are scantily closed. Poor things don't have any money to buy clothes.

Right. I. It must be a decision to make, though, when it's 105 outside and it's. They got to keep her at about 68 inside. That's.

I've been at a few places that. Having dinner when there's also a prom there. And it's just a shame that some of those kids don't have any. There's no clothing budget, you know, they just don't have enough.

I was in attendance of a high school graduation and I told the father of the child, I said, you've made me very glad I have two sons. Very glad I have two sons.
