My wonderful friends Hope Seabrook and Carley Fleming joined me to discuss this series! We all were texting each other with thoughts on the documentary and I said "Join me for the podcast!". It just made sense. This documentary explores the span of their relationship, from the early days of the couple's courtship to the challenges and controversies that prompted them to step back from the royal family. I am so very excited to bring you two very different series- both with wonderful qualities that make them excellent bingeable shows. 1899 is a long awaited series from the powerful creative team of Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese. They created the series Dark, which is one of my all-time favorite Netflix series, and have returned with this new captivating story. 1899 centers around multinational immigrants traveling from the old continent to the new who encounter a nightmarish riddle aboard a second ship adrift on the open sea. Dead to Me is a Netflix on its third and final season, and man did it go out with a bang! Starring the stellar duo Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, this series is bound to make you laugh and cry all in one sitting.
