Hey, welcome to episode 128. Today I want to talk about how to market like you're fully booked, even if you're not yet, and why this is so important. If I could put anything in your brain, it would be this. And I know your brain is probably thinking, well, Leslie, I'm not fully booked yet. I need clients. I don't want people to think I'm fully booked. I want them to book with me. I need to be telling them I have openings. And I get that. It makes logical sense. But this goes beyond just announcing your availability. In order to get fully booked and to stay fully booked, you have to market completely differently and you have to show up truly as a different version of yourself. Like, as the fully booked version of yourself even before you are fully booked. A fully booked business owner doesn't wait until they are fully booked to start showing up bigger and bolder and with more confidence. They become fully booked because they start showing up that way now. So let's talk about what that looks like with you and your actual marketing. And let's start with you, because to me, that's the most important part. Marketing like you're fully booked doesn't mean faking anything. That's not what this is about either. It's not about lying about your availability or faking urgency. That's cringy. We don't want to do that at all. People, in my opinion, can see right through that. But marketing like you're fully booked means stepping into the role of that fully booked local go to person before the results are there, before the spots are fully booked, before anyone else sees you that way. But this is one of the hardest mindset shifts you'll ever have to make because you have to think beyond your current results, beyond the current circumstances, beyond your current calendar, beyond your current engagement, beyond your current number of followers, beyond the current revenue you're making. But that's the magic. And that's where I bring my clients every day beyond their current results so they can show up bigger to create bigger results. So inside the localpreneur Academy, we work on getting fully booked from two angles. So first from your local marketing strategy and then from your self concept, like who you're being every day, like what you're thinking, how you're feeling how you're showing up. So this means behaving every day and acting every day as the business owner you want to be marketing and showing up on social media as the business owner you want to be talking like someone who has demand sharing like someone who knows they're going to get the clients or going to get their clients results selling like someone who believes people are lucky to work with them. When you show up like that, that's when you're magnetic. That's when other people start to believe those things about you too. But it starts with you. You have to start thinking and feeling and showing up that way first before you have those results, before you have the proof. I call it staying in your local go to energy. Now what also happens in your actual marketing? When you're not marketing like someone who is fully booked, your marketing subtly shifts, sometimes without you even noticing. And I, I see this for myself too. But you show up smaller, you show up less confidently. Your presence just feels different. You shrink your voice, your posts are quieter and less frequent. You second guess yourself. Your marketing sounds like you don't believe someone is coming today. Like a client is not coming today. I also find that when people are not fully booked or they don't believe in the demand that's available and that's coming, I also find that people tend to rely heavily on on entertaining and educating their audience versus selling and talking about what you actually do. A fully booked business owner does not have to over educate or constantly entertain their audience because they know with everything in them that their clients get the biggest transformation with a when they pay them, when they work with them. Fully booked business owners know that their audience that's following them on social media right now is on the slowest path. It's when you actually work together. That's where the real transformation happens. That's where the client can get real results. So the fully booked business owner doesn't spend all their time trying to keep up with every viral trend or trying to come up with all the educational content and tips and tricks. They are out there on social media telling people how they can help them and what's possible. They know, they believe in their demand. They know their people want what they are offering. That's why they're there. That's why they're following them. They know they need to be talking about what they do and how they can help their people, not just entertaining and educating them. So this leads me to my last point and that is when you are fully booked, you have a Deep belief that you can help your people and get them results. And this compels you to tell people over and over, more and more, constantly, when you're not thinking like someone who is fully booked. Your marketing not only tends to overcompensate with the education and the entertainment, but you also tend to market your availability more. So it's heavy on the I have openings this week or I have space for two, more or less. Book your spot before this Friday. And yes, like sharing openings and availability can help people who are already ready, like those people that are on the fence. It creates urgency for someone who's been watching and maybe just needs that little nudge or reminder. I'm all here for that. But here's what I want you to really hear right now. Your current availability is not what makes someone decide to work with you. What creates local demand and a fully booked calendar is your belief. Your belief that you are the best person to help your people solve their problems. Your belief that you can get them the results they want. Your belief that you are the local expert people buy because you can help them solve their problems, because you can help them get results, because you are the best at what you do. But you have to believe that first you have to show up that way and then you have to go out and tell them you can help them. And that means your marketing needs to focus less on your availability and more on the transformation that you provide. Because when you're fully booked, you're not out there just telling people to grab your Thursday at 2pm appointment. You are talking about what happens when people work with you, how you are different, how your process is different, the results that your clients are getting, what your people are missing out on. By not starting now, by not grabbing that 2pm Thursday appointment, you're speaking directly to the person who has a problem. They are aware of their problem and they are ready for your help because that is who is following you and that is who is going to fill your calendar. So if your content has turned more into a lot of entertainment and a lot of education and a lot of availability, we need to shift your energy, shifting it more to your authority, to what you actually offer and sell and your positioning. One of my students inside the LocalPreneur Academy recently had this shift. She went from following every trend there ever was and just free tip and tricks and, you know, just really talking to all the DIYers, but throwing in like, here's all of my availability. And she went from that to here are the problems. I know my People have and here's how we fix it when we work together. So it's the same business, same audience. But her energy shifted and her marketing shifted and within weeks her calendar filled. Like people saw her differently because she showed up differently. They knew she could help them. Okay, so let's wrap up. Marketing like you're fully booked is not about faking anything. It's about shifting your energy. It's about shifting your presence and your positioning and it's about shifting your messaging back to your clients, back to how you can help them back to what's possible. So you have to start showing up like you are that fully booked go to person in your city and that's what's going to attract those people who are ready right now. Okay, if you want help with this, this is exactly what we do inside the localpreneur Academy. I help local business owners stop blending in, stop getting lost and really start becoming the go to person in their city so they can get fully booked with their best fit clients. So if you're tired of just winging it with your marketing, trying all the things, throwing spaghetti at the wall and you want a clear local marketing plan, you want the support, you want someone helping you implement and follow through and making it actually work, then this is your next step.
