All right, let's dive in. Okay, so like I said, I have something really exciting to announce today. So I have been sitting on this announcement. I've been planning it for, I don't know, a couple of months now. And I'm just really excited that I finally get to share it with you guys. Now, some of you here, a lot of you here are current students. Some of you here are brand new to me. So real quick, I'm Leslie Presnell. I am a local marketing coach, and I help local business owners get fully booked. So what some of you not know about me, even those of you who are my students, what you may not know about me is I started my business as a blogger in 2010. This was before Instagram, before Reels, before TikTok, before we had a lot of the just abundance of online business advice that exists now. And what I learned then 16 years ago was how to get local people to pay attention. I learned how to grow a local audience. I learned how to create content that made people want to leave their house, put on real pants, and come to my local events. It Made people want to buy whatever it was that I was selling. So I would host these large scale shopping events and we would sell six figures in a matter of hours. My blog alone put millions of dollars back into our local economy because I knew how to get people excited about local businesses and I knew how to create content and I knew how to sell. And because of that, other local business owners in my city kept asking me how, like, how are you doing this? How are you selling out? How are you getting people to show up? How are you building this type of local Demand? And about 10 years ago now, which is crazy, in 2016, I started taking on social media clients. So I started helping other local businesses in my area and surrounding areas, started helping them grow their local audiences and grow their businesses too. And now today, I work personally with hundreds of local business owners and help them do this for themselves inside the localpreneur Academy. So I help them be more visible, grow a local audience, create local demand and sell. And the reason I am telling you this is because this is not something that I just started teaching yesterday. This is not something that I did one time and got a result for myself and then ran off to create a program about it. This has truly become my life's work. Like, my life has revolved around local marketing for the past 16 years. Like, I am not a serial entrepreneur. I'm not over here. Just a second. I'm gonna see if I can mute everyone. What was I saying now? So I was saying I'm not a serial entrepreneur. I'm not over here creating a new offer every five minutes. Since launching the LocalPreneur Academy in 2020, I have been committed to one single thing for the last six years, and that is figuring out the fastest and easiest, clearest path for local business owners to get fully booked. Like, that is what I think about all the time. Like, how can I help you get known locally faster? How can I help you become the obvious choice in your city faster? How can I help you stop wasting time on things, things that don't matter? How can I help you stop applying online business advice that was never meant for local business owners in the first place and focus on the things that matter? How can I help you make more money with the time, the capacity, the audience, and the type of business you have right now in your city, in your industry? Like, that is the work that I'm obsessed with. And today I have an announcement that is very connected to that. But first, I want you to see something here. I want you to show I Want to show you something. I ha. Can you see this? I have this sticky note right here that has the number 5 on it. And I'm going to tell you why this number matters so much. All right? You're actually going to hear me say the number five a couple of times. It's going to come up. But whenever I first started the local preneur Academy in 2020 in the middle of COVID I invited five women to join me as my first cohort. Okay. I sent five emails to five women, and I made $10,000 in my very first launch. And inside that very first version, that first group of the localpreneur Academy, I started teaching a process. It was what I had been doing for myself for 10 years, and it's what I had been doing for my social media clients, and it's what I started teaching my students. So I started teaching them, like, how to be more visible in their city, how to create content, how to stand out, how to become known, how to sell, how to become that local go to person who's fully booked. Those five women were my very first group. And then I did it again a few months later with another group, and then again with another group and then again with another group. So the localpreneur Academy used to be open and closed for enrollment today. You can join anytime. I always tell people, join when you're ready to start bringing in more clients and making more money. But my point is, every single time I brought a new group through the localpreneur Academy, I taught the same process. I tested the same process. I improved the the process, and I refined the process. I taught it to brand new business owners who were just starting and who didn't have a single client yet. I taught it to business owners who had been in business for years. I taught it to people in very small, tiny towns, people in rural areas. I taught it to people in big cities in the middle of Manhattan. I taught it to photographers. I taught it to doulas. I taught it to acupuncturists. I taught it to bookkeepers, home organizers, estheticians, therapists, flower farmers, all the local service providers. And over and over, I started noticing the same thing. When local business owners have a process that truly focuses on reaching people in their city and gets rid of everything else, they can get fully booked way faster than they think. Like, not, like, not because they're going viral or using, like, all the flashy hooks, like, the viral hooks, like, all that. None of that. They're not becoming influencers. They're not trying to copy and follow all the online business advice they're seeing, but because they finally know what they actually need to focus on. Like what actually matters to reach people down the street. They constrain down and they commit to actual local marketing tactics and they get really good at them just by focusing on that and nothing else. So after six years of teaching this, six years of coaching on this, six years of refining this, simplifying this and helping students implement this, I can tell you there are only five skill sets that every single local business owner needs to master in order to get fully booked. Only five. That is it. Okay, so that is the significance of the number five. There are only five skill sets that you need to know how to do. And the good news is you don't even actually have to master all of them before you start making money. Like you make money as you learn them, you get clients as you implement them, you become known in your city as you're like working through them and practicing them as you're putting yourself out there through them. And you become more confident as you're just, like I said, going through them as you repeat them. So when you join the localpreneur Academy, this is what we do. This is what you get access to, right? Okay, one thing that my students hear me say all the time, and you may have heard me say this if you've listened to the podcast or you follow me on social media, but one thing I say all the time is it is never a mystery as to why you are not getting fully booked. Because we can always bring it back to the process. We can always bring it back to one of these five skills, like which skill needs work? Which one are we missing? Which one do we need to do better? Which one do we need to do more? Which one are we not doing at all? Because it always comes back to the five skills. So real quick, before I get to the announcement, I want to run through what these five skills are so you can get the lay of the land and then we'll get to the announcement. Okay, so here are the five skills. There are only five skills you need to get fully booked. Okay, number one, I'm going to put my sticky note down. Number one, you need to know how to stand out locally. You need to know how to stand out among every other person in your city doing what you do. You need to know how to communicate why you, why your work, why your offer, why your services, why your way? Not in a generic way. We're going to talk about being overly generic in a minute and how we are going to fix that. But we have to communicate how you're different and not like anybody else in your industry, okay? In a way that makes people say, she's my person, he's my person, I want to work with them. Okay? The second skill set. Number two, you need to know how to reach people in your city. You need the right people in your city actually seeing your business, finding out about you, knowing you exist. You need to know how to get in front of local people every single day, every single week, every single month, online and offline. Number three, you need to know how to grow a local audience. You do not want an audience on whatever social platform you're on. You do not want an audience full of other people in your industry. I just had somebody email me today. She's a mahjong instructor and she said her following is just other mahjong instructors. That's not what we want, right? We want client, potential clients following us. Actual local people and also not other random people all over the world. Okay? So you need to know how to bring new people into your world every single month. Number four, you need to know how to create content that builds demand. Not content that's just entertaining and fun. Not content that is just educational. Not content that just gets random likes from random people. Definitely not content that people just scroll by, but content that makes your local people choose you, become attached to you. Content that positions you as that local go to person. Content that makes people trust you, demand you, want you, remember you, and buy from you. Okay? Number five, the fifth skill set that you need is to know how to sell. You need to know how to sell in your content, in your emails, the words on your website. You need to know how to sell in conversations that you're having. You need to know how to sell when somebody is interested but maybe hesitant. You need to know the shifts in belief that people need to have in order to buy. So those are the five main skill sets. And that's the process that we follow inside the localpreneur Academy. And this is. This is the process that works. Okay? My students are getting fully booked at faster and faster rates every six months. My student, Chelsea is a doula. I'm trying to see if she's here right now. She's a doula. When we first started out, she did not have a website, she did not have a social media presence. She just started her business. No clients, no nothing, no idea what to do to get started. And in less than a year, she was fully booked with a three month wait list. My client, Chan Lang, she had just opened her acupuncture practice, brand new again, no website, no online presence. And she was fully booked with a wait list, I believe within four months. It was quick, like three to four months. She's on the podcast. We have the exact metrics there, but it was quick. And the thing is, I have so many stories like this. And it's happening because they followed the process. They learned these five skills. That was it. Five skills. They implemented, they evaluated, they got feedback, they tweaked, they iterated, and they kept going all the way to fully booked in such a short time frame. Okay? And that is what I want for you. This is the part I'm excited about too. Okay. And some of you, some of you have messaged me and guessed it. So every December, I host something inside the localpreneur academy called Fast Track Week. It is a week long virtual experience. It's five days. We focus on one skill per day in 60 minutes a day. It's the fastest version of my entire process condensed down into five days. So you can really get the full picture, so you can stop wasting time as fast as possible on things that don't matter. So you can get out of confusion as fast as possible and get into implementation as fast as possible. Okay? So, so it's. The other point is, so you don't get into course mode, you don't go into student mode, but instead you get into implementation mode. So it truly is me dumping everything in my brain into your brain in the most cohesive, simplified way. Okay? And my students have said that this is their favorite thing that we do all year. And normally I only do this in December. I do it at the end of the year so we can jump start into January, like, ready to go, ready to run, ready to get fully booked in the first six months of the year. And now here we are. And I just have so much evidence at this point that it works. So this year I've just kept thinking, like, why am I waiting? Why am I waiting until December to do this when now we have six full months right here left in 2026. And I don't want you. What I don't want you do is to do is to repeat the first six months that have just happened. If you didn't like the results you got in the first six months of this year, I don't want the first half of your year, I don't want the second half of your year to look like the first half of the year. Okay? I want it to look drastically different. I want you to be drastically different six months from now. Now, at the same time, I know mid year feels very hard for a lot of people. We feel very busy. We are taking vacations, the kids are out of school. What I find usually happens at the end of the year is we, we things slow down a little bit closer to the holidays, we slow down, we plan more. We plan at the end of 2025, going into 2026. But now we've reached this mid year point and we're like, okay, I can't keep going. Like, I'm going, but something needs to change. But I don't really have time to slow down. Like, I have clients, not the amount that I want, and I have a life. So I don't want to ask you to slow down right now, okay? I actually want to do the opposite. I want to keep building and I want to speed up. So for the first time ever, we're going to do a mid year fast track week and I want to condense everything down. So I want you spending the next six months implementing and getting fully booked, not learning how to get fully booked, but actually taking action and getting results. So that's going to take you learning the process as fast as possible. So we're going to cover the essentials, the five most important things that you need to know to get fully booked in just five days. Okay? So fast track week is Monday, June 29th through Friday, July 3rd. Five days, five skills, 60 minutes a day. We're going to be live on zoom. There will be replays and also daily cliff notes that some of my students have told me they love more than even the live trainings themselves. But let me break down exactly what we're covering in each day. Okay? On day one, we're going to cover exactly how to stand out. And this, this is going to be big. Okay? I'm going to teach this different than I ever have before because here's what I'm noticing. I follow thousands of local business owners and I personally work with hundreds of local business owners and generic content is taking over. It is getting harder and harder for people to see what makes you different and why they should choose you. I read so many people's content. I read their bios, I read their websites, I read their emails. So much of it I could literally copy and paste it and apply it to another business's website. It's not specific enough to you. It's not highlighting why you enough. It's not getting me excited about you. And that is what we have to fix. We have to fix the generic, okay? We have to fix the AI slop. I love AI. Okay? I love AI. I'm going to teach you how to use it better. I'm going to give you some better tools to use, some of my very own tools that I have been working on, okay? But we have got to get you. More importantly, even without the AI tools, we've got to think. Get you thinking differently about this, okay? We've got to get you out of this generic trap that so many of you are in right now. If I look at your Instagram or at your website or if I read your emails or if I. If I look at anything, and it could be just as easily applied to the person down the street who does what you do. If we just put their name and their picture on it, we have got a problem. And I know how to fix it. Okay? This is going to change everything for you. We're going to demo this using some real student examples and then we're going to. We will even walk through your content and your website, okay? We are getting un generic, okay? So we can stand out. That's just day one. It's truly going to change everything. I've been thinking the most about this. I'm the most excited about this. So don't miss day one. Okay? Day two, we are going to create your local marketing plan. For those of you that are already in the localpreneur academy, we're going to recreate and recommit to our second half of the year local marketing plan. We have to do that. We're six months in now. Okay? A big problem that business owners face is they don't know what to be doing every single day to market themselves. And then they end up doing things sporadically or like if or when they feel like it, or they'll do things like one time and then if it didn't work the way they wanted to, they just never kind of do it again. So what we're gonna do, we're gonna create your Customized plan, your local marketing plan that you will stick to. Leanne says. Yep, guilty. We're. We're gonna create your customized plan that you will stick to for the rest of 2026, the second half of the year, six months. It will be a six month plan. It will be so easy because it will be a checklist of ways that you will get in front of your local people online or offline or both for the rest of the year. Okay. And then you're going to learn how to evaluate it. Actually, you're going to learn how to evaluate it every single, like month after month so you can tweak it, iterate it, improve it so you get better results. That's how my students like Chelsea and Chan Le that I mentioned. That's how they got fully booked in just a couple of months rather than years or never. Okay. It's because they had a plan, they constrained down, they stuck to it, and they learned how to evaluate it. And then they got better at what they were doing and they got better results. Okay? That's what we're covering. Just on day two. On day three, you're going to learn the nine steps to grow your local following by at least 100 new people every single month. I never want there to be a month that you aren't growing by at least 100 people every single month. You should always have a hundred new people entering your world. That is how leads never dry up. New people are always fighting you. And there are nine steps that you can repeat and do every single month. Okay? So I'm going to show you what they are on day three so you can start implement implementing them immediately. Okay? We're going to learn the whole process on day three. Day four, you're going to learn the difference between creating local. What am I saying? You're going to learn the difference between creating local go to content that sets you apart versus creating content that just entertains, that educates or just inspires people. Okay? We don't worry about viral content. We don't get caught up in that. We don't do fluffy content. We don't do trendy content. We focus on content that gets people choosing you. Okay? And there are eight different types of content that you can cycle through that you can use as reels or carousels or static posts, even as emails. That's the fun little secret hack there. But I'm gonna teach you what those eight pillars are on day four, and I'm gonna teach you how to repurpose them and reuse them so you're not on this like never, never ending content creation, hamster wheel. Okay. So you're going to know the types of content that bring in local clients and then you get to recreate that and use that over and over. What was day two? Yes, day two was the local marketing plan. Okay. And then on day five, you're going to learn to sell and we're going to dig into the strategy and the mindset of selling. Okay. As a local business owner, you do sell in so many ways. Like I said, you're selling on your social media, you're selling on your website, you're selling to people, possibly in person at events, you're selling on consults, when you're talking to people on the phone, you're selling in person. Okay. And selling really is just shifting beliefs. And we're going to cover the three main beliefs that you need to shift shift to get people to buy. That's what we're going to cover on day five. Okay. So five skills, five days, five hours and then six months to implement. That's the part that gets me the most excited because imagine not spending six months figuring out what to do, but instead learning the full process in one week, totally condensed down to the essentials, and then spending the rest of the year just doing the work, following the process and then getting feedback, personalized feedback on your marketing and getting fully booked. Okay. That is what Fast Track week is designed to do. So, yes, there will be a replay if you can't make it. Like if you can't get off work, if you are. I know we're getting kind of close to the fourth of July holiday. So if you already have vacations planned or if you can't move client appointments around, there will be a replay.
