Hello April, this is a new month and I'm actually excited because I'm starting the new month going on a a business trip for Habits of a Goddess podcast. I'm currently packing, getting ready for my flight. I have an early flight in the morning. I will be heading to Chicago for the podcast movement. Last year I was in LA for the podcast movement and I was able to meet some of you lovely listeners and say hello. So that was really nice. And this year I miss Chicago and I thought about like wow, like I'm going into the new month, I'm already setting a new goal and I'm already achieving one of my goals for this month and I want to share with you ways that you can achieve your goals and just some ideas of like what to think about throughout the whole month of April and how you can achieve success in different areas of your life. It could be health, wealth, happiness and just new opportunities. So let's focus focus on health goals. I feel like health is your wealth. I've always been an advocate for staying connected with your body through fitness and exercising regularly has been one of those ways of me being able to stay committed with my fitness goals and my just mental clarity goals. Overall, when you're committed to working out during the week, maybe three to four times, it really helps you focus more on your physical body but you also gain like this self confidence of yes I can do this or yes I can take care of my body which is my vessel and I'm able to live a life of quality because you are ultimately taking care of this body that you only get once and exercising regularly just to me it helps you stay on Track with like overall, just your health and wellness. So setting a healthy goal for the week of how often you want to work out I think is so important. And if you've been like looking to try a new fitness routine, whether it can be more cardio or strength or just flexibility exercises, I feel like this is the perfect time to actually look in the mirror and look at what you want to address. Like if you want to tone up more, then look for workouts that's going to help you achieve toning up more. Or if you want to become more flexible. I've always expressed like making sure that you're flexible because over time as we get older and mature, our body gets tight and flexibility to me is everything. So you want to make sure that you're being flexible throughout life, not just with your body, but like your mindset as well. So think about what exercises that you can do on a regular basis during the week. This is a great health goal to set for April and I want to know your goals, so definitely let me know and the comments on our Instagram number two. And there's no particular order or how many goals to set for the month, but I'm just sharing with you a list that I've created personally. But one of my health goals is to drink more water. I do drink water, but sometimes I don't drink enough and I think it's really good to just set a good goal of how much water you want to take in daily. I love this pink water bottle that I recently got that I actually use for two reasons. It's like a multi purpose. I can use it to actually create content like a tripod and I'll link it on my IG stories and you guys can look at it. But it has like a magnet and you can put the magnet piece on the back of your phone and then like it connects on the water bottle. And I use it to create some of my workout videos. So whenever I'm taking Pilates or if I'm doing like home workouts at home and I'll record, I love it because it also holds me accountable to like film content. And I also know to like, oh, let me drink water because this is in a cute pink water bottle. So drinking more water is a great health goal overall. And just keep in mind like if you make your water look pretty by having a really pretty water bottle or if you create like a really nice picture of water with fruits in it and maybe like some mint so that looks visually appealing to you. So it makes you want to Drink more water. When you see FR fruits, fresh fruit or mint in your water, I know for me it does. It helps me want to drink more water. And it helps boost your energy level just overall. And you want to make sure that you're taking care of your muscles as you're working out. So your muscles need to be replenished and stay hydrated. So that's a really good health goal to create. Number three is to eat more whole foods. I aim to eat more fruits, more vegetables and more whole grains in my diet. And this really helps because you don't want to intake processed food or sugar when you are eating more whole foods. I feel like it really helps you feel overall energized. You don't feel sluggish. And I always pay attention to my body when I'm eating something that is full of sugar or just processed. I do not feel like my best. I honestly don't. I actually feel more depleted and tired. So drinking more water and eating more whole foods is really great in a combination of just exercising regularly too. So number four is really important. This is how you're going to recover from eating and working out and drinking water at night. You want to make sure that you're prioritizing your sleep, so set a goal to get seven to eight hours of quality sleep. This means your phone is turned off or at least turned on. Do not disturb, and you're able to sleep throughout the night. And when you wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, we're not grabbing our phones. I've been guilty of this though. But if you find yourself grabbing your phone in the middle of the night and you're scrolling on social media, I want you to put your phone in a different room so you're not tempted to grab the phone and scroll and you can actually enjoy a full night of sleep. So I've been doing this lately. I've been charging my phone at night and putting it in my bathroom. That way I'm not tempted to grab it on my nightstand. So make sure that you're prioritizing your sleep so you can feel like your best when you wake up in the morning. And speaking of waking up in the morning, practice mindfulness or meditation. Number five, meditation has been part of my journey for the past 10, 15 years. And I feel like just dedicating 10 to 15 minutes a day, it really reduces the stress. It helps improve your mental clarity, and it also helps you connect with yourself. Like on a higher level. You're able to make decisions that Serves your higher self. You're able to just live a better quality life because you're actually setting the tone at your pace and meditation and just practicing mindfulness. It's really great just overall for your mental health. So practice, practice, practice meditation. Number six, which goes back into prioritizing sleep, is take regular breaks from screens. So set a daily goal to take 10 minutes of resting your eyes, reducing digital fatigue. Improving. If you're constantly staring at your phone or you're constantly staring at your iPad or laptop, make sure that you're actually taking the proper breaks to relieve that. Because staring at a screen all day or just scrolling, you know, on social media is really not good for your, your health overall. It's not good for your mental, it's not good for your eyesight. So you want to make sure that you're taking care of yourself and give yourself a break. If your job requires you to be on a computer all the time, just try to get those breaks in between when you can and just know that it's baby steps, you know. Number seven is to track your fitness progress. This goes back into exercising regularly and eating healthy and drinking water. Track your fitness progress. Track your overall health. So keep like a fitness journal or you can keep like a fitness app to track your workouts, your meals and health progress throughout the month. You can do it the old fashioned way and write, write down everything that you're doing. If your goal is to eat healthier or just, you know, tone up or just like look and feel your best, like track it, it's really good because you're able to see like the difference throughout the month. You're able to see the progress and you're able to reward yourself when you make and meet those goals in life. Number eight, visit your doctor for a checkup. I talk about this often, but schedule like a necessary doctor's appointment or get like a health screening that you may have been putting off. And ladies, you know, annually get those checkups. Make sure that you're checking in with your doctor to see that everything looks according to how it's supposed to look. Get the blood work done. If you're looking for a doctor, I love zocdoc. It's a great app that you can download and find like a doctor in your area and usually you can get appointment within 24 hours. And that's how I've been able to find doctors in my area and schedule appointments when I need to. So this is your friendly reminder to get those checkups and just take extra precautions like just you know, take, take extra care of yourself. Moving into number nine is let's talk about like wealth goals. We talked about health goals and I want to cover like all areas, health, wealth, happiness and new opportunities. So let's talk about wealth goals. Create a budget. Set a budget this month. Start small and commit and stick to it. Track your income, track your expenses. Yes, Amazon is like on the phone and it's so easy to have Amazon come to your house every single day. I am guilty of that. But I want you to start tracking your daily spending. I want you to create a budget and set like a budget for yourself. Like how much money you want to save, how much money you want to spend, how much money you're bringing in. Track it. Create a budget around it. You can do it. This is going to push you towards those goals that you're setting for yourself. If your goal is to buy a house this year, you need to know what money is coming in and out. You need to know your income, you need to know your expenses. You need to create a budget around that. If your goal is to buy a brand new car or to buy a luxury big purchase. It could be a piece of jewelry, it could be a new handbag, or to go on a luxury vacation, you need to know how much money you are spending, how much money you're making. You need to create a budget so you can actually plan according to those expenses that may be small or big. Doesn't matter, just create a budget. Number 10 is save a percentage of your income. Decide on a percentage of your income to save each month. It could be 10%, 20% for emergencies or your future goals. Just create a percentage that you feel comfortable and save it. So if you make $1,000 a week, save 10% of that, which would be $100 and put it in a savings account and you don't touch it. And once you reach your future goal of how much money you want to save, you can use it towards whatever it is that you desire. So save a percentage and your future self will thank you later. Number 11, start investing now. This is something that I want you to do research on. I'm not an expert, but if you haven't already, set a goal to research and begin investing in yourself. One thing I do know for sure, a financial advisor is always great to have and they can give you knowledge. You can learn about how you can invest. Whether you want to invest in stocks, funds or other assets, even starting small can make a huge difference long term. One of the books that I've Read many years ago I talked about this on My Life before is called the Automatic Millionaire by David Bogg. And it talks about like how the average next door person was a millionaire because they didn't have any debt. They paid off their house, they paid cash for their cars, but they were able to do that because they invested and they saved over time. So you can do that too. Start investing, but do your research. Make sure that you're comfortable with whatever it is that you're investing in. And you can start small. It doesn't have to be a large lumps of money. It could be $100 a week or $100 a month, it doesn't matter. But just start investing and saving towards whatever it is that you desire to save towards. Invest in number 12. Cut unnecessary expenses. Identify areas where you can cut back on spending. It could be subscriptions that you no longer use or need. Redirect that money into your savings or investments. A lot of times we sign up for things in the beginning of the year and we completely forget about them. Or we download this app on our phone and we completely forget that we have the app on our phone. And every month it could be 99 cents, it doesn't matter. But 99 cents is still being taken out of your account. Cut it out. Any expenses that you just no longer need, cut it out. So I want you to get your bank statement or just look in your phone and look at the expenses that are coming out of your account and see what you can cut back on. Just take like an extra 30, 40 minutes of your time throughout the day to see what areas in your life that you're spending unnecessary money on. And then use that money towards saving, towards investments or just like your Future retirement number 13, increase your income. Yes, we create and generate wealth. Increase your income. Set a goal to find ways to boost your income. Saving is great, but you know what's even more greater? Making more money. Increase your income. Find ways that you can make extra money. Social media is a great way to increase your income. I feel like today it's so easy to discover different ways to generate extra money. So go online and just do some research. You can either create income through becoming a content creator or a YouTuber or maybe you want to start your own store. I love Shopify. It's a great way to create your online business. You can generate a lot of money and you can use social media to generate money. You can use social media to bring customers to your website. It's so many different ways that you can create and increase your income. So set a goal to find ways to do that. Take the time, research. You can spend 30 minutes a day just researching and whatever feels good to you. Lead with that. You can always adjust but increase your income. We make money as goddesses. We attract abundance in our life. We create wealth and how we do that is by increasing our knowledge, getting educated on how we can make more money and what areas that we need to cut back, what areas we need to invest in and increasing our income. So increase your income. Set a goal this month to find ways to increase number 14 pay down debt Create a strategy to reduce or eliminate debt. Focus on whatever high interest credit cards or loans you have first. Focus on that and bring that debt down to eliminate it. So this right here is going to take time. I want you to create a financial plan goal of how you can pay down your debt. If you need to look online and find teachers who teach how you can actually pay down debt at your pace. I'm not telling you to go and pay for a program or a course, but I'm telling you to educate yourself. You can go to YouTube.com or you know, read books, go to the library and find ways that you can create a strategy to eliminate debt. McDonald's meets the Minecraft universe with one of six collectibles and your choice of a Big Mac or 10 piece McNuggets with spicy nether Flame Sauce. A Minecraft movie only in theaters. 15 is create an emergency Fund Set a goal to build or strengthen your emergency funds by saving a certain amount each month. So if you know your cost of living costs, maybe 5,000amonth, I want you to have six months of that in your emergency fund minimum. In the worst case scenario if something wants to happen, maybe you lose your job or maybe you get six sick and you're not able to work as often. You have a safety net. You have emergency funds that you can use in the event of an emergency. We're not using this to go on vacation with. This is your emergency fund. We're not using this to go shopping with. This is your emergency fund. So create an emergency fund. Build it up and how you can create it is just look at how much it costs for you to live on a monthly basis and I would have a minimum of six months of that set aside that you do not touch. Number 16 is to track your net worth, evaluate your net worth at the start of the month and set a goal to Increase it by the end of the month, whether it's through savings, investing or earning more. Now this is something I would advise you to get with a financial advisor and to work on this with someone who can really look at your finances overall. And this is going to just take time and it's going to be more personal and customizable to you as an individual. But just take the time to evaluate your net worth, know how much money you're you have. And I think it's really important, it's healthy to look at that and you know where you stand financially. So a goddess creates wealth and she creates wealth by staying educated and knowledgeable and having people around her that is going to support her wealth, her wealth goals in life. So I really encourage you to find someone who is smarter than you when it comes to money that can help you manage and make positive decisions with your money. Let's talk about happiness. Okay, we talked about health goals, we talked about wealth goals. Now we're talking about happiness goals. And number 17, practice gratitude. Practice gratitude. Start a daily gratitude practice. I already know you probably do this, so this is just a gentle reminder if you haven't been doing this lately is to continue practicing daily gratitude. Whether it's journaling in the morning or simply taking a few moments each day to reflect on what you're thankful for. I am thankful for the amazing women who tune in to have us of the Goddess podcast. I'm thankful for this amazing community that not only show that I have been pouring and investing into this amazing podcast, but it also shows like hey, like look at what I can create just from my own thoughts, just from my own inner being. And to me that's very powerful. So taking a moment to express gratitude for the things that is going perfectly fine in your life and things that is helping you elevate is so important. So take time for that. Number 18 is make time for self care. Your self care is a priority this month. Set aside time each week for activities that nourishes your mind, body and soul. Goddess like taking a bath. But not just any kind of bath. Like you're actually soaking and you're lighting a candle and maybe you have some meditation or jazz or something very light music playing, that's part of your self care. Having beautiful fresh flowers once a week, that's part of your self care. You're pouring back into yourself or reading or just spending time outdoors. Like making sure that you are taking care of you is so important. Number 19 is strengthening relationships. I want you to reach out to friends or family you haven't connected with in a while and set a goal to have meaningful conversations and plan quality time together. Your happiness is important and you need people in your life that is a reflection of where you're at today. So today you're on this journey of elevation. You're on this journey of happiness. You're on this journey of creating abundance in your life. And I want you to have people that are on that journey with you too. So take, take the time to reach out to those friends or family you haven't connected with in a while and have those conversations that are so enriching to your life. Number 20 learn something new. I want you to commit to learning a new skill or a hobby this month. It could be creating something like painting or learning a new language, or improving your cooking skills in the kitchen. Like learn something new. I want you to learn something that is going to just bring you extra little joy throughout life. So learn something new now. We talked about happiness goals, we talked about wealth goals and health goals. We're going to talk about new opportunity goals. This month I'm attending the Podcast Movement in Chicago. Last month I was there in la. I. I apologize. Last year I was there in LA and it was amazing networking event. So I'm looking forward to meeting new people and just learning and just honestly having the best time of my life at the Podcast movement. So I'm actually packing and getting ready for that in the morning. I have my flight, a very early flight, and I'm really looking forward to meeting some of my lovely listeners. I'm looking forward to having the time of my life at the Spotify party. They always host a Spotify party for the podcasters and this opportunity came to me when I created Habits of a Goddess. I would have never known about this opportunity. So attending networking events set a goal to attend at least one. Either it could be virtual or in person. But I really encourage you to attend like an in person event because this will help you connect people in real life and it will help you expand your connections. A lot of times we see people online who have these amazing opportunities, whether they're on a brand trip and the brand trip pays for everything, or they're getting PR packages or maybe their business, their online business really took off and that's because they are getting out, they're leaving the house and they're connecting with people in real life. And when you do that, you're building like a genuine connection and people can speak for you in rooms that you're not in. They'll think of you because they'll remember the connection that they had, and they'll also remember how they can help serve and help you manifest your goals for the month. So make sure that you're going to these events with the mind of connecting with people and new opportunities that's going to help you reach your goals. Another way to meet your goals for new opportunities is Apply for new roles or projects if you're looking to grow your career.

Or set a goal to apply for a new job opportunity, such as freelance work. Or just set aside projects that aligns with your passions. This is so important when you're passionate about your job, your career. You want to make sure that you are pursuing roles that's going to help you grow in that space that you're in. And if you work from home or if you're self employed, if you're a content creator or if you're a podcaster, it's so important that you are constantly applying yourself to work with brands that align with you, that aligns with your vision for yourself. So new opportunities comes to those who seek those opportunities too. So put yourself out there in those spaces to create new opportunities. Last but not least, step out of your comfort zone. Set a goal to try something new that scares you. This can be public speaking. This could be taking a leadership role or traveling somewhere new. If you want to travel somewhere new this month, book that trip. Book it. Make it a solo trip. If you're like, okay, I've been wanting to travel, but I'm afraid to go by myself. Book the trip. Be very aware of your surroundings. Obviously, if you're going somewhere solo, you never want to tell someone you're traveling alone. But like, book the trip. Put yourself in new environments and then you make friends, you meet people. When you're in new places, you're more open. Make your make sure that you're more approachable by greeting the world with a warm smile. Greeting the world with the attitude of I'm excited to step outside of my comfort zone because I know this is going to grant me new opportunities. Think like that when you are navigating the space of creating opportunities for yourself this month. Also invest in your personal development. This could be enrolling in an online course, a workshop, or a seminar to enhance your skills, and this will help open doors for new opportunities when you set yourself up for success. That's what you attract when you're very intentional with your goals. Like, April is the time to focus on your health, your wealth, your happiness and your opportunities. So taking small, consistent steps towards the life you want to live is going to open those doors for you. You're setting that attention and I want you to remember that you are the creator of your own reality. When you are happy, you attract the best scenario for yourself. So focus on your happiness, focus on your health, focus on your wealth. Everything will start to fall in alignment for you when you focus on those areas of your life and you will start to see your goals manifest for you. Remember, this is a journey and I'm very excited and proud to say that. Like, I've been on this journey for almost five years with Habits of the Goddess podcast, and every day I learn something new. Every day I'm learning something new. I'm learning different ways to create. And I feel like my style is developing over time. Just me as a person in general is developing over time. The way I think, the way that I'm able to articulate myself, the way I'm able to show up in the world. And the people who I attract, the listeners who I attract to this very podcast will receive that message because they're open to the energy that I'm putting out there.

Pay attention to your body. Pay attention to your energy. Pay attention to your happiness. Pay attention to the opportunities that's around you. Opportunities are available to those who seek seek opportunities. Opportunities are available to those who seek opportunities. There's never a shortage on opportunities. There's never a shortage on money. There's never a shortage on feeling good. You create the energy. You create the motion. You create the opportunity by your thoughts.
