My mission for whoever is listening to this podcast is that you find ways to empower yourself, attract the life you desire and feel, love and supported. On this self love journey, I have experienced a new way of opening up to the endless possibilities of healing and growing through sharing my voice. I'm your host Jasmine Rasko and today's episode we'll be talking about how to cultivate a growth mindset for lasting change. Also, if you're enjoying the podcast, don't forget to give Habits of a Goddess Podcast a five star review on Spotify or Apple Podcasts. I love reading the reviews you guys leave. It means the world to me to see how truly the podcast has made a positive impact in your life. And when you leave a review, it helps other goddesses discover the podcast too. As you're sitting here tuning in to this episode, you May be driving in the car on the way to work, or if you're on the way to Pilates, or you're sitting at home and you're doing your self care, you're sitting skincare routine or doing your makeup or whatever it is that you're doing. While you're tuning into this episode, you particularly have tuned in because you value the growth journey that you're on. You desire to change whatever it is in your life you want to improve. When I think of personal development journey, I think of someone who is open to change. I think of someone who isn't fixed mindset wise that they're open to change. They don't think of failure as I'm not good enough. They have a mindset of failure gives me feedback, it gives me data on how I can improve and move throughout life. Like, I have this new wisdom that I've gained and I wouldn't have gained it if I wouldn't have taken on this challenge. So why is a growth mindset such a big deal when it comes to personal growth? Think about it in this way. If you're someone who has a fixed mindset, every challenge becomes a threat to you because your mind is fixed and you don't want to grow, you don't want to adapt to new change. But if you start thinking, if I fail at this, it means I'm not good enough, that stunts your growth, that keeps you stagnant in life. Instead of thinking that you're not good enough, think of this is tough, but it's a chance for me to learn and improve because that's what life is about. We all go through different challenges throughout life, but the most important thing is is that you learn to adapt to change. You learn to grow. You learn to understand what it is that you are experiencing and that you use that opportunity to grow on your journey. Use the opportunity to work on yourself, to become the best version of yourself. I know it's not easy when you're embracing failure, but here's the thing. Failure is actually essential for growth. Without it, there's no real progress. If you've never experienced hardship in your life, there's no real progress on your journey. When you fail, you learn what doesn't work. Just like a relationship. If a relationship doesn't work out for you, you take that lesson that you learned in a relationship and you improve and you move forward in life. Now you have feedback, now you have contrast. Now you know exactly what you want and desire moving forward into a new relationship or job. If you experience and you don't necessarily desire the current job you have. And you decide, this is not for me, you want to move in a different direction. Now you understand that this doesn't work and what's going to help improve and work in your future, and you have that feedback. But if you've never taken that chance to go after that job experience, working there, getting the wisdom, getting the tools and the knowledge, how do you know if it's going to work for you or not? It brings you closer to figuring out what works for you relationship, personal and professional. You get to understand what serves you and what helps you become your greater self. When we practice learning and being persistent, we can achieve anything in life. It's so simple, but it's very effective. Think about a time in your life where you had a challenging moment and it really took a toll on you, but you did not let it take over. You did not create a home in that challenge. You learned to grow. You learned to use the tools that you gain, the new key of wisdom that you gain and you take that with you on in life. We carry so much throughout life, but make sure you're carrying wisdom with you. Make sure you're learning from your mistakes and you're applying to your life and you're making changes that's going to evolve you overall as a person. A growth mindset is the belief that you can improve your abilities through effort and learning and you can shift your perspective by embracing on new challenges in life. So view mistakes and failures as an opportunity to learn and not as a setback. There's never a chance where you cannot improve. You can always improve in your life. You can always take small steps towards your bigger goals in life and celebrate them along the way. Because every step four counts. As long as you're not stagnant and you're moving forward in life, you're going to be growing and improving and becoming the best version of yourself through life challenges. Staying stagnant isn't going to help you develop your mental, emotional or spiritual. You have to move forward through life. I gave you guys an example. Almost a year ago, I was in LA at the Podcast Movement Conference and I had to figure out how I was going to move forward with Habits of a Goddess podcast because the previous platform that I used to record was no longer going to be available for a creator. Like, if you had a podcast on this particular platform at the time, it was no longer going to be available to you. So that means all of your hard work would not be available to you. If you stayed on that platform because that platform was not going to exist at a certain time. And I knew that I needed to move forward in my industry. I knew I needed to adapt to change. I knew I needed to take on a new platform to record Ready to.

Off your first box habits of a Goddess Podcast and I didn't want to lose any of my hard work that I, you know, grew on this platform for the past almost five years now. So I flew out to California and I had a million meetings, but there's one particular meeting that was the most important of all of them and it was with Spotify. And I was able to meet a very important contact and I was able to get the right information that I needed to move forward in my podcast journey. And I had to apply myself. I had to qualify because they only took on so many podcasts that met their requirements for them to represent. And I met all of those requirements and I'm very grateful for that opportunity because there was a time where I thought I wasn't good enough. There was a time where I thought that I didn't have the wisdom or the tools or the information to sustain in this community, in this industry. But I learned that I needed to grow. I need to place myself in those environments that will teach you when challenges happen in your business what to do. And so I was able to take on the challenge of discovering a new platform and I also had to learn how to use the platform. So it took me almost six months to learn how to re record, how to add the music and how to edit and how to add this, the whatever I needed to add. It was a transition that was challenging for me. And if you've been listening to Habits of a God's podcast for the past several years, I'm pretty sure you noticed when that change happened and throughout the podcast. And I had to realize that this was a moment that was going to redefine and rebrand who I was. I'm not afraid of change. Sometimes I need a little pushing, sometimes I need a little encouragement, but I'm not afraid to change. I'm not afraid to adapt when when it's needed the most in my personal development journey. And I know that you're not afraid of change and you're not afraid to adapt in a new environment because you are tuning into this very episode and it's resonating with you. If you didn't resonate with this podcast, then you wouldn't be here. But you're excited, you're eager. You're ready to learn how to move forward and navigate through your life challenges. And just like you, just like me, everyone goes through life challenges, but it's how you navigate through them. Navigate through life challenges with grace, with the mindset of I'm ready to learn. I'm ready to take on everything that I've learned in the past and apply it and use it for my greater good and use it to become the best version of myself. And so that's what I've been doing ever since. I have found a new way of recording a new platform. I've even educated myself on how to use the platform services. And it has taught me so much. In the span of almost a year, this month will be like a year or so since I discovered the new platform and it's helped me grow as a person.

And it also teaches you like, just because challenges happens in your personal life or business, that doesn't mean you just stop and you accept fate like no, you create your own reality. You create a way for you to thrive in life by not giving up and using all the wisdom that you have. When you start over, you're not starting over at zero. You're starting over with experience. You're starting over with experience in life. So anytime you need a reminder, this is your reminder to stay elevated through your journey by adapting to change and taking on change. Cultivate a growth mindset to last long throughout your journey. Every day you should be learning something new. Every day you should be teaching yourself something new, exposing yourself to something new, exposing yourself to new people, exposing yourself to new environment, exposing yourself, putting yourself out there. Because it helps you reshape your mind and it helps you think differently and have a different perspective in life. And it's good for you overall, just it's just genuinely good for you overall to keep yourself in a growth mindset. When you grow, you show other goddesses it's okay to grow. People are always looking for a reason to change and sometimes you are the reason because you are changing right before other people's eyes. And it's very subtle changes that we make. It's daily habits, working out, drinking more water, taking that Pilates class, getting up a little bit extra early so you can take care of yourself in the morning, meditating, changing the way that you show up in the world, the tone that you set for the day. All of that is helping you become the best version of yourself. Goddess. So take a moment to recognize the changes that you've made this year. We're only in the month of March, so we're like in the first quarter of the year. Take a moment to recognize the changes that you've made so far and ask yourself, is this helping me grow as a person? On a spiritual level, On a we're.

So done with New Year. New you this year it's more you on Bumble. More of you shamelessly sending playlists, especially that one filled with show tunes. Emotional standpoint, on a physical level, financial level, is this helping me move forward towards my desires and goals in life? If it's helping you, then you're on the right path. But if it's not helping you, if it's not adding to you and it's subtracting, then take a moment to look around and adjust. Adjust. If it's not resonating with you, you're not stagnant. Move forward in life. Baby steps. Everything that you do should be adding to your life. It's a growth self paced journey. So take the proper time to look at your life and evaluate it. Are you happy at the journey, the pace that you're going in life? If you're not happy, then adjust. Adjust your tone, adjust the speed, the pace that you're on. Reframe the way you think so you can attract abundance into your life. Reframe the way you think so you can look at challenges not as failures or disappointments, but as embracing them as I can do this, I got this 100%. This is going to elevate me so much in life. This is going to bring me so much wealth, prosperity, joy, happiness, love, success, abundance. To me, look at life in that perspective. The change starts in the mind first and it happens throughout the body and you see it in the physical world. So remember Goddess, when you take ownership in your life, you become the best version of you because you are the creator of your own reality. Remember to be kind and gentle with yourself. I want to leave you with an affirmation that you can repeat throughout the day. Place your hand over your heart and just take a deep breath and breathe and repeat this affirmation after me. Every day I learn something new to elevate my mindset. Every day I learn something new to elevate my mindset. Every day I learn something new to elevate my mindset. Every day you should be learning something new Goddess. So pick up a new hobby, pick up a new book, tune in it to a new episode to learn something new that's going to help you move forward throughout life. The change starts with you. The elevation starts with you. The prosperity starts with you. The love, the joy, the success is all within you and it starts with you when you adapt to change and life. So remember, a growth mindset is going to help you develop and become the best version of yourself. Goddess. Thank you for listening to this episode.
