The Burn it Up tour has a really special place in all of our hearts. Given that it was our, our first real kind of headlining tour. Big, big headlining tour. And you can never sort of recreate that magic of that first time you do something like that. And what it meant to us, what it means to our fans. And when we were looking at that week we're gonna have in August, it's gonna be the Camp Rock 3 premiere which we're producing and doing a cameo in. Then we've got the Disney Legends event out at D23 in California.

Scary in the way that I don't. I. I don't know how Many people go to playback and I don't know how many sing live, but I, I'm gonna guess that not many sing live. And. And if I could go back, I might have done playback because although it turned out well. Yeah, you're like, I'm gonna kill this. I'm gonna crush this. And then at some point when I finished, I was like, I am happy I wore black pants so no one could see how much, you know, like when it was done, I was like, oh my God, thank you.

Plus you were. You were singing a, you know, a classic Bring it on home to me Cook. That's, I mean, a lot of pressure singing a song like that, as always. Yeah, but that's like.

How cool to be in your backyard. Like Kevin said in Vancouver to get up there and sing that and welcome, you know, the, the really. The biggest global sporting event probably tied with. With the cricket World cup and. But it's up there as. As I think the biggest global event and you just rep your country so well.

Like, this thing was less of a tour and more of bringing Lou and the kids and us. Like, they're so excited. There's, you know, out here they have the double decker buses.

They've got like the video games on the bus and we have movie nights. And it's like they're these outdoor. There's lots. It's beautiful outdoor. Like, I don't know how many people. 30,000 people. So it's so much fun. I go. I like, sing with my band that I love. I'm in love with them all. And then we get on the bus and we go to the next place. It's like. Was like our summer holiday, literally. It was like, hey, do you want to. But it's less like a camp thing where I.

I remember being on those double decker buses and driving through the tunnels, like into Switzerland. And like you're like in the front and the. For people that don't know, the double decker buses on top have this like kind of a viewing area in the very front of it. And it was snowing as we like pulled into Switzerland. And it was just like in the first time ever there. And I was just like.

Everyone was in sweaters. It was just so cozy.

It felt like I was pulling into the North Pole. It was incredible.

I've. I've. Dude, I've been. I have so been there. And it's. And at the lounge. It's like a lounge. And if people can. It's always got like these really cool, like ceiling lights.

And you know, the last time we were in one of those buses on tour in Europe was at the start of 2020, actually. And not to make this a morbid story here, but. But it was really the start of. Of what we were calling the tour bug because everyone was getting sick. And we found out a couple weeks later that it was a. It was a global bug that was reaping havoc on the country.

We were in Australia. That's right. And we heard about Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks has this thing. And we were like, whoa, Michael, you

know, my first time seeing you was actually over in the UK. I saw you back in, I think 2010 or 11 at Wembley Arena. And the show is fantastic. This was after Kevin had told me, you must go see Michael Buble live.

It was incredible.

And just fell in love with it. And then years later, we were just talking about this the other day. In 2023, you came up in Vancouver, you brought, brought your family, and we had a great time backstage chopping it up. And then you came out and sang with us. Crushed it, of course. And it really became kind of the inspiration behind our last tour Greens from your hometown tour where we had special guests out almost every night. We had almost 70 something guests. And it was because of you coming out and setting the tone and really, you know, setting the stage for, you know, the inspiration of, of this idea of like bringing people out who touched our journey and our story and influenced us musically. And so thank you for that and for being the. The first of. Of many guests.

Guitar is one of the very few things you could ever find in my house that I've ever been in the world of like musicians because it's. It literally is hanging up with all your signatures.

It's really funny. My kids literally, when they. I said. When they said, what are you doing, Poppy? And I go, oh, I'm gonna go and talk with the Jonas Brothers. They have a podcast. And they were like, oh my God, can we come? And I said, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna do it in my assistant's room. Because, you know, because inside the computer and my son's no goes like, oh, it's on his zoom. They're not like, really there. I was like, no, no. And I said, let's go. And they were like, no, look at the iPad. And that was the answer.

Yeah, exactly. My. Our daughters came in here and said hi before, cuz they Were like they wanted to say hi but you weren't here yet. So they're like, we're going to go to the pool. And they just left. Insurance may all seem the same on the surface, but having insurance isn't the same as having State Farm.

And many artists you'll hear like, you know, Elton John wants his room full of certain roses from and or someone wants only green M and Ms. I ask for is a hockey puck. That's it. Give me a hockey puck from your local team. And so I have this, this wall of all of these really cool hockey pucks from places that you would never think have hockey all these, you know, 50, 60 countries that I've been to.

look, like, when I built the house, the first thing that came. So they dug this massive kind of hole, and then they pulled. They put a Zamboni, and the Zamboni drove down the thing, and they literally built the home around that Zamboni. And so.
