Now, a lot of y' all really seem to enjoy how I've been kicking off the podcast since I came back with kind of like a mental health update. I said, you know, every couple weeks, if I do it, it's not going to be some crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy updates. But I mean, you know, we're going to keep it. We're going to keep true to it. We're going to keep trying to do this thing. So mental health update for this show. Let me switch the camera over real quick. So, mental health update for this show. I'm feeling good since the last show and one of the reasons why is scalpers are getting over. Hear me out. So news broke recently that a scalper who's been buying up for you unaware, right? So if you're trying to build a gaming PC, it can be kind of difficult because GPUs are hard to get. Why? Because cryptocurrency is a big thing. Although I don't know how much longer that's going to be? Because the crypto market is just crashing, crashing, crashing. But yeah, in order to, you know, organically garner crypto, you need powerful gpus to figure out these equations that you need to do. So a lot of these scalpers are buying up these GPUs, or they're just buying them up to kind of resell them. So news broke recently that a scalper says he lost nearly $23,000 due to GPU prices returning back to normal. So you got people out here trying to scam the community, getting payback because things are starting to become normal again for whatever reason. So my mental health is in a great place because a lot of times my friends make fun of me because I still got a 2080 in my PC. Although, you know, RTX 2080 is still a high end card. It's not the greatest. The 30, the 30 series is the latest. But my friends make fun of me. You know, they call me Po. I just don't see a reason to upgrade at least for like another probably four or five years. But the funny part is I have a 3080. It's in my laptop. Shout out to Alienware because they sponsor me. But yeah, I have a 3080. It's just on my laptop. I take it on the move. But anyways, I didn't be using that though, but I got it. But anyways, yeah, shout out to the scalper. Tough luck, buddy. Like I, I literally work every day this week from Monday to why I had Saturday off and then I had to work again Sunday. But I worked five days this week and then got Saturday off and then I had to work Sunday. I usually get weekends off, so I'm a little bit more tired than usual because I usually get the whole weekend off. But I didn't whatever I had to show up for the, the Bethesda Showcase. The Bethesda Xbox Showcase. Had to show up to the G4 studio because we were doing like a live watch along and. And we'll get into that later. Before we do, quick few updates about what I've been watching. I know people always are curious. Oh, what's, what's new, what's hip, what's put us on to something. Saturday I did get a chance to see the new Jurassic World movie. Jurassic World Dominion. If you're looking for Something to watch. Would I recommend it? I'm not gonna lie. I mean, if you haven't seen it already, like week one, week two, it should still be full price. If you go week two, I would wait like another week or whatever. Wait till like the price or. Or week two is when usually you start to get those Sunday specials. I usually go to the movie theater on a Sunday, like, and do the early bird special because they do five dollar tickets. Okay. How much money I make, I'm want to do. So, like, yeah, I would say if you can get tickets to this for the lolo, or 1, 2, 3. But that's not the point. If you can get tickets for the lolo, I would say go see this. But do you need to absolutely go see this movie, full price? No, it's a good movie. If I had to rate it out of 10, I'd give it like a six. Five or six. Five or six. It's like a six. Not going to lie. It's a good. It's a good popcorn flick. Turn your brain off. Go with a friend. Go with you with, you know, significant other or whatever. Turn your brain off. Watch some dinosaurs fight. Watch some. Watch a movie about an evil corporation. I'm not going to spoil nothing but evil corporation, dinosaurs fighting and stuff. But if we're keeping it real from, like an analytical standpoint, which is, this is funny, by the way, the person I went to go see it with, they're completely biased. They. They actually are. Is it a paleontologist or whatever? Whatever you call the people that dig up the dinosaur bones or whatever, they actually work in that field, and they love dinosaurs. They specifically work in that field of digging up dinosaur bones. So, like, they were completely biased. They love dinosaurs. And that person rated it a 9 out of 10. And she was like, what did you think of the movie? And I was like, that was like a six, bro. What the. Were you watching the same movie, bro? You are so biased. It's one of those things I had that. That reconfirmation that, like, everybody does not need to review, bro. Like, some of y' all need to keep your opinions to yourself. Like, even, like, for something like Mass Effect where I'm like, a super fan, I was still completely unbiased. If you go back and watch my Mass Effect Andromeda review, like, I still pick that game apart. But the reason. The reason I even brought. I said a six, though, is just, like, a lot of Hollywood cliches in it. Just a popcorn flick. The acting was, like, average at best. It was a lot of cheesy lines and, like, writing and stuff. And then the plot wasn't anything particularly interesting. It just kind of got you from point A to B. Very predictable. But it's fun. I'll say that it's fun. I would equate it to, like, Transformers. Like, you remember the Transformers movies? Just turn your brain off, you know, watch some dinosaurs fight and, and eat some Twizzlers and, and you'll be all right. But don't go into this thinking this is going to blow your mind. The only thing that, like, I really wish they would stop doing this. Like Chris Pratt, like, come to the video version and see what I'm talking. But when he puts his hand out, if you see like the previous ones, I really wish it's my camera focus up. He does that all throughout the movie. That is corny, bro. And there's one particular scene, like, towards the end of the movie where like multiple people do it at once and I'm just like, bro, like, this. Does this dude equip with the dinosaur force? I don't know. I. But like I said, I'd say go see it. But see it if you can, like, get some cheap Sunday tickets for like five bucks or, you know, if you find it on 1, 2, 3. Allegedly. But anyways, yeah, that's. That's my quick little review of it. I might do a full blown review on my second channel. I'm just saying I haven't put a video up there. Although I have a video upload. I haven't put a video up in a week. I just. Because, like, last week was, like, really rough for me with the G4 stuff. I'm busy with work, so. Yeah, shout out to Jurassic World. Dominion aside, a Black Adam trailer dropped. Actually, let me see, let me pull this up. Black Adam is a new anti hero superhero movie starring the Rock or something. I don't know. I mean, I'm familiar with this character. I know he's a big villain for Shazam or. But I'm not too familiar. I'm not too familiar with, like, a lot of his storylines. I just know that he's affiliated with that character and he's dc. I mean, he's got a cool character design, but do I really care about him that much? Not really. Mainly because, like, I don't know, man. Like, I feel like the Rock plays the same character in every movie. Like, I. I don't know, maybe there's a movie I haven't seen with the Rock in it, but his acting chops Aren't the greatest? Like, he's great for action films. And I mean, this is an action film, but, like, I feel like there's gonna have to be a little. Especially because they're trying to sell the. They're kind of taking the morbius angle with this. Like, oh, is he a good guy or is he a bad guy? And from my con, from my understanding, from the comic books, he. He does. Sometimes he does good things, sometimes he does bad. He's an anti hero kind of in between. So it's like, does he have the acting chops to pull off that level of emotion? Not that it's that much deeper than Fast and the Furious, but I don't know. It's probably a little bit deeper. I could be wrong. This might be the perfect role for him. I'll probably still go see it. I'm probably just talking. I'll probably still go see it. Not day one, though. This is looking like a go watch it on a Sunday for $5 at 11am Type beat. Or 1, 2, 3. Allegedly. Yeah, but they announced that. I don't know. Y' all let me know in the comment section. YouTube.com Okagi Thoughts? Are y'. All. Are y' all excited about this movie? I think I'm, like, superheroed out and we're gonna get into that later. That may. That might be what it is too. And it's funny because another superhero movie was announced as well. Joker 2 has been confirmed. Joker director Todd Phillips is co writing the sequel right now. Joker1 was actually really good. I actually enjoyed that movie. And obviously he's not a superhero, he's a villain. But I. I feel like. I feel like now that we have Joker 2 coming on the way, I always thought it was going to be a one and done movie. I feel like there's a lot of potential for this movie to be a complete and utter disaster. And the reason being is the Joker worked because it was an origin story. It didn't need Batman. But how many Joker movies are we gonna make where Batman is not involved? Because from my understanding what I read that Joker does not exist in the dcu. The main continuity with, like, the Justice League and stuff. And then that Joker also is not a part of the same universe as the Batman, which is the recent Batman movie, which takes place, like, on Earth 2 or whatever. That's a completely different Batman from the DCU. So which Earth is this Joker? Is he on Joker? Is he on Earth 3? But also, like I said, it worked. The original film worked because it was an origin story. But also it had, like, a great message. If you haven't seen the movie, kind of the. The. The moral of the story is people should take mental health more seriously, but also be careful how you treat people. I think that was the main moral of the story. Be careful how you treat people because it can end up backfiring. And that worked for a one and done. That worked. It had a solid message in it. But if Batman's not gonna show up in this, what are we doing here? Like, is the Joker just gonna run around and cause carnage? Are we gonna just have more people continue to be mean to him? Because it's not going to hit the same. It hits. It hits because the first time, because he wasn't the Joker and then he becomes it, right? It's not gonna hit the same when he's actually already the Joker and everybody's just being mean to him and like that. So, like, they gotta find a way to implement Batman into this. Otherwise, why are we doing this? I don't know. It's one of those things. It's like, does it. Does it really need to be made? But you know how Hollywood is, man. Something starts making money like, oh, well, we might as well keep making it. Speaking of might as well keep making it and Hollywood, I got another. A lot of movie talk today. A lot of movie talk, ladies and gentlemen. I don't know if you guys saw, but I'm gonna go ahead and put it out here on the Twitter. On the Twitter, on my podcast that all the Morbius jokes are officially dead. I'm not gonna lie. The Morbius memes are funny as. Bro, I don't know where this meme came from, but Morbius is so bad. For those of you unaware that it's morbid time, like, became like a meme online. And like, people hated this movie so much, they started live streaming it on Twitch for, like, it livestream for like 12 hours straight before Twitch caught it and took it down. And the whole chat was just spamming. It's morbid time. It's morbid time. And then people. The funniest is people have been making edits. If you go on YouTube and search, it's morbid time. Like edits or something like that. I've seen it's a morbin time where, like, they put Morbius inside of end game and like, instead of Iron man, it's Morbius holding, like the. The glove and. And then Thanos tries to snap and then he's like, it's morbid time. Or like, they made like the Morbius 3DS game and then the Morbius Wii U game, and they just edit the scenes into the games and like that. It's so funny, the level of hatred. You have to respect the Internet's level of hatred for it and deserving. So this movie's horrible. I watched it, if you didn't know. I did a review on it. If you check out my second channel. I'm just saying I did a review on it. But yeah, the jokes are officially dead for the simple fact that Jared Leto try to get in on the joke where he posted himself sitting on the couch and he has a script in his hand. And the guy that's holding the camera, he's like, hey, what's that, Jared? And then he's like, oh, oh, it's nothing. It's nothing. He tries to hide it, and he's holding a script, which I'm pretty sure is fake, and it says Morbius 2. It's Morbin time. And it's one of those things. It's like, bro, the joke was only funny because we were making fun of you. It's no longer funny because you're trying to get us the laugh with you. No, no, no, no, no. We're laughing at you. You made a stinker in the DC universe and the Marvel Universe, Jared Leto. So. So the joke is no more fun. It's no longer funny. It's dead. So I. That being said, I had to get, like, my last little it's morbid time joke off right here. I seen Chaos make this damn picture. I don't know. I don't know what the he did to do this, but he put me on that joint and said it's more of a time. But that's not the last piece of Morbius news that I have for you. So, yeah, let's quit the jokes because Sony thinks that you guys are serious. But shout out to the Internet, man, you guys keep fighting the good fight, because this is also funny too. So. So after all the memes on Twitter and the edits on YouTube and just it's Morbid Time becoming this international sensation, Sony thought that people actually liked Morbius. They didn't understand the joke. So what they did is they decided to release Morbius into theaters again last week. They released it into the theaters, into a thousand theaters in the US or whatever. And. And what happened was I. I could be wrong. Feel free to research this and correct me in the comment section@YouTube.com hokagethoughts I could be wrong, but I think Morbius might be the first film to ever go to theaters and fail twice in theaters. So this is what happened. They thought because of the means, people loved it, so they put it back in theaters for people to watch. And the movie only made $85,000 that week in. That's horrible for, like, movies. So this movie flopped twice. So shout out to the Internet, you know. You know, the funniest part is I wish I could find this meme. I saw it on YouTube. It showed up in my feed, like, randomly. Somebody posted a meme, and they were like, hey, Sony, everybody on Earth was busy that weekend. When you guys re released Morbius into theaters, could you guys put it into the theaters a third time? They were trying to bait Sony into doing it a third time so we could flop a third time. I'm like, yo, the Internet is funny as, bro. If you have not seen the memes, please look them up on YouTube. All the Morbius edits. They're freaking hilarious. Shout out to Morbius. Failing twice in a row. The movie's not good. Nobody likes it. Sony, please stop. I watched it. It is one of the worst superhero movies I've ever seen for a multitude of reasons. And I break it down, and I'm just saying. So, yeah, shout out to Morbius Man. You guys just keep losing. Just keep on losing. All right, man, let's talk about some stories. But before we do some actual other stories that involve movies, let me take a sweet. I just poured some of this on myself by itself. It looks like I'm drinking piss. I'm not. I swear to God, I didn't pee in a bottle. It's. I'm sipping on gamer subs, not water. Because I want to work out after this. I gotta get a sip of that gamer subs. And they get my energy up because it's been a long day. Oh, next story. I got all types of random stories, so hang in there with me. Chat listeners or whatever. I don't know. This podcast sucks. Rated 5 stars. IOS 16, it's coming. Comes with a slew of new features, mainly dealing with customization and stuff. That stuff's pretty cool. But the feature that stood out to me the most, and I'm really surprised I have not seen more people talking about this. The feature that stood out to me the most that's coming to iOS 16 is it will allow you to edit and unsend text messages. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, unsending text messages and editing is coming now. Why is this important? This is Important because everybody, anybody involved in situationships, toxic relationships, this is going to take the toxicity to the next level. Because you negroes and you ratchet ass hoes is gonna start editing messages on sending. Gonna be screenshotting you, editing and unsending. And I'm gonna be 100 here for it. I'm gonna be on social media, looking at the screenshots, just laughing. But like I. Yo, real chat, real talk, real talk. If you watching the video version, I need y' all to predict in the comment section who y' all think gonna be the first rapper to rap about unsending text messages or editing. That was editing tags meant like some future type. Who gonna put that in the bar, bro? Who gonna put that in the bar first? So I'm just letting y' all know, if you haven't seen the news, iOS 16, you can unsend and edit text messages. If you hear some family members or some friends shouting at each other in the house or at an event and you're wondering why, it's probably going to be this shout out to Tim Cook. Which, by the way, shout out to Tim Cook again in Jurassic World Dominion. If you go see the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about. The main villain in the movie looks just like Tim Cook, to the point where I was calling him Tim Undercooked. And when I was in the movie theater, I was like, look at Tim Undercook, the Biosyn villain over here spawning dinosaur clones. And like that, shout out to Tim Undercook. So expect new levels of ratchetness, new levels of arguing. People gonna be in the club, unsending stuff. They're gonna be a dinner. Trying to hide, like, bruh. I mean, you can already unsend messages on Instagram. I see that causing problems, but now it's going to be directly into the phone. I'm curious to see how this is going to work, because I couldn't find anything about how if you edit the messages, will it show that it's edited or will it leave it as? So I'm curious to see. I don't know. I am happy that they're adding edited messages, though, because I'm not gonna lie, my. My autocorrect, it'd be messing my up all the time. And, like, it'd be nice to just edit it instead of sending, like, you know, that asterisk with the correct word. So that's definitely gonna help me. But for people who are toxic, y' all gonna be animals. Y' all gonna be out of control. And an example of what can happen. Actually, this is a great follow up story. An example of what actually can happen when these unsending text messages and the editing text messages actually roll out in io16 is this video right here. So there was a video going viral on social media of this nice young lady. So apparently according to the video, there's no way to confirm this, but according to this video, the man she was with, he cheated. So as revenge, this woman decided to take pick up the vase or the urn that that is, I guess this man that cheated on her when his mom passed away, he had her cremated and he put her ashes in a vase. She took the vase and then she took it to like a nearby river on a bridge. If you're not watching the video version, I'm just going to describe it for you. And. And she poured his mom's ashes out into the river as revenge for cheating on her. Now, cheating is never even. We don't even know if he did, but let's hypothetically say he did. Cheating is never cool, you know, it's not acceptable. You know, if you're not happy with your partner, communicate with that. Let him go. Quit trying to sneak around and all this other stuff because it's only going to cause more problems like this video right here. But that being said, there's no way we can justify what is going on here because this is some next level. Like why couldn't you just do some regular like angry chick like Kia's car, buses, windows and like actually don't do that. Block him like that's regular, right? Just block his ass, right? Like you poured his dead mother's ashes into a river and then like some fish probably swam by and ate his. Y' all remember the fish from the Dreamcast is some fish with like some goofy ass face just pulled up a magic carp, just sucked the ashes up, bro. So I thought this was fake. I thought it was fake, but it turned out it was real. Because you know, they do anything for cloud on social media. Cardi b said it, offset said it. I thought it was fake. And then there was news articles circulating around that it turns out this story is real. And there's the woman's mug shot, y'. All. Oh my God, you can see it in her face. She regrets what she did. She knows she's crazy. She got arrested, man. She got arrested. So justice will be served because this man just vibe this woman just violated this man's entire family. I think the moral of the story is don't make Permanent decisions based off of temporary emotion. I know this man allegedly cheated on you and hurt on. Hurt you, but was it worth it to pour this man's ashes, this woman, this man's mother's ashes into? And you could probably be charged with multiple things for that too. I mean, that's, that's stealing. Does it, does it count as like manslaughter or homicide of the person's already dead? I don't know. That's definitely at least stealing though. She can get hit with that cuz that wasn't her property and she took that out of that man's house. But it turns out it was freaking real. But then you also had to talk about. You also have to talk about why did you record this? Like, yo, the ultimate revenge would have been if you really wanted to do this, take the ashes poured into the river and then just let him figure it out. Don't even tell him, let him figure it out. Or let it like go missing or something like that. But like the fact that you. Or at bare minimum tell him to hurt him if that was your goal, but don't record it. Oh my freaking God. This woman recorded herself committing a crime, had her homegirl do it. And like, yeah, that's gonna show him you gave him the evidence he needed. It just goes to show you how stupid most people are. It becomes more and more current the older I get and just it makes me more and more depressed. Man, the world is a scary place. Hug your family, hug your friends. And also I think the more of the story is, you know, if you did cremate your family members, please don't leave them out in the open because why was it so easy accessible for her to. That's something you put behind like a case behind lock and key. Like, you don't just sit that next to like the family pictures in the wide open. And the reason, it's for a multitude of reasons. Not just so your crazy ex can steal it and pour it in a river, but also like, what if you have like a cat and the cat is like walking around and knocks it over, or your dog or something like that, or the kids are playing in the house, playing, throwing ball or something like that. And then like, you know, your son throws the football and hit your daughter in the face with the football, hits her in the nose and ruined their nose like the, the Brady Bunch and the ball bounces and hits the vase and like, anything could happen. Anything could happen, man. Violence is never the answer, though. Shame. Shame. Well, we all make decisions none of my business. None of my business. Just the social media stuff. This Internet stuff is really good. I'm actually really curious to what she was thinking. Did she think when she posted that video, like, everybody on the Internet was gonna be like, yo, this is lit. Shout out to you? Like, no. People gonna look at you like you're crazy. And speaking of crazy, people are coming for clout. What does that mean? Okay, let me make sure I can get this on the. The right time stamp so y' all can see what I'm saying. People are coming for clout. And when I say come, I mean C U M, not C o M E. Like, you know, ejaculate. Skisky. That's what we used to call as a kid, Skisky. So I'm on YouTube, right? My YouTube recommendations are so random. It's mostly. Well, no, it's not. It's mostly like Sonic videos. I watched one sonic video video and my entire just thing is up. But it's mostly gaming videos mixed in with like, life commentary videos and relationship videos and then also, like, you know, motivational videos. But randomly, I got recommended this video from this gentleman, Nico's aesthetics. And I clicked it because it caught my attention and said, only Fans content is going too far. I said, God damn, what are they doing on Only Fans now? I don't know. I don't pay for that. I don't simp. I don't. And it turns out. Can y' all see that on the. Let me make sure you can see that right there. There's no reason to play the video. You can just see the. Look at the tweet on the top left. But okay, so the gist of the video is this guy talks about. About it. Nico is. I guess it came across his Twitter feed and he wanted to share it. That apparently people are posting. Well, I want to say people. This person that they found is posting on his only fans for attention and clout him going around whatever city he's from, pulling out his wiener and beating his meat and coming all over people. This is wrong on so many different levels. A. What type of scumbag do you have to be to ejaculate on somebody who's probably at their lowest point in their life? They're probably. They don't have a job. They might be an alcoholic, they could be a drug addict. You know, they could have mental issues just going through it. And like, what type of stain do you have to be to where you feel the need to walk up to such defenseless people? Because a lot of times society over steps over these people, especially in. They're invisible. They're there but not there, if you catch my drift. These. You're going to invisible people who can't defend themselves and just coming all over them. That's weird. And then two, why did you think people want to watch that? Like, why did you. Well, I guess somebody. I don't. I don't. Because they might just be a subscriber. I want to say people paid specifically like that somebody might have already been subscribed to this content create. And I use with quotation content creator. And it just ended up on their feed. But like, why would you think that people were. Did you think you were going to turn this into a series coming on the homeless? Like, what the fuck are you talking about, dude? And then three, we got to talk about it. Because judging by this outfit. Because I didn't. I didn't. I could search. You could search this tweet if you want to. I'm not going to this tweet. I'm not going to look at this video. Judging by the screenshot we got here, I'm seeing what looks like some Jordan ones and it's a cargo pants. The frame, it looks like a man. We gotta ask, man. It's like, yo, does this make the dude gay? Just curious. We gotta ask on pride month, does it make the dude gay? I don't care whether or not he is. But like, it's one of those questions, like if. If he. If he identifies as a heterosexual male and then he's walking around his city just coming all over homeless men, does that make him gay? I'm. Because he likes it. I don't know. I'm just. I'm just presenting the question. Kind of weird. Not kind of a lot of weird. And then people are subscribing to this. Whoever's subscribing to this, I hope you're unsubscribing because this is violating people's. This dude was sleep on top of that. Imagine being asleep on the sidewalk at your lowest point in life, just trying to figure out where you want to go and then you wake up in a dinglings hanging over your head and then just all over you, bro. I'm not gonna lie. I probably. I'd probably catch a body. I'm not gonna lie. I. I don't know what I would do that would make me lose my. That might be the thing that pushes somebody over the edge. And then also, it's. It's dangerous for the creator, right? Like I said, you don't know what mental space this person is in. And the reason, like, they could be, like, a drug addict or some like that. Hold on, let me switch my back. But you don't know the mental spaces that person is in. And what I mean is, like, let's say he comes all over the homeless dude, right? It wakes him up because he feels his face is warmer than usual. And then. Then he gets up. And what if he pulls out, like, a hyperthermic needle? Like, what if he pulls out a heroin needle, right? Let's say he's, like, a drug addict. Let's say he pulled out a used heroin needle that still has, like, a little bit of heroin on it. It's got some blood on the tip. And, like, that. You pissed him off so much, he's just like. Because you ever had somebody throw some water on you or, like, smack you in your sleep? You just wake up and, like, you're, like, in defense mode. You don't know what's going on. I was like, sometimes I don't really see the gas prices because I have an electric car. So I don't look up at gas stations like that. But every time I do it like it always gets worse. I'm like, God damn. I was like, you know what's especially crazy? And she was like, what? I was like, $5. When I was a kid, $5 would get you around for like the week. And she was like, what? I was like, yeah. I was like, when I was a kid in the 90s, I was like, I remember when, when gas was below a dollar and I swear to God she like, I'm not even, she wasn't even trolling. Fake Drake has been getting up reportedly $10,000 a show to show up and pretend to be Drake at the club. So fake Drake and fake Dirk, they recently linked up to make a music video and record a song. And it's honestly one of the worst things I've ever heard in my fucking life. The name of the song is Attack, Attack of the Clones, which is a Star wars reference. And obviously because they're clones. And it's seriously one of the worst things I've ever heard. And on top of that, the music video is awful too. The video is, like, washed out because they didn't turn the ISO down. It was shot in Miami, clearly, but they didn't turn the ISO down on the camera, so there's too much light hitting the fucking lens. So it's like all washed out and glared and shit. So the video is shot weird. The vocals, the lyrics, they're awful. And this is just corny. Like, why is this? It's weird to me that, you know, I can get be called, like, a loser or weird because I have opinions about video games. Like, everybody will like a game. That was one of the big events this summer. But the big event that happened today is the. The Xbox slash Bethesda Show Game Showcase, which is basically like, because there's no E3 this year, Xbox Microsoft just decided to do their own little digital event, like a Nintendo direct. Same thing, E3 season, right? And during it, they announced 50 games and the majority of them are coming to Game Pass. I mean we can count them. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 3, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 38 of the 50 games will be available on Game Pass. Give it up for me for knowing how to count, guys. Give it up for me, man. Proving that I'm really out here just doing my thing. So they announced 50 games that are coming to Xbox PC over the next 12 months and 38 of them will be available on Game Pass day one. And this sent the Internet ablaze. I've seen a lot of people say that this showcase was cool. I've seen a lot of. I've seen several people say it was great. It's all over the place. And then I've seen a lot of people said it was just flat out trash. I disagree with that. I don't know how you could call this flat out trash when they announced 50 games with 38 of them coming to Game Pass. So just to, for consistency purposes we. So we did an actual watch along like a reaction at the G4X play channel. We did a live stream of it and we use the 5 system that we use on X Play. So I rated a 3 out of 5 and I'm just saying that for consistency purposes I gave this a three out of five. And what is that? That that equals. Let's see. Let me get my calculator. That's like a 60 something, right? Let's see. Three divided by. Yeah. Points. It's like a 60 something. I don't know bro, but yeah, I think it's like a 65 or some like that. 67. I rated the the Xbox showcase a 3 out of 5 and I actually wrote down some talking points. I'm not gonna just sit on Twitter and run my mouth and spew because like it's yo the console. The older you get, the stupider gets. And don't get me wrong, the stupider this console war gets to me, bro. Don't get me wrong, like I'm all for the jokes but like when I crack jokes about companies, it's coming from a place of love. I want more good games. So like I always try to back it up with like facts and stuff like that. And also I keep the jokes light hearted. Something like, like you remember I used to say during the Xbox One era, Xbox ain't got no games because they didn't have no games. So I'm gonna keep saying it until we speak some games into existence. They're announcing games and people are still complaining. When the Wii U, when the Wii U was a thing, we used to do the sad music because the Wii U didn't have no fucking games. We bullied them, and then we got the switch. We started getting free games. But, yeah, I seen. So I seen, like, the wildest tweet I seen is somebody was like, yo, the. The Xbox showcase was trash tonight. We smoking on that Xbox pack. We smoking on that Bethesda pack. I'm like, bro, is your allegiance to PlayStation that deep? I like this. Is that. Yo, I, I what? Why do you want to see, like, these? You're. Yo, when you say you're smoking on the Bethesda and the Xbox pack, you identify as a PlayStation shooter like sons. I don't know. Because most. You little Internet weirdo, maybe you don't know what you're saying because you've never been outside. You just listen to Lil Durk and all these rappers. But, like, when you say that, that you're saying you're catching a body, like you're saying you're a PlayStation shooter. That is weird. That is weird. But let me tell you why I gave it this. I didn't think it was that great. I didn't think it was bad either. I mean, it was all right. It was all right. To me, it was a three out of five. Okay. And here's why. I have actual talking points instead of saying, we smoking on that. But there's the pack. So first things first. They showcase 50 games and it was pretty much all gameplay. There were only like a couple trailers where, like, it was mainly cg, but it was pretty much all gameplay. You get kudos for that because that's always one of my main complaints. I hate when you show a bunch of trailers at these E3 events and it's nothing but trailers. So I have to give them kudos for showing mostly gameplay, Talking point number two, 50 games, minimal talking. If you haven't watched the presentation, it's mainly just like two hours of. And then this game and then this game world premiere and then this game. There was a couple times where they had developers come out and talk, but it was very brief. It was one to two minutes. Just a little bit of talking, feeding some details, and then here's some more gameplay and here's some more game. So I like that it was Minimal talking. They stuck to letting the content speak for itself. The next positive. Some people didn't like this, but I didn't mind it. They said that these games are all games coming out over the next 12 months. So basically during the last half of this year, the last six months, and then the first half of 2023, so the next 12 months, these are the 50 games you're gonna see from the Xbox. They didn't really show anything that's coming. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. They, they, they're, they showcase games that are going to be touchable in the near future. I like that, I like when you announce games and it's like, oh, by the way, you could play it in four months. We love that. So they showed a bunch of games that you're going to be able to play soon. And then the next, the next thing is the Game Pass. My talking point, 50 games they showcase, 38 will be playable on Game Pass day one. Mind you, Game Pass is $10 a one a month. I'm not gonna lie. This was, this wasn't a great showcase for like huge AAA titles, but it was a great showcase for the Game Pass and how committed Xbox is to it. Right? And that's why, that's why I kind of gave it the score. But like the fact that so many of these games are coming to Game Pass because a lot of these games look good. They look like B tier games that like I wouldn't want to pay $60 for, but I would try them if they're on Game Pass, like they could. And here's the crazy thing, this is how I perceive them. I'm perceiving them as like B tier games. Some of these games might be AAA games, but I just don't want to pay for them because I don't know a lot about them, but they're going to be on Game Pass. And I think that's why this is, this, this presentation is a lowercase W to me because it shows how committed Microsoft is to the Game Pass. I was worried when they first announced this Game Pass stuff that like it was going to become like the Google stadia or on, you guys, remember on Live or Amazon Luna, just another service where they was going to put it out and then kind of abandon it last minute, or not last minute, but just kind of abandon it. I feel like that's what PlayStation, that wasn't that great. But they're trying to get better with it now. So a lot of games on Game Pass. And then my last talking point is we Saw a lot of variety. Now this is an important talking point for me and the reason being is that one of the things that I've learned as I've gotten older in life, and this has nothing to do with video games, this is about life in general, is most people are not capable of viewing the world outside of their lens. And because of that, they tend to view a lot of things more negatively than they need to. Right. Instead of saying something, there's some, there's, there's a difference between something being objectively bad and subjectively bad. Right? Like objectively bad is like the frame rates dropping, the story's horrible, the gameplay is clunky. Those things that are objectively bad. What's subjectively bad is whether if it's a polished game that reaches the threshold, then it comes down to whether or not it's for you. Right? So like I feel like a lot of people, they, they can't, they can't hop out of their lens and say, okay, maybe this is not for me, but this is still good for the industry. That's what I'm trying to get at. They showed a lot of variety. And if you're like a hardcore gamer that likes to play a lot of different things, then I thought this was a good showcase for you. If you're somebody who only plays first person shooters, or you're somebody who only plays RPGs or you're somebody who only plays Madden, or you only play, I don't know, Valorant, you play only very specific types of games, then yeah, this is going to come across as trash for you. But if you remove yourself out of that bias lens and look at it, they showed a lot of really decent games that, that, that add a lot of variety to your catalog. And keep in mind, if you have the game pass, you just download it, you can take it off your hard drive. So some highlights for me that they, that are coming to game pass day one that we, that we didn't know about, those would be the first one and this is one that I feel like is really underrated is League of Legends. This is exclusive to the PC game pass. So League of Legends, if you didn't, if you missed it, basically all the skins in League of Legends, League of Legends, Wild riff and then something else. All the skins and not the skins, all the characters, you get them inside of the game pass. There's 130 champions in league of Legends, bruh. Do you know how much money that costs? Plus I think you get like some skins. And then also because they have this deal with Riot. I'm really curious to see what they do in the future because when that fighting game comes out, if it's a free to play game where you have to buy individual characters like skins or whatever, I'm pretty sure they're gonna add some value there. Like you get all the characters or something like that if you have like game pass or whatever. So, like, whether you care about League of Legends or not doesn't matter. This is important to a lot of people. 130 champions you will get for free in League of Legends. If you have the game pass, that is a big deal. We didn't know about that beforehand, but what about to say redfall looked interesting. It looked like a vampire version of Left for Dead with a little bit of like stealth and stuff like that. Definitely looks like it's gonna be fun. A fun time with friends. We got a look at Flintlock. They announced this game. We didn't know what it was. They announced it a few months ago. We didn't know what it was. It's looking like a. What's the word I'm looking for? Steampunk kind of Souls Born type of game. It looks pretty good. I'm interested in that. That looks like it could be a. AAA level type of game. But let's see what else we got here on this freaking list. This is all over the place. We saw more Overwatch 2 gameplay. It looks better than what they. They showed before. Oh, a Plague's Tell Requiem. I'm playing the first play, the first Plague's Tale. It's underrated. And this new sequel is even bigger. It's looking like it's gonna be good. We saw Diablo 4. Oh, yeah. A new game from. What's that called? From Ninja. Ninja Team. Or is it Ninja Theory? One of them damn ninja teams called Wu. Long Fallen Dynasty. I was getting kind of Ninja Gaiden vibes from that and Lu Boo pulled up. So that looked kind of lit. That looked kind of lit. Oh, yeah, you get the Valorant skins and that. So yeah, you get the. You get the. I'm not this. I keep saying skins characters. You get the League of Legends characters, Wild Rift characters, and Valorant characters, all for free. Oh, and Rune. Legends of Rune. Oh, Persona. They. They. You get all the damn Persona games on Xbox if you have game pass. If that's a lot of content, bruh. Persona playing all the Personas alone is. Is. Is the hundred and twenty that you pay or whatever it costs a year for the game pass. That is a Lot of content, bruh, if you haven't played those games already. So I, I think there's content here and they're adding more. I think it's dope. Atomic Heart looks dope, by the way. But the main, the big one that everybody was talking about during this. Let me take, let me take a swig of this water real quick. The main game that everybody was talking about was Starfield. So Starfield finally got revealed by Bethesda. Let me see if I can pull up the gameplay. Starfield gameplay, have it running in the background. Gamestop trailers. There we go, we got the gameplay. So they finally showed the game. This is the new. This is the first new IP from Bethesda in like 20 years. I believe they built it from like the ground up, like a new engine, Space rpg. From my understanding, this is about the early days of space exploration and just trying to survive and, and there's some good and some bad from this. So I was starting to get a little frustrated with this game because, like, they kept talking about it, but they would never show it. And now that I've physically seen it, I'm like, okay, I see where they're going with this. I'm excited because they said they had like a thousand like procedurally generated planets that you can explore. You have customizable ships. The gameplay, not the gameplay, but the gunplay, it looked average. I feel like they could work on the sound design and the, the, the bullet impact could be a little bit better. It didn't really feel like the guns had as much impact and as they could. And maybe that has something to do with space and like zero gravity, I don't know. But I feel like they can clean up the gun play and then the story. The story is the main thing that's kind of interesting me, cuz like the thing about, like that's great about space games and what I love about Mass Effect is like you're only limited by your imagination. You could tell any story you want. You can introduce any kind of alien race that you want. So I think there's a lot to work with here. The main thing that a lot of people were complaining about was the frame rate. And I agree there was two things. There was two red flags that I noticed mainly was the frame rate was shaky. And there's been rumors going around that it got delayed because they needed more time to actually polish the game. And the frame rate was definitely stuttering a little bit. And this is a Bethesda game, so. But the good news is it's on game pass. So I don't gotta pay for this. So I think they gonna need some time to optimize that. But the core of what's here is definitely interesting, specifically the story. It seems like there's some type of ancient relic that you're looking for that's gonna help you maintain civilization or some like that. That's really interesting to me. Let me, let me fast forward to like some of the gameplay. The lighting in this gen is really cool, really good. And then the other, the other red flag that I've seen about Starfield was that I think the, the character animations when they're talking, I like that they're going back to that old school fallout look where like in, in Obsidian did it with the outer, the outerlands. Was it the outer worlds? I think it was the outer worlds where the character's like standing in the middle of the frame and you're talking to them and you get to choose your own kind of dialogue. They're going back to that old type of fallout. But that is the style of telling the story. The only red flag there is like the animations on the faces, a lot of the characters were cross eyed. So they definitely need to clean that up. And if they don't. If they don't. I'm just putting this out there. As someone who has been ready to die on the Mass Effect Andromeda Hill, I always say Mass Effect Andromeda was not a bad game. It just wasn't a good Mass Effect game. Once you got past the kooky eyes and, and the facial expressions, the gameplay was the best in the Mass Effect series. It's just the story wasn't particularly interesting and Mass Effect is known for the story and, and the faces and like that. And then the open world aspect it was kind of too. But yeah, the, the, the character faces in this game are like kookly eyed like, like Mass and Dramata and they better clean that up and if they don't, the Internet better roast this game the same way y' all roasted Mass, fake Andromeda. But I like that, I like that right there that you can switch between first and third person how you want to play that. You can do it as well as it when you're in the ship or when you're on. On foot or whatever. A concern for me though is the fact that they have all these different planets. What are they going to fill them with? I don't want another no man's sky where you're just walking around and there's Nothing to do. I really hope that they're what made Mass Effect great, in my opinion, was the main story was great, but so were the side stories. There were so many side stories when you would travel. Some of my favorite moments were just traveling from. To some random planet in the. In the Milky Way or any of the other solar systems and landing on the planet and finding a random base and they're doing experiments and there's this whole storyline where you got to help people and just those random side stories that makes it feel like the galaxy's alive and there's things going on outside of your main mission. So, like, I think that's going to be very important on how they fill out. You see how the characters look kind of kookly eyed. It's gonna be very important to see how they fill out this world. I feel like if they don't do that, we're gonna have to knock some points off there. But I think the overall aesthetic of the game, the vibe, the whole mystery of how to save, like, humanity and stuff, it's good here. I like the way they're telling the story. The com. The. The gun combat could be a little bit better, but we like the ship customization. I do feel like people went a little bit too hard on this. It looks all right. It looks all right. They need to clean it up, but it looks all right. I see what they're working with, and I think this game has potential. Like, look at, look. I love that, like, how they blurred the background to have the characters, hey, there's a space settlement that needs your help. Is this the greatest thing I've ever seen? No, but I'm. I'm leaning more towards. I'm. I'm looking forward to Starfield now. I'm looking forward to Starfield. Look at all this. This is one of those games that when you work in games media that, like, I'm gonna love and hate. And what I mean is this game looks like it's gonna be a gazillion hours. So when they first showed the demo, they showed like one planet, and then they zoomed out and showed all the different planets and stuff. I'm like, oh, my God. God, bro. It's gonna be hard to review this game. And I said it on xplay, and I'm gonna say it here on the podcast. Anybody who drops a day one review on this game, you probably shouldn't trust them. And the only way you should trust them is if we get this. And I'm gonna tell y' all too, when when the review copies start going out. Because I know, like Horizon, Forbidden West. I got that game like a month early. I was playing. It was one of the reasons I disappeared, like in February. I wasn't really streaming as much. I got that game a month early. So I had plenty of time to actually play, play it and really form an opinion. But that's very rare. Most the time you get game codes like the week before. There's been plenty of times where they'll give it to give it to us the weekend of. You have like two days to try to piece some together. That's why a lot of those Elden Ring reviews were rushed because them codes were passed out last minute. This is one of the games that's so big on. So like, I'm not going to trust a lot of day one reviews on this because I feel like you're going to need some time to, to really get this game, dive deep into it and see what it has to offer. But that being said, it's all right. I think the Xbox Bethesda Showcase was a 3 out of 5 to me. Didn't blow me away. Cool character customization. I like that you're gonna be able to customize your character. They just got to clean up that frame rate and clean up these kookly ass faces and these cockeyed characters and like that. But I think the story is interesting. The world's interesting. They have something here to work with. I'm not gonna totally dismiss it like some other people I see on the Internet talking about we smoking on the Xbox pack. You is weird. You are dead ass weird. He said, did you get the chance for a hands on time with Sonic Frontiers? So I posted on Instagram on my IG story. I was at the Summer Games Fest. They did not announce this. So the way this industry works is you have to book, you know, you have your contacts and you have to book appointments with the companies to get these interviews. And on hands on gameplay time and which by the way, I played Street Fighter 6. It was pretty good. I liked it. I'm not like a Super Street Fighter expert, I forgot to say that, but I enjoyed what I played. I feel like I'm gonna like it more than four. Worse, no, I'm gonna like it more than five for a multitude of reasons. But anyways, what about to say yeah, I posted on my IG story that Sonic Frontiers was there and they didn't. The thing is that, that SEGA didn't say they were going to be at the Summer Games Fest. They didn't say that there was going to be an actual playable build of Sonic Frontiers there. They just kind of showed up. I was like, oh, but we didn't have an appointment. They were only taking really exclusive appointments with people and but I didn't get to play it. They wouldn't let me. I tried. So he asked, did you get a chance to get some hands on time with Sonic Frontiers? If so, was it worth trying? Was it worth playing as their first gameplay video or did they seem was it worth. He's asking was it worth playing. He worded the question kind of weird. He's asking was it worth playing compared to like the gameplay that was shown off on ign. All right, so I didn't get to play it, but I got to watch a lot of people play it. And then on top of that, I know somebody who played it that I'm cool with. He was there at the event. I'm not gonna drop no names. And I'll say this Sonic Frontiers is a victim of poor marketing. I'm not saying this game is going to be good. Take everything what I'm about to Say with a grain of salt. But I think what's happening with that game is. I don't know who greenlit it. It had to have been Sega because I mean IGN got the exclusive. In my opinion, what what Sega should have did is they should have led. We're showing some fast paced levels, some cool combat as well as having like the third video they did as it was having like some director or game developer commentary over the gameplay so people can have context of what's going on instead of just releasing some gameplay of sonic running around in the wild and leaving up to people's imagination. Because this is the first open world Sonic game, there needed to be context. So I know somebody who played it and it it. So there is going to be. There is going to be more traditional linear sonic levels that are all about speed and trying to master the level from what I was told from the person who played it is he was like, wow. He was like, it was actually good. Keep in mind this is their opinion. This is not my opinion. I ain't playing. He's like, it was actually good. And he was like, basically the open world is more of like a hub world. There will be some things to do in the hub world, but it serves more as a hub world and you use that to get around to like the main linear levels as well as he told me some other stuff about the game that hasn't been announced. It'll be announced later in the month of June because IGN has the exclusive rights to premiering everything Sonic Frontiers. So like those gameplay videos that they've. They released earlier in the month, there's actually going to be more all throughout the month. And some of that stuff he got to play it was in that build and he told me, bro, he's like, that's the. They should have showed. He's like, why did they lead with just him running around in the open world? Because he's like, it's much better than he's like, it restored my faith a little bit that this could be all right. So I'm not saying the game is going to be good, but the person who told me this, I'm real cool with him. I saw him play it and I trust his opinion, but at the same time it's not my opinion. I still would need to play the game. But he said he's not as worried. He has faith that it could be decent, it could be decent. He's not saying it will be. So hopefully that gives you a little bit of insight. I can't tell You. Exactly. I know. I know what was in that build that's different than what they haven't shown. But you'll see later this month, I can't talk about it because that type of stuff is under NDA and I don't want to get anybody in trouble, including myself. So he's gonna have to go with my word. Take it all with a grain of salt, though, about a bunch of hearsay. Next question. It comes from Kenny, and he says, my friends and I just started a podcast and we're looking for distributions. Do you know any good distributions? I don't understand this question. So when you say, what do you mean? Are you talking about, like, ways to upload it and then, like, get it on Apple and Spotify? Because if that's the case, just Uploaded to Anchor FM, that's free. Or RedCircle.com, that's free. And then you go into the settings and you click a button and your podcast is on Apple, Spotify, and every other major platform. It's very easy to get your podcast syndicated if you're talking about. If you're talking about syndication, that type of distribution. But then you could also take this question is like, are you looking for promotion? When you say distribution, like joining some type of podcast network where they give you ad reads and they promote your podcast? If that's what you're asking, then I would say you shouldn't even be worried about that shit, to be honest. Because, like, you just started a podcast. Why are you worried about it getting promoted? You should be worried about making it better, just growing organically, building a fan base. But if you're just talking about distributing the Apple and Spotify upload to either Red Circle or Anchor, those are the. They're free hosting and you can get on platforms for free, other platforms for free. Next question comes from Boat Kid, and he says, with Moon Knight ending in a month or so, where was it? With Moon Night ending in a month or so with. I can't read with this. Five stars. You know what it is? It's humid in my damn house right now because summer is, like, starting to heat up and is giving me a headache. With Moon Knight ending in a month OR so and Ms. Marvel having started this week, what are your thoughts so far on the Marvel shows you've seen so far? And do you believe this could be the future of the MCU with more focus on shows and movies and then, like, big events? Okay, so I'm not gonna lie. I didn't even finish Moon Knight. I watched the first episode and I just kind of dropped it. Not because I lost interest. I just got busy with work and I never picked it back up. But then I've been hearing, like, mixed reviews from people, so that kind of scared me away from finishing it. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm not interested in Ms. Marvel, period. Like, it just looks like some Disney channel that I'm not interested in. But I've heard good reviews about it. I'm kind of marveled out. That's what I was alluding to earlier. I'm kind of burnt out on it. Like, I watched the movies, but, like, it's hard to keep up with all these damn TV shows and the movies, man. And on top of that, you got these CT C tier characters. Like, the only one I'm kind of interested in is the she Hulk one, because that looks like it could be funny with the whole her being a lawyer thing. But we don't know because that CG don't look that good either. The only show I'm watching right now, I mean, Disney owns it too, is Obi Wan. Episode four was kind of meh, but the first three episodes were good. Although episode four is, like, setting stuff up. It was more of like, you know, a story kind of driven one. I'm enjoying Obi Wan, though. I don't know if. And this is what has to do with the mcu. He was saying, do you think this is the future of, like, storytelling? I think it's the future of storytelling for certain. Certain things. Like, we were talking about it. It was a me, G.B. and Will Neff. We were actually talking about it, and he was saying, Will Neff had this idea. He was like. Because he's like, the. The new trilogy with Rey and Kylo Ren is ass. And we all agree that was ass. He was like, I would like to see more shows like Obi Wan where you have more time to flesh out characters. Mandalorian's Fire, too. I'm pretty sure that Ahsoka show is gonna be fire. Why not? He's like, why not take the movies and turn them into TV shows so you have time to actually turn. Actually flesh out characters and story lines better versus rushing everything into like a two hour spectrum. Practical. I was like, yo. I was like, that's not a bad idea. Then I took it a step further and I was like, to add on to that, Will, I was like, what they could do is instead of a movie being called episode 10, 11, and 12, what they can do is instead, whatever season one, that season will be called the Episode. So, you know, the next Star wars movie will be season nine, then season 10 will be, you see what I'm saying? Like, just call the season the movie or whatever. And that way you have more time to tell a story. You can put all the production into it, take as long as you want with it. But that would cost a lot of money. So I don't know if that would happen. That would be cool if they took that route. That would also increase their subscribers through the roof, keep all your customers in the ecosystem. But who knows? I'm kind of marveled the fuck out when it comes to these TV shows. Next question comes from awakenigas. And he says, is there anything you've learned or any skill you gained from your time working with kids that helped you in areas that you. Your career or life in general? Yeah, working with kids taught me patience because I was like, really young and fresh out of school. It taught me to be patient because I'm not gonna be like, mean to nobody's kid. And when you're patient and you let things come to you, life becomes a whole lot easier. I used to be a whole lot more angsty. A whole lot. I don't know if that's the word, if you know what I mean. I used to. My temper, I used to be like super hothead. My temper used to be real hot, but now I'm just like, real relaxed about everything. Helped you stay in your element because honestly, I had no other choice. You had to be patient with kids. So it taught me that. And I think that was an important lesson I took out of it. So, yeah, that was the main thing Every, everybody's. You'll find something in life that's going to teach you to be more patient. Because stressing over things you cannot control will cause gross gray hairs, ladies and gentlemen, and you don't want those.
