At 71 years young, at an age when many people have significantly slowed their pace, Psychiatrist and Mental Health Advocate Dr. Jemima continues to live her life fully; pursuing her purpose with zeal. Dr. Jemima Kankam is a board certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology and a distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Kankam is an ardent mental health advocate, and dedicates much of her time to public education aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma in churches, community gatherings and the general medical community.
