Thank you @jyocho_jp for the opportunity to do a remix of your track 惜春 (Lament the Passing of Spring)! It is my interpretation of a song by one of my absolute favorite bands - an ambient post-rock rendition of their excellent work. #remixJYOCHO #copyJYOCHO My remix is not commercialized or monetized. All rights remain with JYOCHO and No Big Deal Records/Nippon Columbia.

"Upward" is a post-rock track at heart. However, it is not bound to the genre's tropes: It slowly and gradually crescendos, layer by layer, from an ambient soundscape and electric beats into a full blown almost shoegazy sound with overdriven guitar and drums. This way, it evokes a sense of hope, a new beginning after tough times, hence its name. Hoving's Socials: https://linktr.ee/hoving

This track was produced and recorded in its entirety with a Teenage Engineering OP-1 on a train ride from Stuttgart to Berlin. https://linktr.ee/hoving

I played a 2-note-chord into an EHX Freeze and thusly created a basic drone sound. Afterwards, I set my guitar aside. Everything you hear is coming from my pedalboard and its components, no other sound sources. 1 stereo track in Ableton, compressor and EQ. https://linktr.ee/hoving

This is an ambient / downtempo live composition. Ralph Pambor and Hoving made use of synths, grooveboxes and the electric guitar to come up with what you hear. The whole track was recorded live in one sitting. You can find more here: https://linktr.ee/hoving Mastering by Aldo M. Produced on a Novation Circuit in Sweden in 2018. Recorded with a Novation Circuit and a Korg Monotron Delay into a Teenage Engineering OP-1 in Iceland in 2019. Subsequent Cycles is a split EP by Berlin based sci-fi ambient producer EMME and Stuttgart based ambient and downtempo producer Hoving. The tracks were mastered by Copilco Productions in Berlin. www.emmemoises.com https://linktr.ee/hoving www.copilco-productions.com

My inspiration for this song was the landscape where it was produced; the Swedish coast. That's where I sat down with a Teenage Engineering OP-1 and a Hokema Kalimba and started recording the waves washing up against the shore. I added a somber but relaxing Kalimba melody and finished the track up with synth lines and beats. The end result is an ambient/downtempo composition produced and recorded entirely without the use of a computer in the Scandinavian outdoors. https://linktr.ee/hoving

www.linktr.ee/hoving My second track is trying to explore the downtempo side of ambient music. It was produced and recorded entirely on Teenage Engineering's OP-1. Thanks for listening and feel free to express your feelings about the track by liking, sharing and critiquing.

This is my first ambient live set. Everything you hear comes from a Novation Circuit, a Teenage Engineering OP-1 and a Korg Monotron Delay. A few of the tracks are unreleased.
