The seeds for TELA were planted during the pandemic, when her husband gifted her a sewing machine. TELA—Spanish for “fabric”—represents Sarah’s love of textiles, travel, and timeless design, all grounded in a deep respect for intentional sourcing and inclusive silhouettes.
