The Justice Department now taking aim at Yale's medical school. The DOJ says the school discriminated based on race in its admissions process. It's claiming admissions data shows that black and Hispanic applicants were admitted with consistently lower academic qualifications than than white and Asian applicants. So far, Yale has not responded to these findings. Nationwide, inflation is getting worse and shoppers are feeling it.

New economic data show that prices for wholesale products jumped 6% last month compared to a year ago. That's the fastest spike since December 2022, driving the increase. Gas prices surging 15.6%. Now we're just learning the director of the CIA has met with Cuban officials Havana today. The CIA official tells us that John Ratcliffe was, in their words, in Havana to personally deliver President Trump's message that the US Is prepared to engage on economic and security issues, but only if Cuba makes fundamental changes. It comes as the New York Times is reporting that Cuba has run out of oil reserves are gone. Right as Cuba's been grappling with these major power outages, these blackouts. You see some of that here. Gas stations closed, traffic lights out, etc. China rolled out the red carpet one last time for President Trump before he waved goodbye to his hosts and boarded Air Force One back to the US it still will be seen how much progress they made to resolve tension over several topics.

We've settled a lot of different problems that other people wouldn't have been able to settle on Iran. It's very interesting he feels strongly they can't have a nuclear weapon. He said that very strongly they cannot have a nuclear weapon. And he wants them to open up the strait. But as he said, they closed it and then you close them with a smile. And it's true, we control the strait and they've done no business, literally, they've done no business in the last two and a half weeks.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily. We're here live on Real America's voice. Today is May 15, 2026 Anno Domini. Well folks, President Trump now on his way back from the high stakes meeting in Beijing, made some comments to the press on Air Force One. We're still waiting to get a full readout of exactly what took place behind the scenes and we may not get all of that as we know. But of course President Trump giving a list of interviews, multiple interviews on what was said behind closed doors with Xi Jinping. We do know that from the Iran proposal, the latest one, he did reject that. However he added that China is interested in helping the United States to keep the Strait of Hormuz open. This is something that I asked President Trump directly just steps outside the Oval Office about one month ago at the White House, we also saw President Trump say that China is committed to Iran not achieving a nuclear weapon. And in fact that is, is a stance that China has had for, for many years. Long prior to this situation, China has always, always really held the position that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon. And on trade deals, look, we saw 200 planes down from the initial 500. We thought it was going to be a potential promise for as many as 700. But we'll see. What's more on that GE, the engines, 400 to 450 engines, many more planes and potentially as the president said, up to 750. And of course lots of questions as well on, on the role of Chinese students. And I think what's interesting about the Chinese students quotient that President Trump saying that China was pushing very strongly for the 500000 Chinese students to come to America, also stating that it was helpful of course for the universities. But something that I think was unsaid there was how much of a priority the Chinese students, the half a million are for the ccp. This is leverage. President Trump has leverage with the Chinese students. These aren't just, you know, random Chinese students who excel at the gaokao, the you know, basically their sats and then do well no, no, these are the scions of the party. These are the sons and daughters of the elite in the ccp. President Trump knows that he can pull those visas at a moment's notice. And this is something of course, Stephen Miller knows and has talked about many, many times. So the fact of matter remains that those students are something that Xi Jinping was pushing very strongly for as well as the farmland. That means it's of utmost importance to the Chinese Communist Party. Now, if it were me, I'd say deport them all. Shred every single one of those Chinese student visas and, and get rid of all the farmland. There's no reason that they should have investment in our country like that. But of course, President Trump on his way back from Beijing, he made those comments while on Chinese soil. Then of course, when he was on Air Force One, he was still in Chinese airspace. The most aggressive, though, of course, were the comments on Taiwan. And I've been extremely outspoken about that. The president of course, responded. He said, well, perhaps the Xi Jinping was talking about America fading under Joe Biden. But the fact remains that was said with the President, United States, Donald J. Trump in the room. The Great hall of the People in Tiananmen Square is the most aggressive we've ever heard. China or any Chinese leader on Taiwan, they made it their top line issue and referred to the United States as a fading power. Folks, we gotta wake up to this. Very excited and honored to have. Next on the program, greatest attorney general in America today, Ken Paxton of Texas. Stay tuned. Be right back.

Now it's time for everyone to understand what America first truly means. Welcome to the second American Revolution. All right, folks. Jack, we're back live here. Human Events Daily. Real America's voice. I told you before the break, and I am delivering. Promises made, promise kept. Ladies and gentlemen, the best attorney general in the United States today. Attorney General Ken Paxton of Texas joins us on human events daily. Mr. Tree. General, how are you?
Ken Paxton
I am doing great. It's, it's a great day in Texas. Obviously we're in the middle of a runoff election with. Against the sitting incumbent who's been in office for 42 years. And that all happens early voting all happens next week and then May 26, Tuesday, May 26 is our, is our runoff election day after Memorial Weekend, by the way.
Jack Posobiec
Oh, the day after the Memorial weekend. Okay, so let me to the early voting. What does that start on Tuesday, starts
Ken Paxton
on Monday of next week.
Jack Posobiec
Thursday.
Ken Paxton
We have five days of early voting a lot of people are used to. In a regular primary, we have like, I think it's 12 days of early voting and then one day of election. This time it's five days in one day.
Jack Posobiec
So they, so can they vote over the Memorial Day weekend or. No, they have to come back on the 26.
Ken Paxton
So if they haven't voted between Monday and Friday, they cannot vote over the weekend. They have to vote on Tuesday.
Jack Posobiec
All right. So I hope everybody within the sound of my voice in Texas, or if you know, anyone within Texas, understand the rules here, because we're not Democrats. We, we don't, we don't play games with that. If it's five days, then you take the weekend, the holiday, you come back the Tuesday. We play by the rules. So, Mr. Chairman, General, tell us with, with your campaign, how are you working to get out the vote? What are you instructing people to do when it comes to this, the early voting and then day of voting?
Ken Paxton
Yeah, obviously we're on TV advertising. I'm doing, you know, lots of media. I've been out speaking everywhere. My opponent doesn't do that. He has a lot of money from DC Outspending me on the, on the tv, but he's never out campaigning and talking to the people. And we're delivering the message. It's very simple. We, it's low voter turnout and runoff. A few people make the decision in Texas for who's going to be the next Republican senator from Texas. And I'm encouraging people to go tell their friends, go tell their family, make them get out and vote. We can win this election. Our polling looks good, but in the end, all that matters is do my, do my people get out and vote or does do his people get out and vote? And so that's, that's the issue. And so got a really good chance of changing the message in Washington from we're having a senator from Texas that doesn't have accomplishments, that doesn't take care of the people of Texas. It's part of the Washington swamp. Or are we going to send somebody more like Ted Cruz who actually has some, some punches to throw and doesn't put up with the Washington establishment and the swamp?
Jack Posobiec
Well, you know, you actually just stole my stole line right out of my mouth because I was going to ask you. This has become something of a, of a, almost a running joke within the campaign where you've been going around asking people just if they can name one accomplishment from Senator Cornyn. Have you found anyone who's able to do so?
Ken Paxton
No, So I started April 8th. I announced my candidates April date last year. So a year and like two months ago. And every meeting, whether it's one person or it's thousands, I've asked every single time, can you name one good accomplishment? John Corn has been in the Senate for 24 years. He's been in office since the 84 when I was in college. I'm now 63. He's been in office for 42 years. And I give him the whole 42 years. I said, can you name one good accomplishment? 42 years. No one's ever delivered an answer, not one answer. And then my follow up is take any two weeks I've been in the attorney general of Texas, whether it's the last two weeks. John can pick the two weeks other than Christmas and Thanksgiving, I will have accomplished more in any two week period than he's accomplished in 42 years. I think that's pathetic and I think we need to change.
Jack Posobiec
What do you think is the reason why that for so long Texas would send somebody up like that? I mean he, you know, he comes up and he comes across as, as well, I'm just like you, I'm a conservative. But then he goes to Washington D.C. and he just can't seem to actually deliver on any conservative agenda items.
Ken Paxton
No, he delivers on bad things. I mean, helping Joe Biden restrict second amendments, he blocks the border wall from being built. He's an open borders guy. I think what happens is, you know, Karl Rose of the world, the Bushes of the world got behind him and he's never had any real competition. And then they $125 million from Washington to tell Republicans in Texas that John Cornyn is conservative, that he is, you know, that he has stood against Biden, that he's a Donald Trump guy, voted with him 99% of the time, fought for the border wall. All this stuff is untrue. But with $125 million, if you can turn 5% of my voters to him, that's a 10% turn. That's what they rely on. And then they lie about me with the same money. And so that's what they depend on. He doesn't campaign, he doesn't get out and talk to the voters because it's too risky for him. And what he send this money in to really be dishonest about his record and try to convince from D.C. tell Republicans this is the guy, stand with our guy. And that stuff has worked because in the last 40 or 50 years, only two incumbents that I know of have been knocked off, either Democrat or Republican. And one was in Richard Luger in 2012, self funded. He had a self funder. And the second was Mike Lee in 2010 because he was in a convention state. No one's ever taken on a senator sitting center in a primary that I know of in the last 40 or 50 years and beaten them straight up without a special either self funding or convention state where you don't need money. No.
Jack Posobiec
And it's, it's, it's obviously an extremely heavy lift and that's why the people of Texas have really found themselves in such a corner and that's why they've now turned to, to an Attorney general such yourself, a candidate such as yourself who actually wants to achieve things and actually wants to put points on the board rather than just go fill a seat and fog a mirror in Washington D.C. for 42 years. Rather than get anything done. Talk to us a little bit about the, the state of the country, the state of the issues. When you go out there and you're on the ground, you're actually holding these meetings, you're barnstorming across the state. What are the top line issues that people are talking about in the state of Texas?
Ken Paxton
The number one issue which I've challenged John Cornyn on is the Save America Act. I mean this is the President's number one issue. Said it in his State of the Union. I was there, I heard it. And it's simple. It requires that citizens not vote. It requires photo ID and it requires a revised mail in balance structure that stops some of the cheating. And I said I would even consider dropping out. John Corey could just deliver on one really significant thing she's not done in 42 years. I challenged him right after the runoff, March 3rd. I think it was March 4th or 5th that I said this. I would consider dropping out. Guess what? Instead of getting that pass, instead of getting rid of the filibuster which they are protecting, instead of they. Instead he went on vacation for two weeks and then came back for a week. And I think he then went back on vacation. So he even went under pressure even when it becomes the highlighted issue by the President, by me. John Coryn even then couldn't deliver. And that's the problem. And those are the type of issues that Texans care about along with the fact that the border be protected. And unfortunately, John spent all his money in Ukraine as opposed to defending the border in Texas. He was more interested in foreign borders than he was ours. Texans don't want to put up with that anymore. Nor do they want to be have a center that sides with Joe Biden to restrict Second Amendment rights. And that's what John Cornyn has done.
Jack Posobiec
No, they don't. And in a state like Texas, it's what's so perplexing to so many people that, you know, in the state of Texas, you're not going to face any political backlash for standing up for voter id, for standing up for blocking illegals from voting. There's going to be a backlash. They might throw a parade for you for doing something like that, but he still won't do it. And to your point, it shows that his roots are not in Texas. They're in the swamp.
Ken Paxton
There's no doubt about it. The guy, I don't even know how often he comes back here, but he lives in D.C. he stays in D.C. he doesn't go out and talk to the voters. And the most common complaint I've heard about him as I've traveled the state for the last year and two months is he won't help us. We ask him for this. We had a base closing in San Antonio. They were trying to close it. We needed him to come in and help us. He wouldn't do it. I hear that complaint every single day. We, we have Ted Cruz. We have to go to Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz, Ted Cruz. He's the one that helps us. John Corner won't help us. He doesn't have time. He sends us a staffer. They don't do anything. I've never heard anybody say, thank, thank you, John Cornyn. You actually helped me. He doesn't do that. That's a problem. We need two centers. We've got, basically, Texas is fighting with one arm, Time behind our back. And that arm is John Cornyn. We have one punch with Ted Cruz. Texas deserves two punches. We don't have it right now.
Jack Posobiec
And it's, it's, it's something where you look at a state like that, you look at a state like Texas, the reddest of the red states, the, the crown jewel for every, you know, Republican running for president. It makes no sense whatsoever that you wouldn't have a senator who's in lock step with the major issues of the state, the major issues of the party, and actually up there delivering, because last I checked, the blue state senators don't act like that.
Ken Paxton
No, it is a matter of fact, the last Republican convention that he bothered to show up for, he doesn't show up anymore. He got booed for 30 straight minutes. You know why? Because those voters, those Republican based Voters knew that John Cornyn didn't represent them. Now, look, we would all be fine if John Cornyn were a Republican representing Massachusetts or maybe Illinois or maybe New York or maybe California. But for Texas, it's not good enough to have a guy that votes with the Democrats as often as he does. Fights Donald Trump's election both times, by the way, even though he says he's with Donald Trump now, fights the border wall, pushes for amnesty, pushes. It does nothing about the budget deficit. Since he's been there, the Deficit's gone from 6.2 trillion from the time of Washington to him till, what is it, 38, 39 trillion. This is a guy that does not deliver for us. He's not interested in us in Texas. He's interested in his friends in D.C. his daughter is a big lobbyist up there, and that's where his ties are.
Jack Posobiec
I actually, he. He had. I caught him the other day, I think it was last week, where he had retweeted something and then he tried to unre tweet it very quickly. It was a, you know, as opposed to attacking you, but it was from a group called Republicans Against Trump. I said, why is there a group called Republicans Against Trump that's supporting John Cornyn? I mean, this should tell you everything right there.
Ken Paxton
There's no doubt about it. In 2016, John Cornyn said that that Republican nominee Donald Trump was an albatross around her neck. He claims the same thing for me in 2024. He said that Trump's day was done. He was not endorsing President Trump, and that he insinuated that he had committed crimes and that he was very open to the idea of potential crimes by Trump. This is not a guy that stands behind Donald Trump. I was at Donald Trump's announcement with one other politician when no one thought it was cool, when Everybody thought Ron DeSantis was going to win. This guy, Donald Trump, this guy John Cornyn, has not stood with the president. And once this election is over, I promise you this, one way or the other, this guy, the real John Cornyn, is coming back. He will not be a friend of Donald Trump. He will not be a friend of our issues, and he will not be a friend, most importantly, of the state of Texas and the citizens of Texas.
Jack Posobiec
Mr. Chairman, give us one second. We've got a quick break. We'll be right, right back. We're on with Attorney General Ken Paxton of Texas. Big runoff. This is for the future of the country. Stay tuned. Right back.
Audience/Supporter
They talk about influencers. These are influencers and they're friends of mine. Jackson, where's Jack? JACK he's got a great job.
Jack Posobiec
All right, folks, Jack Paso Beck live here, Human Events Daily, Real America's Voice. And we're honored to have Attorney General Ken Paxton here on the program. And of course, we're talking about his race. These, the runoff that he's in right now, the primary runoff. What early voting begins next week in Texas. So if you're in Texas next week is the week, start getting those ballots in. And then Election Day itself, if you want to go day of it's going to be May 26, so the Tuesday after Memorial Day. But as it turns out that the attorney general, you're in this, this race, you're in this huge race. It's for the fight of the movements for the future of the country, the direction of travel. But you're still out there doing the job as attorney general of Texas. And you guys just announced a massive settlement with the Texas Children's Hospital. I just saw this breaking news. Walk us through what happened.
Ken Paxton
So we sued Texas Children. This all started when I, you know, several years ago when I came out when it seemed like this whole idea of transitioning kids was, was a big thing and we no one was speaking out. We came out with an opinion, a legal opinion saying that we viewed that as child abuse. And shortly thereafter that issuing that opinion, the legislature stepped in and banned transitioning of children in Texas and banned hospitals and doctors from doing it. However, we started discovering hospitals that were doing it. We were able to force some hospitals out. This one is obviously a Texas hospital, so they couldn't leave. And so we sued them and we got a settlement last night with them where they are firing all of their doctors that do this. They've agreed to never hire anybody doing this again. And they have they have some compliance to do to make sure that doesn't happen. They also agreed to to pay 10 million and they're going to use part of that to create a transitioning unit where they actually cover for the next five years. They will cover for free. Anybody that wants to come and detransition. I think it's the first of its kind program in the United States and maybe anywhere in the world, I don't know. But it is going to happen in Texas and we're going to give some of these children an opportunity who couldn't afford it, who were in a bad spot because they were young and they didn't know and their brains weren't fully developed and they were potentially pushed into or made poor decisions based on their age, can now come back and have an opportunity to potentially at least partially or maybe fully reverse what's happened to them.
Jack Posobiec
And this. It's stunning. It's just stunning. So I'm reading through the settlement here. 10 million to the state for billing Texas Medicaid for unallowable and illegal gender transition interventions, including by using false diagnostic codes, compelling determination and revocation of privileges of multiple physicians, as you mentioned, and this d transition clinic funded by the hospital for five years, free of charge for patients that are admitted. Mr. General, this is something that we would hope, as conservatives, that could be spread across the entire country. I just have to say thank you for your work here and your efforts, because this is something that, look, you know, in conservative media, we've always got some outrage about what the radical transgender movement is doing, but this is a major, major victory. And hopefully, and you mentioned it's the first of its kind, but hopefully it's not the last.
Ken Paxton
Yeah, I think that's something that I hope happens. We, you know, a lot of states don't have laws against this, but they may be able to do what we did. We used both the current law, which has been new, but we also went back and looked at Medicaid and the fraud where they were hiding it, and they were coding it wrong, and billing Medicaid inappropriately and illegally. So we were able to use both methods. We use the current law that when they were continuing to do it, when the law was passed, but we also went backwards and used Medicaid. So other states that. Other Republican states, potentially, that don't have this law in place should get into place. Second, if they don't have the place, you can use Medicaid fraud. And then third, why not push the same program we did, which was create these programs all over the state. So these kids that were put in such a difficult spot, they don't have the resources to accommodate what they might want to do now. Give them the opportunity to get as much of their life back as possible, provide them some hope. And that's what I'm trying to do with this program, is provide hope. The kids that have no hope.
Jack Posobiec
When, when you were going through the course of this, of this investigation, I have to imagine that there were individuals that, that came forward and you met with, and you hear how emotional it is for so many of them, because. And we've had a few folks, Chloe Cole and others who have come on to talk about this, and what they were saying was that the doctors would Go to the parents and say, you know, your child might, might die or might commit self harm if you don't go forward with this. And you know, as a guy who has a couple of kids, you know, I mean, I would never go down this path, but I can imagine how hard that is for a family to hear from someone you trust. Yeah.
Ken Paxton
And, yeah, and look at these doctors had their own preconceived ideas about what they wanted to happen and maybe their own bent. And they also made money off this. So there's a lot of incentives for these doctors to push parents this direction or push children in this direction. And unfortunately, these doctors have done great harm. They did no good. They did great harm. And they cost these children's, these children part of their lives and part of their opportunities to potentially have children and have families. That's a big deal. And that's something obviously that we wanted to stop in Texas. Something that I was committed to. But now what are we going to do with the problem that we have with these kids that haven't been treated? We got to go help them. And that's, that's what this program is designed to do. And that's why it excites me today that we're announcing this, because no one else has done this. And maybe it will lead to other states doing the very same thing.
Jack Posobiec
I mean, these harmful medical interventions, the fact that there is a detransition clinic, hopefully, by the way. And this is something, I suppose, that, you know, I have to imagine there's more hospitals than just this one in Texas that may actually fall on. May have been doing similar procedures.
Ken Paxton
Yeah, there's no doubt. We chased one hospital. It was a Seattle hospital. We made them quit and they agreed to leave the state. And so that was the settlement with them. But we've definitely looked at others and anytime we find this, we are laser focused on eliminating it because we now have the power of the law and we also have our Medicaid resources and we're pursuing all angles on those. So a lot of times we're in an investigation, we don't talk much about it. We don't talk about it until it's done. And that's where we're at with some of these others.
Jack Posobiec
You put actual results on the board and because you put such results on the board. That's why. And guys, I think we have this, this special image from the, the Attorney General's campaign here that we wanted to show up. That's why, of course, we've given you the nickname that's well earned of Action Paxton. And I think we have the. Some action figures that I'm hoping will be available from the campaign at some point.
Ken Paxton
Oh, I love it. Thank you for, for mentioning that. That's pretty good. I don't, I, I have to say that an aspiration more than a reality. But we're working on it.
Jack Posobiec
You have to, have to get in the gym after the campaign's over, I'm sure. Mr. A.G. where can people go to get access to the campaign?
Ken Paxton

Jack Posobiec
All right, folks, Jack back live here, Human Events Daily. We haven't really done, I've been saying we're doing question the day all week and we have really done any segments on that. So I wanted to get in that a little bit here. So we're doing no guests for the rest of the show with the great Attorney General Paxton on, but the guest for the rest of the show here is you. You, the viewer are going to be the guest. We're going to be answering those as best as we can. All right? And the question, the topic here is China. So it's ask me anything about China. Anything you want to ask. Ask me anything about China. All right, folks, America is hitting its 250th anniversary and right now we're fighting for its soul culture economy. Who gets your dollar? That's the battle. Most wireless companies don't care about what you stand for. They just, they just want your cash. Well, Patriot Mobile is different. That's patriotmobile.com poso or give them a call 972-patriot make the switch. All right, folks, wanted to get in. So we've got a lot of great questions and comments that are just flying in right now. And you know, we want to start with the emails because if you guys took the time to email, I want to take the time to respond. So got a question here from Eddie. Does the Chinese government look at it as a positive that, and you know, we're losing the tie for this. We're losing the tie as a positive that their students work hard at English because they dream about going to an American university. Because why would the Chinese want their youth to play into that game if they didn't benefit? Well, yeah, so learning English is something that Chinese students do pretty much, pretty much almost at the same level as American students. So what I mean by that is you're learning English at a very young age. It's taught all across China. So if you're meeting someone who's young in China, someone who's under 40, typically they're going to have, if they've gone through the education system, they're going to have a passing level of English. So you can get, you can get by with a lot of English in China. And then, so this question about the American university is going to be clear about this is that the American universities are really only something that's attainable for upper middle class or the elites in China. This is not something that the average person can go to. And so that's, that's a huge, huge part of this. Okay, here's another question. On Trump's campaign trail, and last year he kept saying China, China, China, how he hates China. And now it's I love China. That's in from Andre. Look, he's in deal making mode. He is in negotiation mode. He is working to put together a deal with China. So the questions, you know, people are why is he, you know, why is he saying positive things about Xi Jinping? I think it's Pretty clear he's trying to get something out of him. Here's a question in from John. Do you think China will ever be a democracy in our lifetime? No, I don't. I honestly don't. This is something that I thought about for a long time and I, you know, would love to see one day. But at the same time, China has no history of democracy to speak of. They were briefly a republic under Sun Yat Sen, and that was, you know, that was overthrown very, very quickly. They were nationalists under Chiang Kai Shek, which obviously I would love to see all of China go back to that. But full on democracy in our lifetime. Boy, that would, that would be a tall order. That would be a very, very tall order. Here's a question in as a long question, if I get to all of it, but a question in from Edward. President Trump is emptying our Strategic Petroleum Reserve and the majority of it is going to China. I haven't actually heard that yet. So I wanted that we can double check on that because I was asking somebody about that if, if that were true. So he's saying President Trump has taken more out of the strategic reserve than any time in US History where the majority of our wartime reserve is going to China. Is anyone on the right saying that? Is that true? Strategic Petroleum Reserve and sending it to China? And there have been some. Yeah, I'm hearing that. So, yeah, there's a congressional ban that started in March of 2024. U.S. congressional leaders embedded a provision into a federal funding bill that officially blocked China from purchasing oil out of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. There's export restrictions on that. There could potentially, you know, there could potentially be a, you know, a deal that's done in the future. I haven't heard that yet. But we do know, of course, that China has been building a very, very large strategic reserve. In fact, larger. So China has a larger strategic reserve than we do right now. We have about 400 million barrels. Theirs is 1.4 billion barrels of oil right now in their reserve. And this is something they did because they knew that, that they were vulnerable to oil shocks in a way that we were not, because they don' those proven reserves. And so this is definitely something, definitely something that they knew was going to be an issue for them. So. All right, this one in from Daniel of Sarasota, Florida, for Jack Posobic. I have yet to hear any questions of how to break up China. If there are enough serious plans on how to break up China, it will throw Chinese Communist Party off. Well, if we're Talking about breaking up China. Of course, China does have a, you know, areas like Xinjiang and Tibet, which are not majority Han Chinese areas. So Xinjiang, of course, this is the Uyghurs and then Tibet is the Tibetans. The question is, of course, is there a viable separatist movement there or something like that? I just, you know, I just, I don't see it. I don't see something that has the ability to actually challenge the Chinese Communist Party. In fact, if you watch the great movie Seven Years in Tibet where Brad Pitt was for many years, you know, there's a Brad Pitt around the same time was making Troy, right. And there's a huge controversy about that right now. But he was banned from China because of that film in the way they depict the Chinese Communist Party. Because Seven Years in Tibet is one of those movies where I think it's the only time, you know, I could, you could think maybe on. You count on one hand the amount of times that the Chinese Communist Party is depicted negatively in a Hollywood film. And Seven Years in Tibet is actually one of them. So you can see at the very end how that goes down. All right, here's a. This is an interesting one. This is from Konstantin and in Finland. Hi, Jack. I loved your book on humans. I lived in Finland and ordered my copy from Ad Libris. It shined a new light on many things, I feel we have been egregiously lied about in the educational system such as the French Revolution and Franco. Amen to that. My question about China is what to be aware of there as a foreign tourist. Payment options. I understand that cash is severely restricted. Traveling on a bullet train, possible tourist trap scams, surveillance, use of VPN for the great firewall. Any advice to a first time Westerner tourist in China is welcome. All right, you are in luck. So, yes, you want to check out the payment options we pay. WeChat are some of the apps that they really use a lot. Now, cash. This has been a big change since I lived there. But yeah, cash is just not used as much anymore, which is, by the way, similar to Europe and similar to a lot of places in the United States where, you know you're using your tap to pay, right? Tap to pay is something that, you know, really took off in Asia years before it hit the west, but it's certainly here as well. It's just that they almost don't even have places that accept cash in many places. And it's all tap to pay. So that's something you want to dig into. You know, traveling on the trains, the trains are relatively good. Train service will get you pretty much everywhere in China. That being said, flights are also really cheap. So depending on if you want to drive, you know, drive through the countryside, see what it's like on the train, that service is, is fine. If you want to ride one of the high speed trains, you want to make sure that you're actually booking that because there will be. Sometimes you're at the train station, different trains you can get to make sure you're going on one of those high speed lines. And of course you can see, but you can check the, you know, the times there of course, possible tourist traps. Like there's tourist traps everywhere. It's, it's, you know, foreign country. There's, there's tourist traps that they're looking for. One of the scams I will talk about though, I never fell for this, but when I was in Shanghai, I had a roommate who fell for this. This is a big one. Here's what you do. And by the way, yeah. Use a VPN and I would suggest getting a burner phone before you go over because anything you connect to a Chinese network is going to get spyware on it. Here's one of the scams. You go out, some girl walks up to you and she says, she says, oh, I mean, she's this cute girl. Oh, I'm an American, you know, you know, or I see the American I want, come, come drink with me, Come, let's go to this bar. And the people know I don't drink, but a roommate of mine at the time, you go out to the bar, you're drinking, you're drinking, you're drinking. And then all of a sudden the check comes out and the best bouncer comes out. And it turns out the girl was working for the bar the whole time. And you're getting charged four times as much as usual. And if you don't pay, there's going to be trouble. So be very, very careful with that. And that's not just China, that's other places as well, but in any air tourist area overseas. Right back. Jack Soba, Human Events Daily call this the Jack Posobic Appreciation Hour. I can say confidently, I believe, I
Ken Paxton
think Josh Shapiro would be the vice
Jack Posobiec
presidential nominee if it wasn't for Jack Bosobic.
Ken Paxton
And that is, I think,
Jack Posobiec
All right, Jack Posobic back live here. Human Events Daily. She want to shout out to the chat. We see. Let's see who's in there. Kate Basil. I know ex patents in China that won out really bad yeah, that's. You know, I hear that a lot, too. Who we got? Keel Rootin Pixie Cox is in there. We've got AK forever in my heart. Rebel Jim says St. Peter is a special message for Mike Pence when he gets to the Pearly Gates. Hilarious. Not about China. Foxtail, not Foxtail. Says, we love Ken Paxton here in Texas. Amen to that. God bless in Texas. And I hope, you know, west, by God, Texas. And I hope that. Hope that he is able to get in. Let's see, let's see. I want to get some China stuff. All right. Need some more ch. Oh, here we go. I believe Trump is going to continue to squeeze the CCP from the liberties that they have been given to our prior politicians. At some point, Xi's ego will leave him essentially cut off. That'd be great to see. That would be great to see. Also, the US Education expats are in China and they get paid bigly. China wants to educate their population without reciprocal courtesy. There's a big thing in China where people do expats go over and they do the teaching English to make money over there. I never did that. I said, I'm not doing that. You know, I saw that as like a fallback kind of thing. Not trying to do it. Never did it. Wasn't going to do it. Didn't happen. But, yeah, it does happen a lot. All right, we get one in from this is Jim in Ohio says if a Chinese business person is allowed by the CCP to come to America to conduct business, are the party line Communists out to destroy of America? I know a company that started in 1927. It was bought by the Chinese and was gutted. Every piece is now made in China now and now have the company up for sale. Are they allowed to come over if they're not coming to undermine? I mean, this is the strategy, right? This is. This is just the strategy. And if you're at a certain point in China, if you're at a certain point where you've been successful, that's when they come to you and they say, hey, hey, do you want to join the party? They give you the offer, and there ain't no. There ain't no saying. There's only one answer to that offer. Okay? There's only one answer, and that's yes. So that's what they do if you're successful. They come in, they do this. Oh, we have this picture, by the way. You could see President Trump Xi Jinping, where they deliberately give the shorter chair to President Trump Just another one of the CCP schemes where they say, I mean, think about this. They're going out and designing chairs. They're saying, make sure the cushion on this, this chair is several centimeters shorter than the one for President Xi, or give him an extra, you know, pillow cushion or something. It's, it's, it's ridiculous that they're playing games like this, but they're willing to do so. And it's all deliberate. And that's what people have to understand. It's not happening by chance. It's completely deliberate. All right, let's see. This one's in from Suzanne. Hey, Jack. The US Conveniently left weapons behind during Korea and Afghanistan wars. Afterwards, Vietnam and Ukraine ensued. Additionally, Russia, we are told, is our enemy. Personally, I don't believe it. They have a narrative. We're supposed to believe Korea has never entered into a peace treaty. There's only a Seafire agreement. That's true after the Korean War, 38th parallel. China and Xi say they own Taiwan. The military industrial complex is waning under Trump, even with Iran issues. Peace through strength is a powerful tool. Considering all the above, what do you see transpiring in the near future? Look, I've been saying it all week that Xi Jinping clearly threatened war with the United States over Taiwan. And I don't think there's any other way to read that. We dropped aircraft, aircraft carrier coverage of Asia. We dropped the Patriot missile battery that was in South Korea. We moved that over to the Middle East. And so China is looking at Taiwan right now. And Xi Jinping said it. You don't take it from me. You don't have to. This isn't my analysis. This isn't, you know, I'm not spinning. He said it. He said it right to the President's face. He said it right to President Trump. Taiwan is ours. Very clear about that. And he said, we don't want there to be a conflict over this. Meaning hand it over or we will take it over. Let's see, from Sharice. Do you really think that China will do what Trump has requested of them? Well, it depends. You know, I do think that China will come in at some point on Iran and be able to provide the leverage there. But when it comes to all of these deals and abiding by them, they just, they have no history of it. Just have no history of it whatsoever. Here's one in from Lynn in Georgia. Hey, Jack, just wondering what's been done to eliminate the over 23,000 Chinese fighting age men that Biden allowed into our Country. That's a great question, Lyn. That's a great question. I'd love to ask Commander Bovino about that one. This one's in from Colleen. Can we get the land back that China bought and has, especially by our military installations? Yes, we can. Yes, we absolutely can. We can take that back from them, from, with government force. We can declare it national security. And we can absolutely take that land back. There's no question about it. And we should take that land back. China should not be allowed to own so much of our farmland, certainly not any land near our military installations. And go look, by the way, go and look at the, the Chinese balloon situation. And you know, if you guys have been watching me for a while, you know that I've said I firmly believe that these UAPs, it's all foreign adversaries. That's what I believe is going on there. These, these, this is new technology that we are picking up in drips and drabs. ISR platforms, that's intelligence surveillance, reconnaissance platforms that are coming across the, you know, across the scope. People are catching wind of it, catching eyes on it. But yeah, China, Russia and others, that's 100% what I believe is going on here, Sharla. The infiltration of China in our cities, buying up our properties so they can have addresses to have their children attend American universities, let alone farmland. Utterly ridiculous ideas on how this can be completely stopped. And yeah, completely agree. Completely agree. And you know, just said in the above there, that that's exactly what, that's exactly what I'm calling for. Okay, six degrees of freedom over on the Rumble chat. Now China is buying time. They're playing the long game. They certainly are. They certainly are. Look, Xi Jinping doesn't have to worry about terms. He doesn't have to worry about elections. He doesn't have to worry about midterms. He has to worry about any of those things, right? As long as he is able to continue his purges and able to prevent anyone who's capable of potentially picking him off from rising up within the party, which is what he does on a regular basis. He calls it the self revolution. So this is in line with the communist revolution, then the Cultural Revolution, now we have the self revolution. It's an ongoing purge. He's telling people all along that you stay in line with me or you will be purged. And this includes people that he himself appointed. So no one is safe. And if you view is anyone who's going a little bit Icarus flying a little too close to the sun, you're out. This includes the military, this includes the provincial leaders. This includes the politburo. He is continuing to consolidate his grasp and he's playing the long term game. Right? I've said for a while, though, I don't think that Taiwan will be taken by force. I don't think that's China's initial plan is what I'm trying to say that I think that their general plan is for assimilation, that they want to try to isolate. We had the ambassador of Taiwan here earlier this week. The plan has been for years to isolate Taiwan, isolate them from international organizations, the international trade institutions, isolate them from other countries being able to do business in Taiwan, with the, with the major exception, of course, being the semiconductors. This is really the strategic advantage that Taiwan has. Of course, again, it shows the failure of globalism because why aren't we making those chips in the United States to begin with? But I digress. That's why many of us said we shouldn't do these things, shouldn't sign these deals, these free trade agreements. So they've been cutting off Taiwan over and over and over so that the only place that Taiwan can receive business, can receive those economic ties is of course from mainland China. That's been the strategy. And then of course, using soft power, using cultural power, saying there's only one China. We're all China. We are all part of the Chinese family over and over and over. But then we also had Paula Scanlon on here yesterday and her family is Taiwanese. And they were saying, no, she was telling us that no, Taiwan is not part of China. There's never been part of the People's Republic of China, that Taiwan has its own separate history and its own system of functioning democracy where, by the way, they can count the votes, all 23 million votes from the island in one day. Why can't we do that? Why can't we do that down in Fulton county or Maricopa county or Philadelphia County? Why can't we do that? I wonder why that might be. If the Taiwanese can figure it out, why can't we? And fisherman 85 is in there saying, if China wants to invade Taiwan, we can do all that as well. Some folks saying the devil is in the details here. When it go on. There's a couple of the way they do the rumble, there's like multiple live streams. You got to bounce in between one or the other. And then of course, I don't have it muted. So I'm hearing myself. That's fun. Oh, gosh. And I'm not looking at the time either. Folks, this is great. I love doing these kind of segments. Maybe we'll do more of them on Fridays. I want you to be the guest, more so now than ever. Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
