Anti ice protesters get this. Storming a church in St. Paul, Minnesota, disrupting services to confront the pastor who they allege is working with ICE AG Pam Bondi, quote, says this attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law. If state leaders refuse to act responsibly to prevent lawlessness, the DOJ will remain mobilized to prosecute federal crimes and ensure that the rule of law prevails. Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily. We're here live on real America's voice. And folks, today is of course, January 20, 2026, Anno Domini one year of Trump. One year since the return of President Trump to the Oval Office. Also one year. I posted the photo up on Twitter, since Charlie and Erica got to be there at the inauguration and be with the president. One of the best pictures that we'll ever see, one of the best pictures we'll ever see of our friends. And a hard fought victory for so many and yet bittersweet in so many ways. Now, when we look at all of this, here's the thing. The left didn't just go away one year ago. The left didn't just disappear. They didn't just dissipate. They didn't vanish into the ether, didn't roll over and die. No, they're back and they're backed with a vengeance. We're at the church raids part. And specifically what did they say? They said they were raiding white Christian churches. White Christians are the targets. Everyone who was involved with that church raid needs to be arrested immediately. There's no question about it. If it's Don Lemon, if it's Keith Ellison, all the way up to Tim Walls, every single one of them needs to be arrested under the Face Act. It was in law from 1994. We know this law has been on the books. It needs to be signed, it needs to be done. There's no question, there's no more excuses. That's key. What else do we see going on? Folks understand the next time they're not just going to be protesting in the church. The next time they are going to show up with murderous intent. And they're already, when you look at the trans elements out there, the trans militants, they've already been shooting up the churches. And by the way, what was the last church they targeted? Oh, right, a church in Minneapolis, the church in the Annunciation. That trans militant went in pew by pew, shooting the wit through the windows, up and down the aisles as children, little children were sitting there going to mass. Understand what part of the movie we're in. This is it. This is the chance to make the final stand for American freedom. We know who they're targeting. We know who the targets are. We know what the list is. We know where. Where. We need to be defensive. And the key is simple. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense. We need to go on the offensive immediately. The work in Minneapolis has been amazing. The patriots in Minneapolis have been amazing. You've seen the human events coverage also Cam Higby, Nick Sorter, of course, crushing it. Nick Sorter, of course, I've been in communications with ever since his incident, which happened there on the ground, his dragging incident. We'll have more on that as it develops. But ladies and gentlemen, we need to understand that time is short. One year from today, the next Congress will be sworn in. What does that mean? Well, we'll have already been sworn in. They actually get sworn in a little bit earlier than the President. So what does that mean? Which Congress is that going to be? Is that going to be a Republican Congress or is that going to be a Democrat Congress? Are we going to have a new speaker of the House? Are we going to have Speaker Johnson or. Or are we going to have Speaker Hakeem? Speaker Hakeem. The fight for the midterms begins now. And that fight is all about delivering for the American people. The tariffs, ending the forever wars. And by the way, I got to say, Greenland. I'm all in on Greenland. You guys know this. You've been watching this. Hemispheric defense from northern Greenland all the way south to the Panama Canal through the Gulf of America, named by our own Kevin Posobic. Yes. It's all about the greater people. Talk about certain projects out there. I'm talking about the Greater America Project. All right. Obtain Greenland to avoid conflict in the future. It's so simple. Right back. Jack Posobic, Human Events Daily. Nothing will stand in our way. And our golden age has just begun. This is Human Events with Jack Posoba. Now it's time for everyone to understand what America first truly means. Welcome to the second American Revolution. All right, Jack Posobic, we are back live here. Real America's voice. Human Events Daily. Folks, look, you're anything like me. The holidays were a little bit brutal. All those healthy eating habits gone desserts, the late nights, skipping workouts. I've been. I've been keeping back up. Don't worry, folks. I'm keeping back up. But now we're in the New year year, so it's time to reset. Let's undo all that. Make a New Year's resolution to actually give our bodies what they need. For me and my family, that fresh start begins with COVID Pure. And here's the thing. Everyone jumps into the new year buying new supplements, trying a new diet, trying new workouts to trying. But they completely ignore the most important basic thing. Your water. The water that you are drinking. Even mild dehydration will impact your energy, your focus, and of course, your metabolism. And when you think about all the garbage that's in our water, you're starting behind the curve before you even begin. Cove Pure's clear wave technology is certified to remove up to 99.9% of contaminants. Pretty much anything that isn't water. We're talking pfas, microplastics, pharmaceutical residue, fluoride. It all gets removed. It's the purest water you can get. And what I love most about COVID Pure is it lets you choose the temperature of your water, because sometimes you want it hot, sometimes you want it cold, sometimes you want it warm. Sometimes Tanya Tay likes to make her tea. She wants it as hot as possible. Believe me, that woman likes it hot. And it makes your water taste so good. Pure, clean, no aftertaste. Cove Pure makes it so easy to get pure water with the push a button. So this year, make a New Year's resolution that sticks. Improve your health with clean water. Right now, you get $200 off for a limited time if you use this link. COVP pure.com poso that's c o v p u r e.com poso start the new year right C O V p u r e.com poso cove pure.com all right, we're monitoring now. President Trump, of course, giving this incredible press briefing. He's talking about the fraud in Minneapolis.
C
He.
D
He is.
A
Tanya Tay is. Tanya Tate just texted me. She said in all caps, I like it hot, exclamation mark. Three exclamation marks on that one. And. And President Trump, 19 billion, he says, is missing in Minnesota. He's also holding up mug shots of the people who have been arrested. These heinous criminals, rapists, child traffickers, murderers that have been arrested in Minneapolis. And so many out protesting to support them. How strange. So when we do look at the. When we do look at the fraud that's there in Minneapolis, what's key, what's absolutely key to understand is that this is not just about fraud from Minneapolis. It's also about the daycare fraud and fraud that's missing from hhs. We're very excited and honored here on Human Events Daily to bring on Alex Adams, the Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for the Administration for Children and Families. Alex, how are you?
C
I'm doing well. Thanks for having me, Jack.
A
Well, thanks for coming on. So you got the president up there. He's talking about 19 billion. Now, of course, that's, that's a, you know, a total number that's all in. When. When HHS is looking at the Minneapolis problem set, what can you tell us that you're drilling down on right now?
C
Well, first, Jack, as you said a year ago today, President Trump was Sworn into office. And putting America first means rooting out fraud in each and every one of these programs at the Administration for Children and Families. The program that we're specifically looking at in Minnesota is the child care subsidy program. So the way these programs work, Congress appropriates money. My agency sends it out to states. States administer it, and they're entrusted to administer it within federal parameters. We send out about $185 million annually to. To Minnesota. And then Minnesota is supposed to use that to help defray the cost of childcare for its citizens. They serve between 18, 19,000 kids with those dollars. And certainly, based on past reports and recent reports, there's a suggestion that a lot of that has gone to fraud. False store frauds, phantom children, et cetera. We at the Department of Health and Human Services had an Office of Inspector General report that had been done earlier this year. It was in, and it was critical of Minnesota's practices, specifically how they kept attendance records and suggested a series of improvements. There had been a number of other reports, including a legislative audit report from the state of Minnesota itself. So in early December, we sent a letter to the state asking for data on claims. One of the challenges with these federal programs is you separate the financing and the accountability. We are the funder, we are the overseer, but the state of Minnesota administers it. And they've been sending us bills, but they haven't necessarily been sending us data. So we, in early December, asked for data on their program participants. We've asked for data on attendance records, inspection records, things that would give confidence to the American taxpayers. And to date, we have not received that data from them. So we've taken a number of actions. We had announced that we were doing a restricted drawdown where we were going to condition their funding on them, providing that data. That's been held up in court. We're under a temporary restricted or a temporary restraining order. So we've taken other actions. We actually have a team on site this week asking them about their practices, asking them for data, because Americans deserve accountability for these tax dollars. This doesn't just impact Minnesota. As I said, we send $185 million in tax dollars out the door to that state annually. So every dollar stolen by a fraudster is stolen from a child that could have benefited from the services that the program was intended to prefer.
A
And this is something that I think is so key, and you absolutely hit on it. And I appreciate you saying that, because this isn't just money that's gamed out of the system. It's not, you know, funny money. This is theft from the children of Minnesota and in some cases disabled children, the neediest of the needy, the people who actually need it, the children who actually need it, the native Minnesotans, the children who are there who are just asking for the help from the government. Obviously it's been allocated by Congress to be able to do this. That's who they're stealing from. And those are the true victims. So I wanted to say thank you so much for pointing that out because so many times people say, oh, why is the administration cracking down here? I said, no, no, no, no. It's not a crackdown on a certain group of people, people. It's because they're victimizing the neediest of the needy, disabled children in Minnesota, Minneapolis and throughout. And obviously it's not just Minnesota. Wanted to also ask you because you've got a new deregulatory push that you're, that you're working on. But in some cases it's also tied to the fraud because of some regulations that Joe Biden put in while he was in place. Walk that through for our audience.
C
Yeah, we're focused on dismantling the administrative state that starts with both regulations and sub regulatory guidance that the agency issues. And what you see is when you look at our trend line of regulations, it goes up almost exponentially, especially during Democratic administrations. In the last year of Democratic administrations in particular and in 2024, the Biden administration rushed some regulations that we think would have turbocharged fraud in the child care program. It asked states to pay based on enrollment for child care, not based on attendance. It asked states to pay in advance, not after the fact, based on verified attendance. And it asked states to start converting some of its funding for childcare from vouchers that go to parents and allow a parent to shop around for the childcare facility that best meets their needs and instead contracting with specific locations. So if you think of the Quality Leering center and some of these other facilities that have been pilloried online, the Biden administration was asking American taxpayers to pay up front, regardless if a kid showed up or not. It's not hard to see how that could lead to fraud and make it easier to perpetuate and harder to crack down on. So as part of our dereg efforts, we published a temporary rule to start the process of getting that off of the books and allowing states to put teeth into oversight of these programs. But Jack, that's one small example. We see this all over the place and we're committed at the Administration for Children and families to deregulating, downsizing, smart sizing government, doing what's right. And just as one example, we just inventoried all our sub regulatory guidance documents. These are things that are purportedly just guidance but often carry the force and effect of law through intimation if nothing else. And we just found we have 55,000 pages of sub regulatory guidance. I was talking to my team, I said, you know, God had 10 commandments for the entire world. Somehow I have 55,000 pages of sub regulatory guidance documents for grant programs that pass through state and local governments. We can do better and we must do better. And you can rest assured we're very soon going to have a bonfire of regulations at acf. Focus on the things that will combat fraud, focus on things that will ensure affordability to American taxpayers and get rid of all the fluff.
A
Well, I mean that's absolutely incredible because when so many people look at this, they said they don't realize how much money really goes through hhs, how much funding goes in there. But to your point, once the money goes out of the federal coffers, it's really to the states and that's where this problem is. But that administration of those federal dollars, I'll simply ask this, you know, as we're leaving, but you know, if there's any indications where you uncover information that could lead to potential liability for officials or fraudsters involved, is that then communicated over to doj?
C
Yes, sir. We work hand in hand with our other federal partners. We also at HHS have the office of the Inspector General. And you can rest assured that we're going to support President Trump, that we're going to focus on America first, that we are going to root out fraud wherever it exists within our programs. I administer about 60 programs, 70 billion doll dollars that goes out to states and we're going to look under every rock and every cover. You know, we've started sending out letters in our TANF program as well, which is cash assistance. We just sent a letter to President Biden's home state of Delaware last week alleging that they inappropriately used funds in the cash welfare program. And you can rest assured this will be a big priority for us the rest of the way.
A
Alex Adams is secretary of hhs. Thank you so much for joining us. We're honored to have you here on Human Events Daily.
C
Thank you, Jack.
A
Thank you. God bless. All right folks, stay tuned right back with so much more action packed show today. Yes, we are on location. More on that to come. Jack Posobi Cuban Events Daily. Today you know, they talk about influencers. These are influencers. And. And they're friends of mine.
E
Jack.
A
Where's Jack? Jack. He's got a great job. All right, Jack Posobic, we are back live here, Human Events Daily. I want to bring on Libby Emmons. She's the editor in chief of Human Events and the Post Millennial. Libby, how are you?
B
Jack, how are you doing?
A
I'm doing well. So I read your op ed the other day. Is Minneapolis going to be our bleeding Kansas moment? And my response to it was, you know, I don't know if bleeding Kansas is right. Of course, that was the, you know, the chaos over whether or not Kansas would turn into a slave state or a free state. It was immediately prior to the Civil War, really seen as one of the precursors, but I do perhaps see it as a precursor to some of the type of activity that we saw during the Spanish Civil War, AKA the Spanish Communist Revolution. Funny how, by the way, if you notice, our history books don't even tell you that Spain had a communist regime at one point in the early 1930s. Funny how that works, isn't it?
B
Yeah, it sure is. And I, you know, I think that you're. I think that you're right. And my concern and why I wrote the piece was because I'm concerned that we are veering headlong into something absolutely terrifying in this country and that we could really be in trouble if we are not paying attention and understanding what's going on in Minneapolis over the weekend. As we saw in viral video, and we know Don Lemon was there, we had agitators who are very organized with something called Operation Pull Up Storm, into a Church in St. Paul, a Christian church, specifically targeting white Christians, specifically going in there, heckling them for being white, screaming at them, making their children cry, interrupting services and. And complaining at these people for having one of their pastors, one of the men who's on the pastoral staff at the church, also works for ice. And so they were harassing worshipers over this. And this is, of course, a complete violation of the parishioners and the church's First Amendment rights.
A
Bill Libby, I want to point out something, and I said this on Twitter this morning, and I noticed that not a lot of people were saying it was that if you go and actually watch the videos of the agitators, the leftists, when they go in there, they don't just say they're going after Christians, they specifically say white Christians. We can't allow these white people, these fake Christians, to not stand with their Black and brown brothers out there. Those are the real Christians. And you're not a real Christian if you're white and not there. Libby, why is it that they racialize a religion? Why is the race, the white race, so much of a target for them?
B
These are the same people who were involved with blm. Right. I mean, this is going back a good few years at this point, where they have been targeting specifically white people and ideas that they think are white, such as, you know, like being on time for work, stuff like that, that they think is really perhaps criminal activity and associ. Yeah, they're. They're used to this. Right. This is what they have wanted.
A
Not just being punctual, following, following rules, knowing. Knowing when it's time to be quiet sometimes, you know, just. Just. Just more. More of that pervasive, toxic whiteness.
B
Yeah, we. That was an exhibit at the Smithsonian about how toxic whiteness.
A
Yes.
B
Can be. Yeah. I mean, really crazy. But they. They are. They are specifically hating white people. There was a man out there, a white man, of course, William Kelly, who agitator. He has a GoFundMe that is helping him pay for all of his expenses out there in Minnesota. And he went into this church and started screaming at everybody about their rich lifestyles and their lattes and that the fact. And saying that they're Nazis, which is absolutely out of control. And after he went to this church, broke up, worship, terrorized children and families. He then went to a mosque where he was invited, and he spoke in his TikTok about how beautiful that mosque was and how amazing it was, and welcoming the people there made him feel. Now it was empty. And he talked about how scared the people who attend the mosque are of going to their house of worship. And so in retaliation, his idea was to make the white people feel terrorized in their house of worship. One of the women who was leading the organized protest agitation here, Nekima Armstrong, is actually a reverend as well as a former president of the NAACP in Minneapolis, and she's a civil rights attorney. And she said that she was there under the power of God, that she was doing this for God. Right. She was terrorizing these families, screaming at children and moms and dads, getting in everybody's face because they dare have a parishioner who works for ICE who's a pastor at the church, which is absolutely out of control. The man who was giving the sermon that day is not even the man they were targeting. He wasn't even there. So to top it off, they're going in There calling these people horrible names, violating their First Amendment rights, claiming that they're doing it under their first Amendment rights. But we know that you can't practice your rights by violating other people's rights. That's not how that works. Yeah, so that was going on here. It's absolutely horrific. And you didn't even have Governor Tim Waltz come out and say anything specific. You just had his office make a little statement.
A
So, Libby, this isn't the first time we've seen this, by the way, because there were some journals which were kept completely hidden by the FBI and local police out of Nashville, written by Aubrey Hale, the trans shooter there at the Christian school where she too wrote that she specifically targeted that Christian school where she had gone, not just because they were Christian, but also because they were white. She wrote that she hates white people and that she worships black people. Why was that information hidden?
B
Well, I think there's a lot of reasons why someone would want to hide that. Right? I mean, people in law enforcement certainly don't want anyone out in the public to think that white people are being targeted. Because we've seen a lot of regulations over the past few years that are specifically targeting white people. You know, you have DEI and things like that. We've seen a lot of reporting about how white people are specifically not hired for different jobs because it's more important to prioritize identity over, you know, merit perhaps and other things like that. So, yeah, they didn't want us to know that Aubrey Hale had been completely indoctrinated as a self hating white person and that she was going out there specifically to kill white Christian children. Again, this is absolutely horrifying. And there's no reason in this country that we can't just all live in peace. We were doing it about 25 years ago and for some reason now we have to.
A
The reason is these. There's these agitators and they're agitating it all up. Libby Emmons. Where can people go to follow you and get access to that op ed?
B
You can find me at Libby Evans on Twitter and of course, check out my op ed@human events.com.
A

We've got a clip out of surge media in Philadelphia on a SEPTA bus. SEPTA is the Philadelphia Area Transportation Authority. You got to see what happened when an antifa agitator came across an independent journalist. Let's play it now.
E
What about. Oh, she doesn't want to be on camera now.
A
No.
E
Why not? I'll record.
A
All right.
E
Why do you do that? Why do you do that? I mean, you're so good.
A
What am I. Whoa, whoa.
E
She got in the back of my head with pepper spray. That was. She's still there. She's coming. You're going to get. Okay, so her name's Paulina, Paulina Rays. There she is.
D
You want to wait?
E
You want to hang out for the cops? She's coming back. Yeah, she's going to wait for the cops. She's coming back.
B
And you harass people.
E
You want. You want to hang out?
A
You want to hang out.
E
How am I a racist?
A
You want to hang out? Come on, Internet.
E
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
A
Go and see.
E
Why are you so mad?
D
Why?
A
Because you talk about Islamic people, you talk about black people, you talk about.
D
Mexicans, and you post them on the Internet.
A
Come here, come here, come here.
E
Right here.
A
All right. That intrepid journalist of surge media, Frank Scales now joins us here on Human Events Daily. Frank, how are you?
E
I'm doing well. How about you? Jack, thank you for having me on the program today.
A
Have to, have to, especially for Philly Zone. Now, frankly, I gotta ask, how's the eye?
E
The eyes are feeling good. And a lot of people talked about how I didn't really, you know, react to viscerally. And that's because just a week before that incident, I was pepper sprayed when I was covering a protest in Philadelphia again. So I got pepper. Pepper sprayed twice in about two weeks. But I'm feeling 100.
A
Good, good. Now, let me, let me ask you, who was this individual? What's her backstory? Why did she target you? Target you the way that she did?
E
So her name is Paulina Rays. She was a Community College of Philadelphia student. And I was actually at Community College of Philadelph, the school, while she was there. She was like a journalist for the student newspaper. And now she works at Y News in Philadelphia. So she actually calls herself a journalist to this day on LinkedIn. But she saw me and I actually turned around on the bus and I saw her and she was calling me a fascist and a racist. And I said, I disagree with that. I'm not. And at that point, when she realized she couldn't bait me into an argument, she became very aggressive. So I immediately started recording and it just escalated from there.
A
And this is really. So wait a minute. She's a W h. Why? Why News intern in, in the city right now. She's working with, basically that's sort of like the NPR of Philadelphia. She's over at W H Y Y and she's going around pepper spraying people on the bus. If she doesn't like what they say on the Internet, is that what you know? Or at least what she thinks they say on the Internet? That.
E
That's correct. And it's very unfortunate that WHY has not come out and condemned political violence. They're publicly funded and they should do that immediately. They should do that right now.
A
No, this is horrific. And I put the tweet up with. When you guys identified her over at Surge Media, we put it up. I said, why is this? Why is this? Why W h y Y in turn going around doing this. It's gone incredibly viral. The piece has gone out there because they think, and here's, here's the issue, and this is something, and I think you can answer. Does she think that the DA is in Philadelphia, is actually going to do anything to her?
E
She. I would say she doesn't. I can't speak for her, but I don't think she does. Just a month ago, we got our phone smashed when we were covering a protest at City hall. And that individual who smashed my phone actually got diversion. So the DA doesn't hold anybody accountable and these radical leftists know it. So they feel they can do whatever they want. And that's why the atmosphere is especially hostile and violent in Philadelphia for people who are Republicans.
A
Well, and you've actually gone and had a few, a few run ins with the DA as well. The Soros DA there, Larry Krasner, his response, he blames things on Trump. He blames things on ice. But that wasn't Donald Trump pepper spraying people on the bus. That wasn't ICE pepper spraying people on the bus. That was one of these cretins that supporting him.
E
Yes, exactly. And when I actually had an interaction with him, I just asked why I wasn't allowed in his previous town hall because he had his supporters literally block me from entering his town hall because he knew I disagreed with him. So I asked him why and he grabbed my phone. So even Larry Krassner himself assaulted me in a park. So it's insane. But the silver lining here is that septic crimes, the transit authority in Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, they can be prosecuted by the state of Pennsylvania. And that's what we want to see happen because these people, these agitators, these Marxists, these anarchists, they need to be held accountable, they need to be identified, they need charges need to be pressed and they need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law to stop this political violence.
A
Well, that's an interesting point that you make because even though the governor of Pennsylvania is currently Democrat, Josh Shapiro, Republicans actually won the Attorney general seat in 2024 as well as the Senate race with Dave McCormick, president with Donald Trump. But Dave Sunday also won as the attorney general candidate. And so there is actually a Republican attorney general there in the in office. And that's a great point that you make that in on a septibus that the state can actually come in and level charges because that is actually a state related agency.
E
Yes. And the state actually had to step in because Larry Krasser was doing such a bad job in keeping people safe on septice. So the state stepped in. Unfortunately they did. And I'm hoping that we could see justice served and the state can help out here.
A
Well, I hope you do. And as you go through this investigation, as it proceeds, I want you to come back on, let us know what the developments are. For now though, for people who want to support you, support your work, tell them where they can go.

E
Thank you for having me right back.

Jack is a great guy. He's written a fantastic book. Everybody's talking about it. Go get it. And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event. And we're going to turn it around and make our country great again. Amen. All right folks, we are back here on Human Events Daily. Kind of an interesting next guest that we have coming up because normally when I introduce this guy I say he's the opinion editor of Human Events, but he's actually coming on. He went and Said, you know what? I don't do enough work. I guess we haven't assigned him enough work over at Human Events because he's taken on another title. Kenny Cody joins us again. Kenny, what, what are you up to? What's going on on this stuff I hear down in Tennessee?
D
Well, Jack, it's on to be on with you, brother. On Friday, I announced my candidacy for the Tennessee House of Representatives, District 11, Cott County, Hamlin county and Jefferson county, slivers of Hamlin county and Jefferson county and all of Cott County. Representative Jerry Phase announced his retirement. And I am making my bid to become the Republican nominee for that position. And on August 6th.
A
So we got that. We got the Appalachian kid running as a Republican for Tennessee's 11th housed district. All right, Kenny, why should anyone who's in that district, why should they vote for you?
D
Over the last 10 years of my life, I grew up here in these mountains. Over the last 30 years, I've grew up in these mountains. But over the last 10 years, I've dedicated myself to public service, whether that's been as a school teacher at Cosby High School and Cosby Elementary School, where that's been the GOP chair of the Cott County Republican Party for the last seven years of my life. And just being in this community and seeing how it recovered from Hurricane Helene, where these churches, the local government and the state government all banded together in the midst of disaster, I realized that in the midst of Jerry Fajian's retirement, I wanted to step up to become the man in the arena, just like Teddy Roosevelt said. I have seen that this community deserves somebody who is a native, deserved an East Tennessean that knows that we're going to embody the mountain conservative Christian values that every family in this district, every man, every woman and every child in this district embodies. And I know I can bring that to the Tennessee House of Representatives in Nashville and bring some Smoky Mountain conservatism into the halls of Cordell Hole. And I know that over the next six months, I'm going to go knock every door. I'm going to go meet every Appalachian constituent that I've got and earn votes and get to know the Christian conservative values that our district embodies. And I know that I can bring that representation to House District 11.
A
Oh, Smoky Mountain conservatism. Now, would that be possibly related to populist conservatism? Because I know, Kenny Cody, when I've read your op eds, when I've read your work work, you do not have A lot of put this way, you know, you don't really spare your powder when it comes to the establishment conservatives. You are a rock ribbed populist, as populist as they come.
D
I'm a populist that goes out and listens to his constituents. You know, look, I've always said that populism is a tool to go out and listen to constituents, go out and listen to the low propensity voters, the high pitched voters and all those who care about their values and the Christian conservative values that this district embodies. Bodies. I know that I'm going to go out, I'm going to go and listen to these people. I'm going to go and listen to my, my future constituents and then get people to vote that may have not voted before, those low propensity voters that may feel like they've never been heard. And I'm going to use populism to hear them. I want to hear those Appalachian voices. I want to hear these mountain values and these Christian conservative values that my district, I know embodies. I've done that over the last seven years as the Republican Party chairman, helping Republican candidates, candidates both statewide, countywide and nationally be able to go out and listen to my constituents. And I know that I could do the same thing as the Tennessee House representative in the State House. And I'm going to use populism to get to know that the working class issues that our district embodies, they don't want their jobs going overseas. They don't want illegal immigrants coming in and committing crimes and violence against the people of House District 11 and taking their jobs. We want to ensure that, that Tennessee is a safe haven for Tennessee families, for Christian conservatives and for everybody here to live in peace and to have that economic, educational prosperity that this district deserves. I know that I'm going to use my skill, use populism and be able to go out and listen to those values just like J.D. the vice president, J.D. vance did. I know that I can do that and I'm going to thrive to do that over the next six months.
A
We know, Kenny, when it comes to those Middle American conservatives, Appalachian conservatives, we know, obviously, obviously the president, President Trump has put so much stock in this area, of course, appointing and raising JD Vance as his vice president. But I do also have to say that when I go around and look at the Human Events, the Human Events columns, the Human Events writings, I always know that there's one guy that we've got that if you want to get something on the president's desk and get it up on his true social that you got to hand that assignment over over to Kenny Cody. Do you have. You have ever counted how many times President Trump has shared your work?
D
I think about 25. And he's also shared media clips of me talking about him. I did. I went by and counted. It's such a privilege to be a, a MAGA warrior.
E
I have went by.
A
No, it's amazing. It's amazing.
D
Yes. And I, I'm a little.
A
It's really amazing. And he has shared. Shared. He has shared. So. And he reads. And people, People don't realize that when, when the President gets something, a lot of people out there in the media, they think, oh, President Trump, you know, he just, he tweeted that out. He's just. Whatever, you know, he's just putting it up there. His staff does that for him. No, sir. No, sir. President Trump has them, articles printed out for him. I know this for a fact. I've seen them. I've seen them in the White House. He has the articles printed out for them. If he likes it, he says, let's make sure we get this up on truth social media, or I'll tweet it out himself. And in many cases, he'll even, he'll even, you know, write on the articles and then have that mailed to you.
D
Exactly. And he's done, he's done it for me before. He's recognized my work. He's emailed me those articles with his signature, and he's seen how I speak for the Appalachian conservatives here in House District 11. I, I've done my best to represent the values here. I, I made that clear in my articles. I always brag about my home. I'm so proud to be from Cott County. I'm so proud to be From House District 11, being connected to Jeff in Hamlin County. And I know that over the next six months, I'm going to be able to be connected to the President. I'm going to promote his values. I'm going to make sure that our local law enforcement has the funding to work with the ICD to deport illegal immigrants and to arrest those illegals that are coming here and committing crime and violence against our people and protect our homeland. That's exactly what our district needs. We need to bring economic prosperity here to make sure we're not outsourcing jobs, bring economic prosperity here for small businesses to thrive. Thrive. For agriculture to thrive. And I know by safeguarding the families of District 11, we can make that happen.
A
Now I know that, you know, coming in, you know, obviously in your area, you've got a certain, certain types of issues. But as, as Tennessee writ large comes in, we've seen a number of crime issues, at least prior to the President's efforts there in Memphis, other parts of the state. When you're looking at issues statewide that affect Tennessee, would you be supportive of the President's efforts there and continuing those efforts to help to keep and maintain the peace in a once great city like Memphis? That should be made great again. It is being made great again.
D
Absolutely. I hope the National Guard comes in and continues to help Memphis and even, even in Nashville. You know, I wrote an article a few months ago that talked about how Mayor Freddie o' Connell in Nashville was opposing ICE agents and exposing them and trying to out them and dox them and in danger Ice age. By simply coming in there and deporting illegal immigrants and arresting those aliens that are coming here and committing crime, I would ensure that. I would work with the Trump administration, call out the local officials that are rejecting that help and call for the National Guard to be sent in. Listen, if the local government, if the local mayors and the bureaucracy in these cities and in these counties are not going to step up, then the federal government should come in and ensure that our people are safe. Because Americans come first. The government doesn't come first first. The foreigners don't come first. Criminals don't come first. In our state, Tennesseans come first. And in this country, Americans come first. And that has to be prioritized. And I'll make sure it's prioritized in Nashville.
A
Look, folks, I'll just say it. You know, I, President Trump has, I believe, they say, taken a shine to Mr. Kenny Cody and taken a shine to his writings. And, and I think it's because the power of his convictions that he speaks with, with the ability to be a voice for his community, especially an area, as we know, the MAGA movement going back 10 years ago, an area that gets overlooked and has been overlooked by so much of the country for so long. You play the game of the east coast and the west coast, you miss all the people in the middle, especially communities that are filled with great people like Kenny Cody. So when those voices get raised up by President Trump, it's incredible to see folks and patriots like yourself, Kenny, to actually step up and meet the moment to say, I'm willing to do this. I'm willing to put my hand up. Where can people go to connect not just with your writing, but also with your campaign?
D
Yeah, I usually just say at Katie Cotn, but it's kind of expanded past that now. You can go follow our campaign account, Cody War Roomtn on Twitter Kenny Cody for State House on Facebook and go to our website, votekinnycody.com on any media browser.

Kenny Cody, Appalachian kid. Go check him out. Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission play.
Date: January 20, 2026
Host: Jack Posobiec
Special Guests: Alex Adams (Assistant Secretary, HHS), Libby Emmons (Editor-in-Chief, Human Events), Frank Scales (Surge Media), Kenny Cody (Opinion Editor, Human Events)
This episode tackles recent Antifa-led disruptions and violence targeting Christian churches in Minnesota and the broader context of political unrest, culture wars, and fraud in public programs. Host Jack Posobiec frames these events as part of an ongoing escalation by left-wing and radical elements in society post-Trump’s return to the White House, analyzing their implications for American freedom, national security, and midterm politics. The episode blends breaking news, vivid eyewitness accounts, and interviews with officials and journalists to paint a picture of a nation in turmoil and at a pivotal crossroads.
Jack Posobiec (03:38):
"We're at the church raids part. And specifically what did they say? They said they were raiding white Christian churches. White Christians are the targets."
Pam Bondi (via Posobiec, 02:32):
"Attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law."
Jack Posobiec (04:30):
"The next time they are going to show up with murderous intent."
Alex Adams (11:04):
"The program that we're specifically looking at in Minnesota is the child care subsidy program... and certainly, based on past reports and recent reports, there's a suggestion that a lot of that has gone to fraud. False store frauds, phantom children, et cetera."
Jack Posobiec (13:45):
"This is theft from the children of Minnesota and in some cases, disabled children—the neediest of the needy."
Alex Adams (15:02):
"You know, God had 10 commandments for the entire world. Somehow I have 55,000 pages of sub regulatory guidance documents for grant programs that pass through state and local governments. We can do better and we must do better."
Jack Posobiec (21:37):
"If you go and actually watch the videos of the agitators, the leftists, when they go in there, they don't just say they're going after Christians, they specifically say white Christians."
Libby Emmons (23:03):
"They are specifically hating white people... [the agitator] went into this church and started screaming at everybody about their rich lifestyles and their lattes... saying that they're Nazis, which is absolutely out of control."
Libby Emmons (25:45):
"They didn't want us to know that Aubrey Hale had been completely indoctrinated as a self-hating white person and that she was going out there specifically to kill white Christian children."
Frank Scales (33:47):
"It's very unfortunate that WHYY has not come out and condemned political violence. They're publicly funded and they should do that immediately."
Jack Posobiec (34:27):
"Does she think the DA in Philadelphia is actually going to do anything to her?"
Kenny Cody (42:27):
"I'm a populist that goes out and listens to his constituents... I want to hear those Appalachian voices. I want to hear these mountain values and these Christian conservative values that my district, I know, embodies."
Jack Posobiec (46:22):
"You play the game of the east coast and the west coast, you miss all the people in the middle, especially communities that are filled with great people like Kenny Cody."
Jack Posobiec positions ongoing unrest—from church raids to bureaucratic fraud and urban violence—as evidence of an existential threat to American order. Through pointed interviews and firsthand reports, the episode centers on the theme of rallying listeners to active engagement, vigilance, and support for America First policies and values. The tone throughout is urgent, direct, and heavily adversarial toward perceived leftist and establishment threats.
